I was particularly excited for this one and even more so when I saw it was arriving two days early. I saw it was marked as delivered and RAN to the mailbox to grab it only not to find it there. I rechecked the tracking and saw an alert "insufficient address" and that it was returned. I was a dope and forgot to put my apt number. I immediately hopped on with customer care in hopes of intercepting it before it actually was returned. The super helpful rep-Rita, put in a service request to hold it for pickup and I was notified by email that I'd receive a response. A weekend and two business days later. Crickets. I called customer care back and was told that it was being held at this post office. Shortly after, I got a call from Lashawna and was told that it had already been returned. I was sad but resigned myself to reorder. Ten minutes later, she called back to tell me that she checked another spot and that it was there! She didn't have to check again and she DEFINITELY didn't have to call me back. They process thousands if not millions of parcels a day. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Sheila who was an absolute delight. I was in and out in less than five minutes. I know most reviews about post offices tend to be negative, so I had to share how these awesome ladies went above and beyond to get me my package even after I made a silly mistake. I've called at least 20 times over several days, and no one answers the phone. Even my local postmaster has emailed them numerous times and hasn't received a response. It's unbelievable that a facility can operate like this with seemingly zero accountability. Packages sit there with no updates, customers can't get answers, and even other USPS employees can't get a response. Absolutely insane that this level of neglect is allowed to continue. The people running this center are completely useless and incompetent.
