Went in for a haircut today, told him a number 2 on the sides and not much off the top just a trim. He chopped the top and took more close to 2 inches off and he didn't cut it even. Plus he was more worried about the phone call he was on then he was cutting hair. This place use to be great but over the past few years has gone down hill. Never again. read more

I just had the worst haircut ive ever had in my life, and I get weekly haircuts. Im new to the neighborhood so I wanted to find a new barber, I cMe here because there were good reviews on Google, bad decision. Barber Hector, asked if I was ready, I told him I wanted a 1.5 fade. And he started buzzing, he was aggressively ramming the clippers on my head and I asked if he was okay, he hushed me because he was on his phone (airpods). Another barber came and started yelling at him and they had a shouting match. Then his call with amazon dropped and he became infuriated. He took off the cape and told me haircut was done, I pointed out a couple flaws (uneven sideburns, fade lines still visible) and he said he cant fix it.. ... isnt that the whole point of a fade? To "fade" the lines? I think I wouldve been better letting stevie wonder cut my hair. Beware of this shop, highly NOT recommended. read more

I took my son's here today for haircuts and they looked great. I needed somebody to fix the awful haircut my son had previously got that day and they took him right away. I didn't even think it was able to look as good as it came out. My kids really liked the barbers and they were extremely nice and professional. They even helped me walk my kids to the car (I'm a single mom of four boys under 4y) and that was so kind. read more

I am a regular here, but this is BS. Granted, it's Jan 2nd, but still. It's 11am and there's only one barber in the shop. There are 7 people waiting, and I've been here for almost an hour. This is totally unacceptable from a management standpoint. Figure it out! read more

So this review is for one particular barber. The others may be better. There were five or six. I walked in today and he was free and asked if I was ready. I said sure and sat down. Even though he didn't look busy, (unless you count chatting on your phone as busy) I had to sit in a chair with big chunks of hair where the feet go. I figured its not a big deal since they cut hair here. I told him what I want and he said ok. We get going and he started with the sides and back of the neck. Either the blade was old or he wasn't very handy with it. I thought he was about to rip my skin off. Later when I looked, there were four cuts on my neck, one of them pretty deep. I say that I looked at the back of my neck later because he never showed me the back while I was there. The cut is not what I really asked for so he must not have been listening or maybe he was distracted as he talked on the phone for a few minutes in the middle of the cut. The hair isnt all blended (some parts are short and go to long without a smooth transition). All in all... not the best experience and I don't think I'll be back. read more

One of the worst barber shop I have been to. The barbers don't pay attention to what you are asking for. They constantly stop and take phone calls. The one I had actually stopped to talk with his girlfriend on the phone for a few minutes and then bragged about it with coworkers. I would not go there unless you are desperate. Most of the staff gives very good haircuts there's two that are little inexperience. The only things they need to work on is to be more professional and there a bit pricey. read more

Been there several times and I never had the same barber. I don't think I've even seen the same people there over the past 5+ years or however long it was I first went there. All my barbers did a decent job, nothing fantastic like attention to detail that I've gotten at other smaller barber shops and they all rush through my cut roughing me up, scratching my neck etc. For me this place is a "I give up" when looking for a place to get a haircut because my barber is on vacation/too busy or has moved/retired which has happened a few times. I've gotten better treatment and cuts from older barbers (40-50+) than from the various people who've cute my hair at Main Street. Also as a large barber shop there are always distractions like people's friends showing up, hanging out, having loud obnoxious conversations. It is also normal for the barber to stop your haircut to participate in these distractions as well as play with their phones. FWIW I started going to this place in my late 20's and I prefer smaller quieter barber shops. read more

This place is horrible. Not at all professional. Told the guy twice what I wanted and he still just did whatever he felt like doing. Must have been too busy texting or having vulgar conversations with his friends to actually understand. The barber spent the entire haircut talking to his friends in Spanish about the customer sitting next to me like they were somehow the only ones who could understand the language. The whole cut consisted of him hacking away at my head with an electric razor, a few snips with the scissors (all to the exact same length) and then the majority of time was him scraping a dull straight razor over my entire neck. I thought he was gonna tell me to take my shirt off so he could also scrape/pull the hair off my back.I should have just bought a hat. Stay away! read more

This place went from good to horrible in the span of 6 months, new barbers whenever I walk in and only 2 of them are actually good. The wait for the the 2 regular barbers is long but worth it, if you want to go to the other guys I say proceed with caution. Your hair line will be destroyed. Never going back read more

I have been coming to main st for over 15 years. My son is now a regular as well. Always had a great experience. Yesterday, I needed to get a haircut. It was 5 minutes before closing. Usually they take the last customer 30 minutes before closing. They took me with no problem and did a great job. Thanks to Mike and crew for always doing a great job! read more

The Lady gives a great clean cut haircut! I have been going to this Barber Shop for 3 yrs. and have been very pleased. If you like close knit hair or mid- shape hair styles- she will do in 15 minutes, and inexpensive (for seniors). read more

I wish there was a negative star rating but Ill have to settle for one star.Thats still over rated by a long shot. Today I received the worst haircut I've ever had. Literally. Horrible. He left my sides with 2 bald spots. Things happen I understand. When I told him about it he told me I was going bald from stress in those 2 spots that were clearly shaven with the corner of the clippers. I wanted a scissor cut and got a machine. He then shaved me with a dry razor that felt like I was being scalped by an indian chief the day after Thanksgiving. Summary, I have razor bumps all over the back of my neck and below my sideburns, 2 bald spots on the side of my head, and a set of bangs because rather than using scissors he decided to take the machine up to the center of my scalp. All this with a wedding in 3 days. Come here if you want to look your worst and cause a scene for friends and family. Worst ever. I mean EVER!! So bad I didnt have to pay he said.
