So far, so good. It's slightly pricey for a small amount. I paid $6 and some change for the green smoothie (which I was able to customize--it comes with FOUR BANANAS OMG too sweet for my liking!). I think that was just a 12 oz :/. She was able to cut half the amount of calories (ask for it to be elevated) and added espresso and spinach for me :-) I will come back because I do like the variety and unique things they offer like blue Majik, spirulina, reishi mushrooms...seriously, so cool for Shreveport! I'm a huge fan of Main Squeeze in general and this was my first time coming to this location. Very impressed with the layout and cleanliness of this location. Like the other locations, they have tons of juices available for quick pick-up, acai bowls, and tons of smoothie options. This location also has a drive-through if you're in a hurry! Jada was the only employee working when I came in and she did a wonderful job making me feel like I was noticed and appreciated while also managing the customer in the drive-through who had an insanely large order. I love their smoothies and don't see how anyone could compare them to places like Smoothie King. No added sugars, fillers, or even ice. The Java Nut is personally my favorite. I am a huge fan of this place and go there every week. I always get the Acia bowls but the last 3 times I have gotten them, the acia is still frozen in chunks. Just stopped here for breakfast smoothies and was thoroughly pleased. We got a Classic, PB&J and a MangoJ. The Classic was pretty good and didn't taste like your average strawberry banana smoothie. The PBJ actually tasted like a real PBJ. Super delicious initial taste but that banana after taste i wasn't wild about I got the mango j and it was pretty good. Proportions are off. You get an abundance amount of the base and not enough toppings. Ordered the pitaya bowl. Comes with blueberries, coconut flakes and granola. The bowl was a little too runny for my liking and the proportions were uneven. The pitaya was good. Let me just preface this by saying, I am açaí obsessed - every since my first trip to Hawaii in 2006. One of my fave things in life is to try different açaí places anywhere I travel (yeah..like, super nerdy). I recently moved back here after living all over for the last 20+ years, so I was excited to see a place like this pop up. My husband brought me home an açaí bowl today and I was stoked to finally get to try it. I took one bite and thought to myself, have the owners of this place ever even tasted an açaí bowl before?? Of course, every place you go will have their own twist on it, but this one was literally like nothing I've had. Disgusting. The açaí tasted like Sweet-N-Low or some sort of artificial sweetener and it had a chalky texture. What a waste of $10. I'm so bummed. So, I guess what I'm saying is, if you're looking for a yummy açaí bowl...just bypass this place and head straight to Nektar. Nektar is amazing and one of my best reccos for Açaí bowls, smoothies, and juices...literally everything is delicious at Nektar. (And no, I have no affiliation with Nektar. If there was ever a place I feel great eating out, for myself and my children, THIS IS IT. Quality ingredients, no chemicals, cold-pressed juices. So rare to find a place to eat where the food REALLY IS good for you and nourishes your body. The customer service rocks as well. What are our recommendations, you ask? Well, my favorite cold-pressed juice is 'Awaken.' My kiddos both love their "Classic" smoothie (which aren't ice-based by the way, so no brain-freeze, yay!). Also, their fudge brownies are a MUST try. You would never know they have so many nutritional ingrients in them, including a vitamin blend. So so so good. Unlike EVERY other juice/smoothie location that has opened recently in the Shreveport/Bossier area, Main Squeeze does NOT use powders and fillers. Their only ingredients are fresh, real food. They don't even use ice as a filler! I just tried the Cure Shot, which consists of only lemon juice, ginger, and cayenne. It definitely cleared my sinuses! I've also had the Chocolate Love which was delicious. They even have easy order options called "elevate" (for no additional cost) to decrease the sugar content if that is important to your diet desires.
