I shipped all my holiday gifts from there this season. The tall guy, I believe his name is Mike. Was excellent, he was patient, knowledgeable, help me find the correct packaging, and got the best rate to ship. They take great care of their customers. It's really is the best place to ship in Charlottesville!

I have had two experiences with Fedex in the last 2 years, and both have been pretty sad…read more Deliveries were both late, and both were left in a very inconvienietn place for me to pickup. I live in a 3 story apartment with no elevators sadly, and both things I ordered were not available in person, and both weighed over 40 lbs. I live alone and do not have help, and so despite the items being delivered to my apartment building, they were not brought up the stairs and to my door. There was not an option to write down delivery instructions, and so I had to lug these very heavy items up two flights of stairs by myself. The first delivery I saw them deliver the item. There were two employees and they propped it up against the wall and walked off. I hurried down the stairs and asked if they could please help me get it up, and they looked at me, ignored me and got back in their truck and left. This was about a year ago. The second delivery happened today. It was 2 days late, and arrived while I was at work. It said delivered and there was proof but no picture until I got home and saw it propped up against the wall like the first one. I am injured in the leg, and it took me 30 minutes to get this 60 lb box up both flights of stairs because I was alone. 30 minutes up maybe 65 steps. Something your employees could have done in 2 minutes but chose to be lazy and unprofessional. I may be wrong here, but I feel a delivery persons job is to deliver, regardless of the location. If it's 10 flights of stairs, you do it because you signed up to deliver. It's your literal job. I don't work in delivery because I know I am not fit enough to do it well. Delivery drivers should not be allowed to do the bare minimum because "the stairs look too hard", "theres no elevator", or " it's too hot". It's. your. JOB!I get the unsafe area thing, but if you don't feel safe delivering, don't do the delivery and send the customer a message. Keep it in your truck until you find or get a safe place to deliver it. Fedex allows the bare minimum, and they already have a army of hate from all the other pissed off customers they refuse to listen to. I hope they get buried. Leaving a package not even close to someone's apartment door is just pure laziness. there is no value in this company. They don't care about us and making our lives easier, so we shouldn't care about them either. UPS and USPS aren't perfect but at least they ALWAYS deliver to my door. Always. Fedex, has NEVER.

I spoke to an associate on the phone who assured me they could do the custom size I needed and print within the time frame I needed. I went into the store to complete the order, and an associate told me I would be helped personally. They left and didn't come back to help for 15 minutes, and when I got them back to help, they then told me they could not print the custom size I needed. Then I waited another 15 minutes for the associate to come back, and finally, a second associate came back and told me the size I needed would have to be sent to their other facility to be printed and would not be ready in time. I ended up leaving after wasting 30 minutes and my chances at getting this poster printed within business hours at another store. Very disappointed and will be taking my services elsewhere from now on, and spreading the word on their associate's lack of knowledge on their own services.

Repeatedly i've ordered with a specific paper weight because I use it for an art process where the paper weight is important. They ran out of paper and didn't even bother to tell me and it's happened the past 4 times i've ordered from them and they refuse to fix it bc apparently they've been out of paper for weeks?? how does that happen to a print shop?? and the customer service is also trash and the people don't know what they're doing. Will start ordering from anywhere else bc yall suck
