Great spot for breakfast. I had the fruit crepes and they were excellent. I'm going to try the Nutella crepes next. This place is just breakfast, cash only and they close early; as you'd expect from a breakfast diner. We walked in at noon but they were very kind and didn't rush us at all. We finished off their coffee which tasted like a fresh pot. Friendly atmosphere made for a great late-start for our morning. Also plenty of parking across the street. read more

This little diner is a local gem if there were no Yelp apps or social media only the locals will know about this place every time I come here the place is clean even on very busy days and the appearance is well updated from a very old 100+ year building the staff are friendly and talkative if they are not too busy I tried the steak bomb omelette, open face steak sandwich and her homemade hash all very good not big portions but just right to fill ya. The food taste is really good just the homefries are a little on the bland side but overall great. Just gotta tell ya the steak sandwich is best in town hands down read more

My fiancé and I went there today for the first time and we were instantly greetEd by John whom was very personable and who throughout our meal we had great conversations with. The atmosphere is calm and clean. The food tasted like it was homemade with love. The breakfast sausage was sooooo good and the French toast was the best I've had at a breakfast cafe in a long time. To top it off the prices were low; you can't find those prices anywhere these day. This is by far the biggest waste of money on food. They gave me barely handful home fries that had no seasoning. The 2 eggs were... well, 2 eggs. Nothing special. Not tasty. Certainly not filling. I immediately went to another breakfast spot and was much happier and payed about half the price. Dont eat here. read more

Stopped in for coffee meeting. Restaurant much larger than appears from street, many tables maybe can seat 30ish people. Relatively empty upon arrival, quickly greeted by friendly server behind counter. Asked to sit anywhere, he obliged. Quickly received my iced coffee upon ordering, was happily surprised by the taste. Reasons for 4/5 stars vs. full 5/5 include musty smell upon restaurant entry and price is right blaring in the tv ringing throughout the entire restaurant. Will go back to try food, would recommend for quick diner eats and/or coffee! read more

So being my 1st time dining here I'm sure I'll be writing a follow up review in the future. With that being said it could only mean I'm going to be back here for another round to try other dishes to see if In fact my 1st visit was not a lucky day out for lunch at a new establishment for me. Looks like the menu is really big on breakfast. But were their for lunch and the filet steak sandwich was a mentioned must try. So filet steak sandwich it is! Now you have a choice of French fries or soup to accompany your steak sandwich. The shrimp and corn chowder sounded interesting. And I ordered a side of French fries as a side after The owner informed me it was a fresh potato being fried. So now I see the mom in the kitchen peeling a couple of potatoes assuming it'll soon my on my plate as fresh fries! how exciting it doesn't get any fresher than this. So our corn and shrimp chowder comes out and I have to said it was top notch, nice sweet tender corn kernels and cut up chunks of large shrimps mixed with small shrimps and potatoes. Shrimp was cooked perfect not over cooked so they had a very nice snappy texture to them. And the chowder was very tasty and the consistency was perfect. Now the "filet mignon steak sandwich is actual sliced medallions seasoned and it was very tender and tasty. Definitely 1 of the best steak sandwiches ever. Although it was not a large sandwich by any means it was quite the bargain for around $9.00 and you have a choice of soup or fries. I was so impressed with my lunch that I would have to wonder how they can put out such a great plate for the cost and the place is not slammed. Since it is operated by the mom who performs magic in the back and her son who's keeping the customers engaged as well as being as informative as possible. I only wished I had taken some pics before I wiped out the plates. I highly recommend you try this diner out. There's plenty of parking right across from the restaurant and have some patience for everything is cooked to order. read more

Just had lunch. Best steak sandwich that I have had in years. The steak was so tender. I strongly recommend you try this sandwich. I have had their Irish Benedict as well. Homemade hash and great sauce. My first comment on Yelp, but well worth my effort. I hope this will encourage others to give this restaurant a try. Just read comment regarding seating. Very unprofessional employee behavior and extremely bad service. They only have 4 tables and the wait time for food was extremely long. After a half hour of no food coming, people walked out. One particular couple left $5 on the table to pay for coffee and milk they drank. A restaurant employee chased them to pay for the food they never received. The employee threatened them, got in the customer's face, yelling and screaming he was going to call the police on them, etc. The employee called them horrible names. He called them fat f**ks, said they don't need breakfast and should walk instead in addition to calling them pieces of s**t. In their defense, 2 people who arrived after this couple were served food before them. You would think a manager/owner would apologize instead of throwing inappropriate insults. Ultimately, the couple paid $25 for food they never received. read more

Cute little downtown, Main Street area. Cafe run by mother and son. Very warm atmosphere but a strange smell. I also overheard the son mention he didn't know that you had to wash fruit. Only got an iced tea and home fries, but very cute spot overall. Definitely a good spot for locals. read more

Exceptional breakfast and lunch. I usually have the Irish Benedict for breakfast. Homemade hash and hollandaise sauce can't be beat. I just stopped for lunch and enjoyed Olga's steak sandwich. Those from Woonsocket grew up with Kay's, but Olga's steak sandwich is the new standard. I strongly encourage you to stop for breakfast or lunch and try either of these. read more

I'm in Woonsocket for work and we were going to Fall River for lunch but they were closed, so we drove by this and stopped in. We were the only customers and got seated. My coworker ordered the burger club with clam chowder, and I got the patty melt, he said his food was great and it was one of the best patty melts I've ever had. Service was great, friendly guy and his mom run the place. The best part? It was $15 for two (big) sandwiches, order of fries, soup and an iced tea. For the quality of the food, you can't beat this place. Very solid all around. We'll be coming back before we head out of town. read more

I can not rave enough about this place, the owner is a loving mom that works with her son. I was chilly in there one day and she came over with out question and turned the heat on. The food is amazing. My husband gets the filet and eggs always done to his liking and very flavorful. Never had any complaints they treat you like family always. read more

Tried this cozy little cafe for breakfast for the first time today. Food was really good, homemade corned beef hash, best rye bread, best home-fries I've had in a long time, and eggs done perfectly, which is a rare occurrence! Alda is very pleasant and hospitable and wants nothing better than for you to be happy and comfortable. Good job, Alda. Will be back for sure! read more
