Rented a beautiful pontoon boat for a week on Lake Wawasee in Syracuse Indiana. We loved every minute of our time out on the water!

Me and my friend were coming in to get a part for his dad and as we're about to leave and employee comes out ask my age I say 15 and he says I cannot legally drive the boat I'm driving and I told him I talked to the DNR and I have the OK And overall the employee was not Knowledgeable about the laws. If you look it up, it says 15 years of age. read more

We rented a 20 foot, 10 passenger Pontoon boat from MCM today. I couldn't be happier with the experience. I called twice before heading over to rent the boat. Each time, Becca answered my questions in a patient and friendly way. Similarly, Becca's deckhands explained the boat and its controls to me and welcomed us with big smiles upon our return. It's been 15 years since we last vacationed on Wawasee and this crew made us feel welcomed and treated us quite fairly. I highly recommend Main Channel Marina's Rental department! read more

Great service, great people, and quality inventory. On a very busy weekend we suddenly had a problem with our boat. It needed a repair that could only be done in their shop but the technician created a solution the got us through the rest of the summer and back on the lake within an hour. read more

My experience with Main Channel was terrible! I purchased a used a boat through MCM on September 26, 2020. I am completely happy with the boat BUT as of today February 10th 2021, I still do not have the registration for the vessel, without this I cannot license or legally operate the boat. I will not go into every detail of the deal but Main Channel Marina TOTALLY dropped the ball on this one. Good place to buy a boat. Very good inventory. Service, not so much. Attitude during boat pick up in the Spring was not good. They were late to have the boat ready and of course it was not their fault. I should have called first! Of course this would not have made the boat ready, they just would not have to tell me in person. If people at a business look unhappy-run. My boat storage business has gone elsewhere. read more

We reserved a boat for our 2 day stay at the Oakwood Resort. Unfortunately there was a mix up with our reservation and it was double booked for our second day. Brook and the other staff at Main Channel completely exceeded our expectations for customer service to ensure we still had an enjoyable getaway. I had been emailing back and forth with Chad about a used pontoon. I set up an appointment to meet him on Saturday. I went in and he was busy with another customer (no big deal since we didn't set a time anyway). The other salesman said he could help me. I told him I was there to see the used 14' pontoon. He insisted there were no used 14' pontoons. He then looked and said you mean the 15' one (in reality it is 14'). Again not a huge deal. He then told Chad we'd be out looking at it and as we passed a brand new one he tapped it and said you should get this one its only a few thousand more. We started to walk outside and I asked him if it was over $10k more and he said yes. The boat he tapped was about $20k and the one I was wanting to look at was $6500. I asked him if more than $10k was a few to him and he said it was all a matter of perspective. I was not happy at this point. He was up selling me already by more than 3x the price of the boat I wanted to look at. I explained to him I felt he was being rude and he said get in the golf cart and we will go look at it. I said no thanks (not that politely I might add--sometimes I get over worked up I know) and left. He wished me a good day and said he was sorry if he upset me. Any dealer who thinks $10k+ is not a big deal tells me I want nothing to do with them in negotiations. read more

Went here for a short 30-minute Pantoon rental on Lake Wawasee. I believe it was September 10th, 2015 in the afternoon. I wish I asked for the name of the guy who checked us out for the rental because he was awesome. Very clear on instructions on how to properly handle the Pantoon. My mom also isn't the easiest customer to handle but he showed a lot of patience and even covered our gas, which I really appreciated. We also got a good extra 20 minutes on the thing. Everything went smoothly, and it was definitely an experience I enjoyed and will be going back to if we are ever in the area again. Great service, a lot of fun, 5 stars! read more

My wife and I purchased a 20ft Bennington Pontoon boat from Main Channel Marina in November 2020 and couldn't be happier... We had just purchased a house on Geist Reservoir and this was our 1st boat. The sales representative, Chip Snyder, was very patient with us and walked us through the whole process, including taking the time to educate us on all the aspects of the boat and then how to properly operate it. The test drive was a blast and the final sales price was right in our price range. Main Channel even offered to store (and winterize) the boat for the winter and then deliver it to us in April, 2021. When they delivered it, the representative re-educated us on the boat and then launched us... We were very pleased with the price and service on the boat and how this establishment took the time to to make our 1st boat experience a memorable one..... We would highly recommend Main Channel Marina to anyone looking for a great boat at a very competitive price. read more

These worst customer service! We bought two brand new sea doos last year and their service and customer service is awful!!! Would never ever buy from them again! Go to Wawasee Boat company before going to main channel! We are in the market for a Bennington pontoon and would never even think of going to main channel for another thing! read more
