Keeping the old tags also made transferring EZPass impossible, which would have been nice to be warned about. So, February 2024 rolls around, no plate, call up Best Tags, "not their problem", call up PennDOT, after an hour bouncing around PennDOT, they indicate need to look something up based off the receipt. Call Best Tags again, they said they'd look into it. About two weeks later a brand new tag shows up in our mailbox in a manila envelope, with a registration date effective... February 2024. Something fell through the cracks, no explanation, no apology. As other commenters have noted, there are lots of places to get routine official transactions done at fixed market pricing, why go to a place which will give problems ?

Now the Paoli branch doesn't pick up when I call and I have left voicemails on Chris's phone. I will continue to leave a daily review across all platforms in desperate hopes that someone will actually contact me and tell me what is going on. It has been 5 MONTHS since I filed with you all and I have nothing to show for it. I have no title for my car and no registration.

I told him I'd rather not file a complaint, he challenged me to. So, I contacted Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State Beaurau of Professional and Occupational Affairs, and filed a complaint (CP_20_007716). Sometimes the scanning of each item works, but in my experience, it often does not and the clerk reviews the return to check off the items manually. At this location, the clerk scanned the first item, but the second didn't go through. He said it wasn't on the return, and I said, "Oh, all of them should be on there." From there, he started yelling at me, to the point that I had to ask him, "Why are you speaking to me this way?" more than once. He was yelling that if he took the items, I wouldn't get the refund for them. I tried to explain that this was a common occurrence and that there was a way to review all of the items on the return, but he would not listen at all. I said that I would just take them somewhere else to return them, and he continued to harass me until I walked out the door. It was like he went from 0 to 100 over truly a very small issue, and I will never go back to this location because of it. By the way, I went to another location down the street, and no issue at all doing the return for all of my items.
