My husband and I started to book the service with Maid Right a few months ago. Our main goal was for them to help me with the major cleaning house, windows, moving furniture, get to the spot where in one person it's hard to do. We initially agreed for two main to come over for two and half hours every two week for $125.00 per visit. They seem very professional when we met with their supervisor so we gave it a go. After the first visit the work was done ok, some things needed to be retouched, also we had an issue with the master bathroom glass door that wasn't closing anymore. It took them a few visits but they did addressed the issue. On the second service one of the two cleaning ladies was replaced since she wasn't working out great but after that we end up having only one person come over. At first we were like ok let's see how she does and then we decide what to do. You would expect that for the same price the one person would stay longer to get the work of two people done but that was never the case, though the one person come was very nice, trust worthy and the work she did was good. Unfortunately it was not the work that we were promised. She never moved any furniture since it's hard to do alone of course, but overall we were fine. After a few times my husband started complaining that we were paying way too much for one person cleaning for two hours. Later on she started changing the days often, which was a problem for us since we both work from home and we have certain schedules, until she couldn't come anymore. The manager sent over a new team, she asked me if it was necessary for her to come with them to supervise as first time. Is it even a question to ask? As professional company I think you have to come over with the new team, and not me to explain what and how they have to work. When they show up they took forever to park the car and pull out all the stuff, as I was waiting with them in the garage, and as soon as they step in the house I had the feeling that it was not going to work out. When they started my feelings became real. Nothing like what I expect from a cleaning service at all, they left traces everywhere and hairs, moved furniture which they never put back, and I didn't even understand why they moved it since dust was still there. They were supposed to work for 2.5 hours but they stayed for 1 hour and 45 minutes. My husband when he walked them out had to bring the trash out himself, and of course he told them everything was fine since he wanted them out of the house as we were tired in having such a bad service with this company. We just wanted them out, and don't have anything to do with it ever again. I called the manager and sent to her a lot of pictures about the lack of service we experienced, she apologized but also said that we told the guys that everything was ok. Of course we said that was ok we were just tired of having incompetent people around! Plus it's not our job to check, they should have people who leave the place spotless without me checking around. Then after many calls back and forth with the manager (during my work hours, so I lost even more time) she said that she was going to discount $50 because they did some work. So at that point I just wanted to have nothing to do anymore with all of this story and I said it was fine, but not fair at all because I never complain for a penny even when for months I had one person coming instead of two. So I told her to charge me and I would leave a review about them. She spoke with the owner and called me back saying they wouldn't charge me if I didn't leave a bad review! OMG! This was very disrespectful and of course to me was not a money question anymore, but a "transparency and moral thing". So here I am. It doesn't take much to be professional and to choose the right collaborators to work with. If you are looking for a good service look somewhere else, or expect a 0 star service as this review! read more

The worst service we posibly received. The most unprofessional company. They arrived late to our appointment, I specifically asked for a service but they didn't want to do the job because they claimed they didn't brought the material they needed and that they had a later appointment they couldn't miss. I have an empty, three bedroom house (1400 sq. ft) that I'm selling. I wanted to have the blinds in the rooms dusted, floors vacuumed/mopped, and to have two baths cleaned. They didn't have to touch the kitchen. Initially they moved my appointment from 1 to 4 pm. Then they showed up almost an hour late. It took three people three hours ($256) to clean three empty bedrooms, two baths, and mop an empty living/dining floor. The only things to clean were standard blinds (36"x36" - total of 5 blinds), ceiling fan (2), vacuum carpets (2), and tile floor (1). Had them reclean the blinds a couple of times - they were still dusty when they left. One bathroom was hardly used so didn't need much cleaning, the other smaller bathroom they just couldn't clean. The man that cleaned it said he'd scrubbed it - glass shower doors were still dirty, floor was full of soap residue (from cleanser). Completely disappointing. A woman swept/mopped the living/dining floor, and not only didn't clean it, but left water marks. They didn't have to touch the kitchen, or interior cabinets of the one bathroom. I called the company numerous times with no response, yet within five minutes of leaving, my credit card was charged (and by the way, I'd been told that after the cleaning, we would speak on the phone and she would tell me what the invoice was - didn't happen). The next day, Ana (from the company) returned my call. Offered to send back the same team (???) I requested a different one (the first team actually thought they DID clean so why would I want them back, What were they going to do differently?). A woman showed up that afternoon, and recleaned the blinds, the smaller bath(she didn't think it was clean either), and mopped the living/dining floor, and she did a beautiful job. It's a shame she didn't come the first time around. Way too much aggravation time, and money for the amount of work that had to be done. Will not use again, nor recommend. read more

I live in NJ and have a Condo in Miami Beach. I just got a new tenant and thought the place was clean. Little did I know the Condo was a mess. I called Marilyn with my problem and she was great!! She was able to schedule a cleaning with in 2 hours to help me with my problem. The staff arrived on time and did a great job. My overall experience was definitely not the best. The job did not get done right on the first try and scheduling a follow up was even worse. The tools they used were of poor quality and they didn't know how to distribute their time to cover the entire house. They even showed up with no trash bags! Would not recommend them at all if you want a deep cleaning of your house. read more
