The team from Maiden Poland are super. So happy I found them! It took a few phone calls to book the first visit and it can be difficult to reach someone, but the service is really top notch. We had an initial trial visit on a Friday afternoon. Two very professional, very nice people came by and I showed them our house. Then, they got to work. Some highlights: They hand wash the floors, which have never looked better. They dust everywhere - even plants and inside of cabinets. They will use your products or for an additional fee use their own. They are thorough and take real pride in their work. Prices are very reasonable. I was quick to get on the bi-weekly schedule and after only two visits honestly cannot imagine what I would do without them. Maiden Poland is great. I was on the fence about having a cleaning person but with me and my fiance' both working full-time jobs, I made the jump and I'm glad I did. I've been using Maiden Poland for about 6 months now. They come every 2 weeks and they do an AMAZING job. Growing up, my grandparents had a cleaning service and all I would hear about is the places they would skip after a few months (no different than how we clean our own homes). This is not the case here. Every other Tuesday, I look forward to coming home to that clean smell and deep clean like house. Trustworthy. They passed the spare change test. Please thinks twice before hiring those guys. Yes, their rates are attractive but there is a string attached to that. 1. Customer provides cleaning supplies (a vacuum cleaner is considered one??!!!) 2. They are 45 minutes late for their appointment and do not communicate upfront. 3. They will nickle and dime you once you hire them. 4. The guarrantees on their website will evaporate and turn into mere excuses about the 'clean condition of the premises' and they will claim that there is a misconception. 5. Please do not pay upfront to them and monitor their work, as it might turn out you pay $20 per hour per person but is not clear what work is completed for this time. I would never hire similar service again. Just a heads for other customers that might be alured by their 'big promises' for less money. read more

I felt compelled to write a review after the stellar cleaning service I experienced from Maiden Poland. After moving into an apartment that looked like it hadn't been cleaned it years, I needed to find a cleaning team who was up to the challenge. Gina and her team did a fantastic job. The place was sparkling when she was done - a hard task considering how dirty it was prior. Every little spot of the house was cleaned and scrubbed to perfection. The only thing that didn't get done was the fan, but Gina happily came by the next day to clean it and even re did our floors. Unbeatable service at an affordable price. I have used this service twice now(once per month), and I am extremely satisfied with how clean my 1 bed room apartment looked after their 4 hour cleaning. You can use their products for a fee, so I recommend going to Target/Walmart and getting your own. I have a washer/dryer in my unit and so they even offered to wash my clothes/linens. Great customer service, you can schedule via email or phone. I would highly recommend for any apartment dweller. Nothing better than coming to a clean home after a long day at work. read more

I am a huge fan of Maiden Poland. I have been using them for more than 5 years. I have recommended them to several of my coworkers and they all love them too. Sometimes I will schedule them to arrive as I am leaving for work. They lock up when they leave and my place looks amazing when I get home. They do everything- change my sheets, do my laundry, do the dishes, scrub the floors....everything. Every time I have been breathless walking into my place seeing the work they have done. Gina had quoted 15 hours of clean time for a post remodeling cleaning service- which was ridiculous, and what do you know? They had finished the job in 4 hours. The job was so poorly done, and she blamed it all on the fact that my house didn't have "hot" water running, which is ridiculous. The water was warm and it was running. The windows were streaky, there was dust left in the kitchen cabinets, the job was soooooo half-assed it was ridiculous. It was the worst ridiculous cleaning service I have received. I look forward to posting the text messages between Gina and I- she honestly has the worst customer service ever, extremely bratty attitude, she ripped me off for $265 and didn't offer any sort of solution. Even my HUSBAND who does not pay attention to detail noticed that there was dust left behind everywhere. Would not recommend- don't go with them. I am totally thrilled with Maiden Poland. They have been extremely easy to schedule with when I need to make changes to our normal bi-weekly cleaning. The house is immaculate when I come home. I often look around my house and am just amazed by how clean it is and how much time I get back. They do everything the way I would if I had the time. These girls are incredibly hardworking. The first time I called them they cleaned my place on a last minute notice and did a better job than any cleaning service I've had before. Some services are extra like laundry but the prices are still very reasonable. You really do get what you paid for. I've hired them on a bi-weekly basis and I get the same girl 90% of the time, which is great because she really knows my place by now. The only time they've missed an appointment was when we had 6 inches of snow on the ground - totally expected. Great service and I've recommended them to several folks already. read more

Fantastic Cleaning service. They do a great job on your floors, your bathrooms and leave your home spotless. For Christmas (12/2008), I received a Maiden Poland gift certificate. I had recently downsized from a large home to a condo. Due to family illnesses and deaths and the need to organize, I was not able to use the certificate until (12/2010 at which point I informed "Gina" that I had the gift certificate and she stated that it would be OK to use. The cleaning job was well done. At the end of the visit I gave Gina the gift certificate and a tip and they left. She returned about 10 minutes later stating that she was not sure the gift certificate was valid. It clearly had no expiration date on it. The certificate was issued personally and directly by Maiden Poland. She stated that her workers needed to be paid for the job andthat she would research the company's records for proof that the .gift certificate was valid. She kept the gift certificate. Of course no return call after 1 month. When I called one month later, Gina stated that the company records were already destroyed from that time period and she stated that she also destroyed my gift certificate. She shared many fast talking excuses as to why. Bottom line, my loved ones, who highly recommended this company's services and had bought the certificate, lost their hard earned money to this company. read more

This was my first time using this service per a friend's referral. They charged me $100 for a two bedroom two bath condo. I had originally paid $70 with my old cleaning service but decided to try this one even though it was a lot to pay. I thought I would get more service for the money. I was told by my friend how the service included washing bed clothes, washing her clothes and folding them along with cleaning in the fridge, cleaning the stove, and the usuals of the showers, floors, and dusting. I was told the cleaning service would be at my home between 7:30am and 8am. I had expressed they needed to get there in this time span as I needed to get to work. They didn't get there until around 8:20am. I was upset as I needed to get to work by 9am for a conference call. I was told the reason was the snow. The streets had been cleared for days and it was not snowing that day. I stated they should have left earlier if they felt there would be an issue getting there. The lady they sent arrived and I asked her name and she said "no speak English." I thought how am I going to explain about cleaning my place if she doesn't understand but I went with it. I showed her my supplies (cost would have been more if i didn't provide supplies). I then showed her where my dirty loundry was and throughout the house. I also handed her the check for the $100. On the way to work I called the main contact Gina and explained that I explained I was disappointed that they were so late. She then said, how they will do the wash and I said, "you are washing the bed clothes, too, right?" She said she could do that but only two loads of wash would be done. I told her I thought washing the bed clothes was a given. She said that is not the case. I told her i was shocked. I then got home to a major disappointment. The bath rug was left dirty--never washed. Apparently didn't fit into the two wash load rule. The bed clothes were washed and one load of clothes (everything was washed together without the whites--but some of that should have not been together (delicates should be separate)). These clothes were left in the dryer and never folded. The lady however folded the towels that were in the dryer. The carpet in the bedroom had bits of paper on it...didn't look like it was vaccummed. In past cleanings by my old service I could tell it was vacuumed by the lines in the carpet. No lines. There was a dirty paper towel left in my closet from when the lady was dusting in there. The stove was never cleaned. The fridge stainless steel door was not cleaned well...saw spots on the handle. I can't express the disappointment for this cost. I was in disbelief. I contacted Gina the next day and expressed my disappointment. She said they didn't clean the stove ...get this,, becaue I didn't ask them to. What? I didn't feel I needed to ask as my friend who has used this service for years said they cleaned the stove every time. Oh, my friend's place is a house and she is charged $125. Gina used an attitude with me and never offered to reclean or anything. She just made excuses for all of this. I had to wash the bathroom rug on my own and fold my clothes and have to clean my stove now as well as vacuum since this service did the minimal. I would never recommend this service to anyone. Go to a service that won't overcharge you and clean your place well. I learned an expensive lesson with this one. I am not even a picky person...had my cleaning lady for years and I had one before that for years without a complaint. This is the first time I have had such a horrible cleaning/service. I tried this service on a friend recommendation. It was to say the least a disappointment and really incompetent cleaning services delivery. I had told the woman in charge called Gina that we have a 2bed 2 bath that was not cleaned for 4 months but was a new place before that. I also asked her if she would clean out the Fridge. Gina, the woman in charge gave me a quote of 80$ and said the first time cleaning could be a little more maybe like 95$. 2 of her women showed up late and after I had already explained what I needed done, I asked them how much would it be exactly - they said 100 $ as it would take them 5 hours. I had to go to work and 2 hours later, I got a call from my hubby that the women wanted 1 more hour. I spoke to one of them Anna and I was annoyed -she said that meant 20 dollars more... I thought maybe the closet or cleaning the fridge was taking longer and since they had started, I wanted them to finish. When I came home, I was told they asked for 160 $. The kitchen was not cleaned properly - the burners were still as stained as before, there were stains on the counter, and I was able to take it off with just my nails (not a good manicure ;-)...the bathtubs were still dirty and had soap stains... the closets that they had "organized" comprised of folding my underwear and socks along with handkerchiefs. There were 3-4 clothes folded in my husband's , closet....This apparently took them 2 hours and each and 40dollars. While the clothes were not even touched. ..and their website offers, "spring cleaning and closet organization"... You also need to tell them to wash the bathroom floor mats otherwise they vacuum it. Apparently to vaccum 800 sq feet takes them 2 hours. I called Gina and told her that it was unacceptable and she sent the girls back to clean the bathtub and then came herself for closet..with all kinds of excuses..You tell me what you want done she said in the closet ...I regret wasting my money and my time. They were really not thorough with any part of cleaning. they were not sure of what money they would charge...basically found them undependable..my tight budget was stretched and the cleaning was an indulgence - and then I found another really great woman on Craig's list for 50$ to do the basic cleaning in 3 hours - what took them 8 hours was not the cleaning in my house at least! read more
