Would give 0 out of 5 if possible. Was overseas but home for 3rd delivery. I was not even phoned about it though I saw van. Driver left in a hurry. They returned my packages to sender. Doreen assured me it would be sent the next day then told me she did not know where package was! Driver didn't even come up to my apartment unit saying it's my complex rule which is not true. Really great team of employees here. They are friendly, helpful, and efficient with all shipping needs, even when you can tell they're very busy (with packages stacked to the sky). My only complaint is with UPS corporate making it hard / expensive to print documents. USB devices are the cheapest path, but that's so 2012! UPS charges a fortune to email documents to print or print from their PC. I recommend the FedEx on Lancaster for all printing needs. read more

What an absolutely horrible horrible experience with the UPS store in Wayne. I shipped a package and paid $65 for overnight shipping. The package never came and when I went back to the UPS store, a very very rude lady told me she couldn't guarantee me anything as far as getting my package back. She was rude and she was unhelpful s and unprofessional and this isn't the first time I've experienced an issue with the store. It will be the last time I ever use them again. read more

This has to be the most painful experience in my week. The people that work there are indifferent, slow, unmotivated, and rude. Once an employee wore a shirt that read "I don't give a sh*t" which I am pretty sure is agains t dress code. Haha. His shirt was correct, he clearly didn't care and said multiple times to his co worker that he hated working there. Do not waste your energy here. The apathy is heavy and you'll be in line while your cashier is distracted on their phone, talking to other employees, or complaining about their job. Never again. This is the first and last time I will use this location. My first bad experience happened when I pulled up the side of the building around 4pm to find a driver loading his truck, blocking the way to the lot. He waved that I had to go back. So i had to reverse down the whole length of the building. Why do their drivers not have a dedicated spot to load up? While he was loading his truck, I held the door open for this driver a few times, as I had over 10 boxes and needed a few trips. NOT once did he say thank you! I approached the front desk with a hand truck full of boxes (with another load still in my car). No greeting from Stephanie, just "Wait! those are FEDEX". I explained that they were old and I had Amazon return codes. I showed her my first code, and she barely looked at it and said these all have to be in one box! I asked her why because it had the one code for three items, and she said she didn't know, but I had to take it up with Amazon. So I moved away, along with all my boxes, since the front customer door and line area is where the driver has to pass multiple times to load his truck. Maybe not his fault but really not efficient. I stood there for almost two hours working through Amazon and my boxes and bringing in my other boxes, never once being offered any help or even to hold the door. I did get to listen to Stephanie and Ryan talk about how they don't like when customers come in at the last minute at the end of the day, or when they sit in their car for a half hour before they come in and come in at the end of the day with a large order. I also witnessed Stephanie not being able to help a customer who had to move to two registers in order to get help and she clearly stated how she did not know how to do whatever it was he needed. She was not kind in any of this talk or discussion. After an hour and a half I figured some things out and asked Ryan G. for his help and he was very kind and helped. I also have to point out that my boss called the UPS store earlier to try to get some clarification on what was going on and Stephanie was rude and short with her! i heard her repeat what happened between us and it was not what happened. Ryan, however, was very kind on the phone to my boss. After awhile Stephanie Was gone and Ryan took care of everything on his own quite nicely. I always go to the Newtown Square UPS and get the best service ever! I would have been worth the drive to go there! So, this rating is for Stephanie, and and for the overall experience, it is not for RYAN. I would give Ryan G. 4 stars. read more

WOW - talk about the height of superior customer service! Monique Boggs is bright, warm, energetic and efficient- she takes her job seriously and knows what it is to provide exceptional customer service. I've been to the Wayne location more than once and she always does the best that she can do (and it sure can't be easy during the holiday season with lines out the door and the pressure that must come with that.) I hope that UPS is able to retain her and is compensating her as she deserves. It's rare to find someone like Monique, and too many companies don't value and recognize the talent that they have - particularly in a time where so many people would rather not work, show up, or do the best that they can do. Asked manager to process my packages as I stood in the doorway as I'm Immuno-compromised but had nobody else to ship my Xmas gifts. She didn't like my attitude and therefore quoted me a price $20 higher than it should have been and told me to shop elsewhere. I did. I don't want to write a lengthy review, but I'll be somewhat descriptive. I've long used this store. It keeps two stars because it used to be good. I've had a box for a long time here, never any issues. I didn't need to always include a box number and they'd sort it like every other store I have a box at does. Fantastic! Unfortunately, starting in December, I stopped getting mail and packages. From insurance docs to clients, nothing came through. I got notifications and emails. As I was away for a time I used this as a mail solution for government notifications as well. Nothing came through. I called multiple times to be told that they would never send my mail back, and that the USPS driver must not be delivering it. I opened a week long case with USPS. They launched an investigation which found nothing but instructed the driver to always deliver my mail. Mail still got sent back to sender. I called again, they say they would not do it. I call another time, finally I get an honest answer from a very curt woman. Conversation went roughly like this (for wording I don't perfectly recall, I'm erring on the side of civility): "Oh, we've been sending it back all this time because no box number." "But it's never been like this before. No store stopped randomly. It's never been an issue." "Yes but we have new hires who haven't been taught yet to sort it." "Isn't that part of the training?" "We're training them to send anything without a box number back." "But that's not policy?" "Right but they haven't been trained." "Why not? If it's policy?" "Because we're training them to send them back." "But if it's policy shouldn't they be trained according to it?" At this point she was getting beyond agitated. Before the attitude was she just didn't care, but here she now is mad. I'm not trying to tell anyone how to do their job, but the lines I'm getting are clearly contradictory. I tried to clarify multiple times in case I was not understanding, but no, they're training them against policy... "can we going forward make sure my mail doesn't get sent back? I'm not sure how it works but with a note on my box or otherwise?" (Keep in mind here the other gentleman I spoke to said there was a note on my box already). In a sass tone back: "can you make sure you're box number is on your mail?" The majority of it is. On some occasions, it's not possible to put a box number, or a client won't include it. There shouldn't be an issue. At this point I just responded "yes, where possible, I will. Thanks." I call back the next morning and speak to the gentleman again who says he's going to talk to the staff to make sure it doesn't happen again. He also would put a new note on my box to make it extra clear. Good guy. Respectful. That was fine and done. What has me writing this review today is this: I call 3 times with rings for over 2-5min depending. The third time I get an answer 30sec in. I ask: "hi! I have box ###, can you let me know if I got a letter? It's rather important." Delay. It's the same woman as before... "you're gonna have to call back later." "How come?" "Cause I can't do it now." "When should I call back?" "Call later." "Okay, I will, thanks..." Called back twice in the last 30 minutes letting it ring for the ~3min before it puts me to voicemail. No answer. And usually if the store is busy I can hear the background noise. Nope, nothing. Just silence. She could've at least said she's busy can you please call back in a bit? Something nice. But nope. After a positive experience in the past with having UPS print copies for me, I ran in on a Saturday to have a few pages printed in color. I had my document saved on a flash drive in a word document that printed with no difficulty at home. The lady helping me had to take my drive to the computer in the back to print my document. When she returned to ring me out at the register, my document was printed portrait instead of landscape. When I mentioned it was incorrect and the document should have printed landscape, she told me it wouldn't work that way and I would have to take it home and reformat it. I was then charged over $8 for 20 color copies that I am now going to be throwing in the recycling bin. When I questioned the charge, all I got was "sorry". If I didn't have 2 fussy kids waiting with my mom in the car, I would have stayed and disputed the charge more. What I find most frustrating is I didn't even get to see a "test page" before the whole job was completed and I was then expected to pay for 20 incorrect pages. read more

I spelled my street for him--because EVERYONE misspells it--and he got nasty and snapped at me that he "knows how to spell." I took my package and will send it FedEx. NEVER again. read more

Review based on two visits: First visit I shipped a 1lb shirt from Wayne PA to Nevada in a padded envelope. There was nothing special about the package, nor was it over sized and had no insurance. The cost was $13.00. USPS down the road charged $6.95. I should have gone there. Second visit I needed to ship a package that was to be insured for $500.00. It was an electronic part that needed to arrive in pristine condition, so I wrapped it in paper. Wrapped a box around the item then placed the item in a another box on top of more paper then padded each side of the item with a plastic air pillow and covered the entire thing with more paper as to reduce package shift. I actually have pictures of this since I am kind of like the Anal Retentive Chef when it comes to packaging. Off to the UPS store I go. The second I mentioned insurance the guy behind the counter goes in for the kill. "Well we should open your package to make sure that it is secured correctly and that it won't break" 'No I do not think that is necessary" I say, as he cuts through the much needed label and rips the top open. He then pulls the entire contents out proclaiming that this is by no means packaged correctly, thus hoping to seal the upsell that he is no doubt banking on. To confirm this he asks his compatriot what she thinks and she too agrees the package needs exactly 2 inches to ensure the "Heavy Machinery will not crush it". She is so certain of this that she points out a now exposed part and says "Especially that right there that part is particularly susceptible to the "heavy machinery". I try in vain to point out that this part was once covered by an air pillow created to ship products in safety, but she has none of it. She reiterates that "Heavy Machinery" will have its way with my package and UPS will not take the claim if broken. I tried once again to point out that everything was covered seconds ago, but it's now...well... all over the counter, so perhaps if it wasn't opened in the first place it would not get crushed, but salesman of the year has stepped back in and has a very simple fix. "Let's just go ahead and throw that boxed item into another box!" Genius I think. Let's make this a box, in a box in a BOX! Effectively creating the worlds most drab Matryoshka doll, but nonetheless a safe insurable package that no "heavy machinery" could ever destroy. So I ask "How much is that box and extra packing?" He replies "$18.91 for a 15x15x6 box and a bit of packing, but not to worry I can tape it up again for you!" I silently gather my items all the while thinking "For a BOX?!?! A piece of cardboard.......that I don't even get to keep? I give them 18 bucks, they then pack my two other boxes inside of it and ship it away to have some "heavy machinery" kick it across America? Are you kidding me?!" Doing some quick math I estimate the total for this transaction to be nearly sixty dollars to ship all said and done. I storm out of the store only to be asked just as I get to the door "Would you like that box and packing sir?". TL;DR Avoid unless you hate your bank account. read more
