I can't give more than one star. I recently took my dog to Blakes Tiver Road Veterinary Centre for a consultation. During the appointment, the vet diagnosed a stomach upset and administered an injection, which I was told was for pain relief. However, after checking online, I discovered it was actually intended to stop vomiting.
Shortly after returning home, my dog began showing discomfort in his arm joints -- an issue that wasn't addressed during the visit. I contacted the clinic for advice and was told someone would follow up, but I never received a call. When I returned in person, I was informed I'd need to pay for another consultation, on top of the A$120 I had already paid, just to get a proper diagnostic evaluation.
I asked to speak with the vet or a manager but was told the front desk assistant was the manager. I'm disappointed by the lack of follow-up, poor communication, and what feels like a costly oversight that could seriously affect my dog's health.
I would have appreciated more thorough care and better customer service to ensure my dog's concerns were properly addressed. read more
