We were quoted $350 for the job and when the cleaning crew arrived they refused to start unless they got more money so the quote changed to $450 for half the house and $800 for the entire house. We needed help so we agreed on half the house. The workers came to me and asked for cleaning supplies. No one told me I was providing the cleaning supplies or what was needed. So my husband had to run to the store to get the supplies. They worked for 4 hours and we were told they were going to work for 3 hours. They didn't even finish the agreed amount of cleaning. They ended up charging me $600 for an unfinished job and I had to dig through all the trash to get my children's favorite toys only to find they threw out family photos and my ultrasound photos of my most recent child.

I was given a quote and strongly told to only do oil based satin for the finish. I don't know what should be used so I listen to the owner and I thought expert on this. It took a while before they inquired about coming to do the job. I assumed it was due to weather so no big deal. Finally set up for it to be done after several weeks. We removed everything off deck ourselves. They sanded and stained deck over a two day period. All of this went well. It was dry and warm in fact one of the days very warm. I was told to not let anything even pets on deck for 24-48 hours which I painstakingly did. Even went longer than that due to weather and was away from house some. As seen in pictures below once we did go on the deck, all these marks, discolorations, pet paw prints and foot prints adhered to the deck. They do not come off.! We informed owner and she has been out twice, trying to scrub the prints and marks off with a brush and to use paint thinner to try and remove. She informed us after talking to the stain distributor, that this oil stain can take a long time to cure and weather here is unpredictable needs to be dry and warm. She then said she can't know the weather. I think those variables should have been discussed initially , when quoted, and the unpredictable weather in central NY is not a new concept. We would not have done oil based if we had this knowledge. Something I think she should have fully know from her distributor before doing the deck. My husband has tried three times with no success to lightly power wash and remove the worst of the marks. Something perhaps this company should have done. This was not cheap and we the customer have done everything exactly as we were told to and are left with this messy deck. The owner's position is she can't control pets and people walking on it or the weather. Did she think we were never going to walk on it or have cold, damp, rainy weather? Just ridiculous! Never has she offered any compensation returned to us, which would have gone a long way in how we feel about it. Awful professionalism! Now I know one should not use oil based deck stain unless certain of a good week or more of dry, hot weather and even then not so sure a good idea around here. So disappointing. Would absolutely not recommend.

After a fire at my home, I hired TPM General Contractors to perform the rebuilding work and paid most of the contract amount expecting the work to be completed properly. Unfortunately, my experience involved what I believe to be shoddy and incomplete work. There were also concerning issues related to electrical work, heating vents that appeared to have been covered rather than properly installed, some items that appeared to be lower quality than what was originally expected, and a proper crawl space/attic access was never installed, along with many other concerns. Less than one year after moving back into my home, the brand new siding already needs to be replaced. Because these issues were never resolved, the remaining balance has now become part of a legal dispute. Since then, I have met with multiple homeowners who have dealt with TPM General Contractors in Liverpool, NY and reported similar experiences, including concerns about work quality, being overcharged, or being billed for items that were never completed. I am posting this in hopes that other homeowners who may have had work performed by TPM General Contractors in Liverpool, NY will share their experiences so people can better understand the full picture before hiring them.
