Brisket Pulled Pork Smoked Turkey Pork Ribs Hot Links and finally... Smoked Baloney. Potato Salad, White Mac and Cheese, Texas Toast, Pickle and Onion. Everything was smoked perfectly - even the baloney, which surprised both of us eating there - and absolutely tender. The meats aren't dripping in sauce which is often used to moisten a bad cook or to disguise poor flavors. Nope. If you want a saucy meal, it's a "self-inflicted wound" in my books, because you're missing out on some great well cooked meat. We didn't go there for side options, so reviewing them isn't the point. I did not see either a Corn Bread or a Biscuit choice which I would have chosen, but took the usual's just to see how they're done at Rustlers. I'm not a banana for dessert fan, that is, until my dinner guest forced me to have some of Rustlers Banana Pudding. I am now a rabid fan of banana's for dessert. Yes, it's that good. Don't keep whistling down the highway at 80+MPH trying to get somewhere faster than you should. Slow down, stop in, and get some well made BBQ. Sure, you're going to have the "meat sweats" once you've had your fill, but it's all well worth it in the end.

We had to try it! We both had the steaks, my wife having the ribeye and I had the New York strip. We both had the fully loaded sweet potato. I had the salad bar and she had the corn. Everything was incredibly tasty. The owner was very friendly unhelpful and it was fun to read up on the history of the railroad car. If we are ever back in the area, it is definitely on our list of places to visit again.

It provides an unique environment with a folksy vibe. The railroad car does not look as clean and crisp as their web page photo and it's been painted what appears to be a dark burgundy. It was dark and raining so it's hard to say on the color. Inside is cozy and comfortable. It's a neat venue. The menu consists of typical American comfort food, at least for the south. Three of us us ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and fried okra. The outlier ordered fried chicken livers with French fries and fried okra. All four of us were pleased with our meals. The chicken fry was good as were the potatoes and cream gravey. The fried okra was excellent. The chicken livers were excellent and begged for mashed potatoes and cream gravey. The French fries Ken ordered weren't very good. I think they were under cooked. We had a nice, enjoyable dinner. The service was excellent and the prices moderate

This was due to the meat that they claim to be so proud of. The burgers were had were the Reba and the Cherry Coke burgers. All of the components of the burgers were lovely except the beef. I the consensus between my spouse and I was that it had a smell and aftertaste that we likened to bad fish. It made the burgers inedible. The fries and tater tots were great. We both had a single cocktail. Her 'In the garden' gin and tonic was enjoyable. My super fancy Bloody Mary was anything but. It was presented in maybe a 8oz glass that was filled with minced ice. It felt as if I was being blatantly underserved. The extra bits in the fancy bloodly Mary was however, lovely. Our single standout in a positive way was the quail poppers. Those are off the charts yummy. Let's get to the cost. This was 109$ after tax. It was 94$ before. They really tax food and beverage heavy here in Atoka. Would not return unless someone else paid and I would avoid the ground beef at all costs even then.
