My older son had Joey Dion in 2017 and he was fabulous, he had the dance floor rocking all night long. Fast foward to March 30, 2025 my youngest son had Kibar who also was great, he had the dance floor rocking all night long. It's a shame it was over so quickly. I would definitely recommend these two from the Main Event. Keep in mind they have different tiers of DJs and you basically get what you pay for so if you want a good DJ you hire the highest tier. Our wedding officiant, Sherry Farrell, immediately felt like someone that we had known our entire lives and did such a beautiful job with the ceremony. We had considered writing our own vows, but were so pleased with the beautiful words that she wrote, that we felt it captured our feelings perfectly! As an added bonus, she was also able to help us with our marriage license as she is also the Londonderry, NH town clerk. Our DJ, Tyler Campbell, was incredible. He worked with us to craft the perfect playlist for both our ceremony and reception and kept the party going all night long! Both Sherry and Tyler gave us their personal contact information and were available at any time, day or night, if we needed to contact them for any changes that we thought of after our initial conversations. Main Event DJs is an AWESOME company! We recently hired them, specifically Joey, for our wedding in September 2025. From start to finish, Joey and his staff were fantastic. The initial meet and greet at their office in Londonderry was unique and really gave us a chance to meet a bunch of the different DJs and figure out who was a good fit for us. From there, we picked Joey and he made things easy for us. He is extremely organized, pays a ton of attention to detail, and asks all the right questions to make sure he gave us the best day possible at our wedding. Many of our guests raved about Joey as our DJ and we had a blast with him. His energy level was awesome, he got people out on the dance floor, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better person to DJ our wedding. My wife and I got married on October 14, 2023. DJ Dan Pelletier was a fantastic wedding DJ! He made the dancing at our wedding night extremely fun and memorable for everyone. My wife and I had a fantastic time on the dancefloor thanks to DJ Dan's musical choices and our guests are still reminiscing on what a fun time the dancing was. He let us have some "must-have requests" and played some guests requests. Dan also did a great job keeping our timeline on track, directing guests, and general wedding logistics. Andrea provided live music for the ceremony and it was so beautiful and set the mood for wedding...there was not a dry eye in the crowd! DJ Mike kept the party going all night. We had DJ Jason Cumming and he was absolutely amazing. The DJ was my husbands only priority. He said that was the only thing he wanted that had to be perfect. Main event has "tiers" that they have certain Dj's in each tier based off how long they've been with the company, & due to financial reasons we went with the LOWEST tier... (which stressed my husband out even more lol) but we found a true diamond in the haystack! (Although I cant speak for the other DJ's in that tier because I've never seen them work). But we seriously would've paid top dollar for him!!! He honored my late father beautifully. He kept us on a TIGHT schedule at the beginning of the reception to make sure we could let loose and have fun by the end... we all know how the "hellos" and "let's take a picture" can be. But he stood there with us, told us what to do and when to do it, and by the end of the night we did what we had to do and we just had FUN!!!!! I think everyone in the whole room was dancing at once point. There was NEVER a moment where the adults weren't in the dancefloor. This DJ is a perfectionist. He made sure he got all the names right for the introductions, he practiced the timing to the best of the music so it sounded great, and his transitions from song to song were PERFECT. music ALL NIGHT LONG. read more

I didn't feel the amount paid for the service was worth what we received in service both before or on the day of our wedding. We chose to go with Main Event through recommendation of another vendor and we paid the additional costs thinking we would get a flawless experience. It was not flawless. We had a "misunderstanding" about the uplighting, we did not have the correct song played for our bridal party introduction etc. Honestly I would have gone with a local DJ for 1/2 the price and had the same or better experience. read more

Mike was an amazing DJ! He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and was the best. He did everything we asked for and more. He was there for us throughout the night and was such an amazing support. He was fun, knowledgeable, and so down to earth. We felt almost as if a friend was up there the whole night. Even before the wedding, he would reach out to us and talk to make sure we were all set. We knew having our wedding during the Pandemic that there might be some unexpected things happen that were going to be out of our control. We received a call the morning of our wedding informing us that the DJ we booked was under quarantine due to be exposed and that they were going to send a replacement. Will Smith was our DJ that night. We had never met him of course and when he arrived he did not bother to find us to introduce himself or ask any questions about what we might want. Other than introducing the wedding party and first/last dances, we might as well have played our own music and saved $1200. He refused to take most peoples requests and acted like he did not want to be there (which may have been the case). The owner of Main Event when told of the issue was not at all apologetic. We travelled from San Diego to New Hampshire for my nephew's wedding and it was a lot of fun. The DJ, Dave Nadeau, was hands down, the best wedding DJ we've ever been a party to. Even for a relatively small wedding reception, the dance floor was packed all night because every song was too good to take a break. We used main event at our wedding for uplighting, photo booth and DJ. DJ Kibar was excellent. He has a great personality and really knows how to get the crowd involved. He also was very professional and easy to get in touch with during the planning. The uplighting looked great and everyone loved the photobooth. Not only was the service and products great the prices were very reasonable. They also give you discounts if you package different services together which helped with the price even more. I hired Main Event for two things at my wedding this past weekend. First, I hired Jon Mermer to be my DJ. AMAZING!!! He was exactly what we were looking for. We gave him a bit of direction and he ran with it. He played the songs we liked and had the whole dance floor full for the majority of the night. He even came out and danced with us. Such a fun and exciting atmosphere. He was great on the mic and a ton of our guests commented how great he was. Thanks Jon for making our evening so great! We also hired them to do a photo booth. Got the props through them directly and signed up for the memory book. Everyone LOVED this part. I think every guest visited at least once - even my 80 year old uncle!
