I don't know anything about this process, but I trust these guys did a great job. The workers came in a timely manner, stayed working under my house for about 3 days. I could hear them laughing and enjoying their work. Great guys, good attitudes and worked hard. Took pictures, I forgot to save. But they drilled and put push piers in and used something to shoot into the cracks like a steel cement. They had affordable pricing and as far as I know did a great job to stabilize. Long overdue review for Landen!!…read more I am so grateful we found Villegas Flooring to replace the floors in our home. We recently purchased a beautiful townhome with ugly-af ceramic tile flooring lol. Not only was the tile dingy and outdated, but it was damaged and patched in random places, and we felt it just had to go. Once my wife and I decided to pull the trigger, I initiated a New Project via Yelp. Amongst 5 vendors scouted by Yelp, Villegas Flooring was the first to respond. Landen, Villegas Flooring owner and operator, was prompt to bid for the job and offered to meet the very next day to prepare a free estimate. Upon visiting our home, Landen took brief measurements and acknowledged the ideas we had in mind, while offering his professional insight. He had us rest assured that what we wanted was possible within a certain time frame, and even offered to make a list of the items we'd need to complete the job. This was a big help & definitely highlighted his desire to execute on customer service. To our satisfaction, demo and haul away of the old tiles, plus waterproofing was not a significant increase. Landen offered to waterproof for free, in fact, we just needed to supply the membrane. To save on cost, my wife had the idea for us to demo, but since Landen's quote came back INSANELY LOW, we decided to have them take care of the floors from start to finish. ... And let me tell you about the total cost!!! Not even kidding, Villegas Flooring was LESS THAN HALF of the other guys' prices OUT THE DOOR. Also, there were companies that were sourced from our Yelp Project that 1) didn't even reply, and 2) threw the job to another company. Weird. Anyways, we benefited off their decline because Landen & his family came to save the day. I hit a roadblock while on the search for the tiles I initially wanted. During my hunt, Landen provided other names of companies I could reach out to. He was really, super helpful. I ended up changing the pick of tile to make matters easier since all stores were out of stock. A beautiful 12" x 24" porcelain tile is what I eventually decided on, and Landen confirmed he'd install those at no extra charge. I made note of this because another company told me I'd have to pay more if I chose porcelain over ceramic tiles. All the material and tiles were purchase by us, but Landen even offered to go on the shopping spree and pick up as needed too. For real, incredible service!!! I just wanted to mention this as well since the other guys we received quotes from were CRAZY expensive (I'm talking $7k-10k more) AND they did not offer to assist in any other way besides demo and install. To say we were pleased with our decision is an understatement. I recall my wife and I feeling so blessed that we found a company that was not there to price gouge, but willing to offer support in our efforts to bring a nice facelift to our property! With that said, we absolutely LOVE our home now. It actually feels like ours! Just 3.5 days later, Landen had our 3 full bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room floors refinished. From the first site visit to the final walkthrough, everything was seamless. William managed this project very well and guided us through this process with ease. At any point if we had questions he was quick to respond. The showroom they have is great and the experience of setting your preferences on design and materials is quite enjoyable. The only hiccup we encountered is that the supplier of the original tile that had been selected did not come in the size we needed and so it wouldn't have meshed well with the current tile in the living room. William helped us find a suitable alternative and we were able to pivot and are very pleased with the outcome. There were a couple of adjustments during the project but again related to the tile, we changed the direction of the placement which allows for us to replace the remaining tile in the house in the future if we decided to do so. William and team thinking ahead with our needs in mind really provided a sense of care. To top it all off, we wanted this build done ASAP and the team was able to complete the remodel in 8 days compared to their estimate of 10 - 14. My renovation consisted of a full kitchen & bathroom remodel, with tub to shower conversion. I contacted a few companies and received various quotes, some of which required me to travel to various showrooms to select materials which as a first time home renovator, seemed overwhelming. However, when I was contacted by William, he informed me he had previously done renovations in my building and was very familiar with how the management office worked, water shut off, elevator reservations, etc. MY Construction's showroom had all materials/samples in one place where I could put everything together and get a visual idea; he also had tons of photos of examples on his phone to show me. Can't say enough amazing things about William and his crew, not only did he keep me updated daily, but he also handled so many of the nuance tasks on his own, making sure I wasn't distracted at work or taking on any unnecessary stress during the project. (He even dealt with a cranky tenant who had been accidentally double booked by management for the elevator as well as installing all of the new appliances!) The communication couldn't have been better. On to the finished reno; it's truly everything I wanted and more! I am currently renting the apartment to a friend and he's had no issues with any leaks, appliance function, and he's also commented how stunning the renovation turned out! The results exceeded my expectations. Sean, the technician, was professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. He explained the process, answered my questions, and carefully prepared and protected the surrounding areas before starting. Although the project was scheduled for two days, Sean completed it in one day without sacrificing quality. The finished shower looks brand new. The finish is smooth and glossy, and the entire space feels brighter, cleaner, and more modern. Excellent communication, fair pricing, and outstanding workmanship. He asked me questions before he did things like if it was ok to remove our bathroom vent and use a bedroom window for his ventilation equipment. He asked if we planned to keep our fixtures. He answered any questions or concerns I had and was very mindful of protecting our floors and walls. When he was done, he opened my bathroom door and it was like a tv show doing an unveiling LOL. It looks like a whole new tub and walls. This changed the whole look of my bathroom and Ira's work went completely over my expectations!
