I thought I had secured the services of Maid Pro. I had 3 calls with them including an email confirmation the day before confirmed service stating they would be providing the cleaning service as arranged. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I received a call this morning to let me know their staff had called out sick for the next few days and would not be able to confirm a time/date to provide service. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. I understand staffing issues, yet the cavalier attitude of the company representative was offensive. MaidPro made a commitment and then reneged. They did not offer alternative services - it is a holiday weekend - I "secured" their service weeks ago so I could plan a birthday party for the family patriarch. So very disappointed!!! read more

Maid Pro of freehold quoted me a ridiculous price of $135.00 just for a basic cleaning----dusting, cleaning the toilets of a half bath, and vacuuming a living room, family room and dining room and wiping down the cabinets of a kitchen. Anything that was wiped off still had a film on it, the dust was still everywhere---nothing was thoroughly done---and the maid left before she finished the job. I had to tell her the toilet was not cleaned. When I called the owner of the place he had the audacity to tell me that some toilets need acid to be cleaned! All the toilet needed was a brush to be taken to it---it did not even need bleach. Then even worse, I told him it was obviously a new person he sent and he said no, she is one of their best. Wrong Answer! She couldn't even do a compete vacuuming job. And all this to charge someone $135! read more

I've seen a lot of bad reviews of MaidPro of Freehold, and I have to say it doesn't make sense. Whenever they clean my father's house they seem to do a great job. The bathrooms are scrubbed, everything in the kitchen is clean, especially the counters, floors and stove. When I asked them to please vacuum under the beds and furniture, and the cleaner showed me that she had already done it. As long as they keep the good service coming, they will keep working here! read more

The service provided one girl to clean house. She spent 2 1/2hours cleaning bedroom and full bath. (Talking on the phone the whole time!). After she left I noticed that there was still dust on the nightstand beside my bed, on the dresser in the foyer, and on the electronic equipment in entertainment center!...also windowsills were not cleaned. She complained of chestpains, and I spoke to manager Michael about sending a girl to finish, he convinced her to stay and finish. She left about 40 minutes later and none of the checkpoints for the kitchen or living room were completed.....I called Mike today to give him an opertunity to send another girl to finish and never heard back from him..0stars read more

I agree with you Gigi.... I worked for them less than 1 week. Out of the $135.00 they charged you, they only give the cleaning lady $10.00 per hour. They keep the rest. That is probably why you got a "shabby job" My personal advice to you would be to get a PRIVATE cleaning lady and pay her $20.00 per hour, and you wouldn't have this problem and you would save yourself $60.00 - 70.00. I've only used two maid services and this one was by far the worst. They quoted my husband $250 for a deep cleaning, needless to say I was expecting a very clean house. Might I add my house is about 1700 square feet. Two women were here for just about two hours. They dusted some fixtures and cleaned my floors. That was about it..... this place is a complete ripoff. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Do NOT use this company. They barely did anything while they were in my home, but they did break my doorknob, steal my cleaning products, and my house key. The did a decent job on the bathroom, but did not vaccuum any rooms, nor did they dust a thing. I reached out to them multiple times giving them an opportunity to rectify the issue, which they ignored, but they had no problem cashing my check right away. So to anyone reading this, do yourself a favor and call a different company. read more

I used Maidpro a couple of times last year and they were good, but only because Jesse was great. I needed to find someone this year to fill in for my regular cleaning girl who was away for a couple of months. So I called Maidpro again. HUGE MISTAKE!!!! They sent me 2 young girls who were more interested in chatting in Spanish that doing actual work. And who wants someone walking around their house in their bare feet? However the best came when one of the girls complained about having to move a cloth runner from my dining room table to dust underneath. "There's a lot of stuff on top of it." Seriously??? That's what you're being paid to do and I moved everything for her anyhow. She was lazy, careless and had an attitude, which I didn't appreciate. And they damaged several areas of my walls with the vacuum cleaner and it was necessary to paint over it. I wasn't going to look at black marks as a reminder of how unpleasant the entire experience was. And then I reached out to Michael and the office a few times via email and there was no response. I'm quite sure they can read their email, even on a Saturday. And I can't wait until I see what they will have the nerve to charge my AMEX card, because truth be told...THEY SHOULD PAY ME! Simply put....lousy service and the customer service level is non-existent. Use someone else or do it yourself. Just not worth the aggravation. The cleaning I received was horrible. There were 2 girls, Rosa and Heather. Rosa cleaned the kitchen and did a fantastic job while Heather cleaned the rest of the house, and spent time on her phone - in the same amount of time Rosa cleaned just the kitchen. They were out of my house in an hour and 15 minutes. After they left, I went around the house to find nothing in the dining room was dusted. I had specifically asked for the blinds to be done in each room, only the ones in the kitchen were acceptable. I called the office and spoke to Mike who said he would send them back. He was only able to get in touch with Rosa, not a surprise since Heather was in such a rush to get out. Rosa came back and basically did everything Heather didn't do. She left my house after 6pm. I felt bad for Rosa. I could tell she was a hard worker and did things right. She says she gets rushed by the other girls and they get mad if she takes her time. She mentioned her kids were with a babysitter, which I'm sure she had to pay extra because she was late getting home having to come back and redo a job Heather was incapable of doing. I even questioned Heather as they were leaving saying they were quick. She said she has been cleaning houses for 5 years and knows how to do it and that my house wasn't that dirty. She said she had cleaned 3 other houses that day before mine. I was given a 9-1 arrival time. They arrived at 3pm. I was contacted to say they were running late due to short staffing that day. I don't mind if they are running behind, but don't come and do a quick run through on my house because you want to get out of there. On the way out she actually asked if I would be getting another cleaning. There is no way I would pay for her to come back and clean my house again. I definitely did not get the cleaning I was expecting. I also did not receive a call to see if I was satisfied after the second cleaning. In my opinion, that is poor customer service and tells me they don't really care about the customer. At this point, I will not use MaidPro again and will not be recommending them to anyone. read more

I gave these people two shots. The first time they cleaned I paid for a 3 hour cleaning, and the maids who came shorted me a third of that time. It took repeated calls to get them back the next day, having to wait for them to come by again. The job they ended up doing was passable at best. The second duo of maids that came along were just completely god-awful. They loudly complained about the work they were doing while I was in the very next room, and accomplished in an hour with two of them less than I would have in fifteen minutes. They wiped down the counter, rush-vacuumed the floors (not even moving a wheeled walker I had sitting out to get under it) and did a poor job on the bathroom they were complaining so much about, and ended up taking my remaining trash bags with them. No offer of compensation was made when I called back to complain and stop any further scheduling. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more
