Great place for a delicious breakfast! They only serve on weekends, but it is worth it to go there!

The breakfast here is SUPERB! I look forward to hearing about their specials every time I walk in. It seems there's always a table ready for my dining companions and I to settle into. After making the difficult decision to go savory (choosing from their selection of omelets, hash, breakfast meats, etc) or sweet (a la French toast and pancake selections), I'm always thrown off when their specials are described and I question entire ordering plan and pivot to these options. Today I did just that. I enjoyed a delectable and cozy pancake dish. These pancakes were divine. The batter was mixed with oats and spices, was topped with a berry and apple compote, and finished with an apple cinnamon crème fraise. Served with packages of syrup, I only dribbled a little on to the sections not smothered in fruit. You can select one, two, or three pancakes and while I went with two, please know they are gigantic and I really would have been stuffed after just one. I had just a couple cups of decaf coffee but my companions went with a seasonal Witches' Brew full of all the spices of the season. The waitress that always seems to be there is very friendly and does not rush any of the customers. It's a very pleasant, hometown feel while you're dining here and one I don't mind traveling a fair distance for (in Rhode Island terms). read more

This was my wife and I first time here! Our pancakes were very good, however, the syrup was NOT even maple syrup, it was simple corn syrup, and other preservatives! RECOMMENDATION: This place would go a long way if it added real maple syrup, even if you charge two dollars more! The syrup was so bad, I didn't even eat all my 2 pancakes!! Unfortunately this spot is only open on weekends for breakfast and yes they have outstanding food made with an old New England touch. Coffee cup is always full and the environment is bright and cheerful. Eggs, omelets and other morning fare are prepared with TLC. Try the Pumpkin French toast or the pumpkin pancakes for a treat from a chef with an imagination. read more

Knight Farm is a great place to go on the weekends to grab a diner style breakfast. They have a good number of options on the menu - sweet vs. savory. The staff is friendly and you can tell they have a good number of regulars! I really enjoy sitting in one of the rooms in the front of the building but they do have a lot of space, including a breakfast bar in the back! read more

I grew a couple miles from Knight Farm in Harmony so I am very familiar and have been coming here for many years. Today I am reviewing the restaurant and not the actual apple farm. They have a small little diner that serves exceptional food and great prices but fun and friendly staff. If there's one meal a day that I love the most it's breakfast. Going in on a weekend morning you may have to wait for a little because they're so busy, but it's worth that wait. There's usually a specials menu which offers some unique foods and the standard menu which has grown over the years. We ordered the breakfast sample this time around which came with eggs, toast, ham, bacon, hash and home fries that was filling, and I couldn't finish. We also ordered off the specials menu which was the Red, White and Blue which was French toast with apples, bananas and blueberries. Both left us full, and satisfied. They also now accept debit and credit cards for those that pay with card. For years it was cash only and they had an ATM outside that you could use for money. We learned yesterday that they now accept cards, and I know for some people they wouldn't come because of that. Our waitress, like all the others was friendly, personable, and really made us feel like home. She always kept the coffee filled, made conversation and kept us laughing. We are loyal fans of Knight Farm, well worth the drive from Providence and we're going to keep coming back. read more

Great little local place for breakfast. Although you wait a little longer for your food the wait is well Worth it! On today's visit, my husband had their biscuits and gravy as well as their French toast. I enjoyed their two eggs over easy with hash, homefries and Italian toast. And our little enjoyed their pancakes. Everything and I mean everything was absolutely delicious!! Their hash is out of this world and their biscuit and gravy was heavenly and I don't even enjoy eating biscuits and gravy. This is our new little spot as we will be back for sure! read more

My order was eggs,hash,bacon,ham,and toast the bacon was burnt and so was the ham. All the meat was very greasy. I would be embarrassed to serve that to someone.The actual dish looked worse than the one in the pictures.The waitress never came by to ask if everything was ok or would you like more coffee. Came here for some candy or gourmet apples and they didn't have them yet- plus they only do gourmet. They were actually working on them as I was in there. They looked and smelled great- so I'll be back in a few days to try their gourmet apples! I believe it was the owner who directed me to Apple Land where he knew they had both candy and gourmet apples. That was really professional and nice of him. Place is extremely clean and immaculate and I believe they serve breakfast although I haven't had it yet! They also had pumpkins and mums. But they only had the smaller mums- so I opted for the Mums down the street at Appleland Orchard. I will be back for the gourmet apples and to try their breakfast! read more

Proud to say this was the farm I spent a lot of my childhood on. Walter Knight was my Great Uncle and the Spencer family came here to visit my grandmother, Cora Knight. I grew up in North Scituate and came apple picking here as a child. Over the years I watched the orchard die off a bit and have not been back since my son was 7 (10 years ago) My husband and I live down the road but never have the restaurant a second thought thinking it was only a coffee shop. About 2 weeks ago we were driving by and thought lets give it a shot.... I am so glad we did! The waitress was friendly, food was fantastic and atmosphere cozy. The price was right too! Always seeing a breakfast place think they can do lunch. There's more than just throwing a soup, salad, and sandwich on a menu and calling it lunch. Not hard to make a hot pastrami sandwich! Though here it was dry, no flavor, and burnt bread. I asked for coleslaw or a pickle instead was told the owner should get them soon. They've been open for 12 years, and they don't have pickles. Might be a good time to get some. Nothing worse than to see an item on the menu and be told we don't have it. They pride themselves on their apple pie, and you can only get during apple harvest. Isn't that like three weeks a year? You should say seasonal on the menu. Knight Farm took me for $15. Good news that's all they will get. My advice move on down the road to the next place. read more

(They're also more expensive, which didn't make sense to me) Regardless, great donuts, just a bit too much sugar coating (which is probably why they were the kids' favorite) and not enough 'depth' to them. read more

Not sure what the people here are thinking. If there was less then one star I would give it. Tables left not bussed, filthy utensils, smoky water glasses, waitstaff walking around with no purpose. I guess in RI you can now put s$&@ on a plate and call it a restaurant. If you build it they will come, at first, but never again. I stopped by here for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised by friendly service, good food, and cheap prices. The cafe looks like it's geared more to breakfast than lunch, but there are still a good selection of sandwiches - I ordered the BLT for $4. It said that it came with chips, but when it showed up I was pleasantly surprised to find out that chips meant fries. It also came with a dill pickle - a great last note to a relaxed lunch. Not only does Knight's Farm have a cute cafe but they also have a walk up window for ice cream. After ordering your ice cream you can sit on their covered porch that has a selection of small tables or a comfy couch. I didn't see any actual produce while I was there, but I did see the stand that I can imagine holds it. I think they are an apple farm, so their time of year would be the fall. Still it's worth take a short jaunt down the country road for a nice quick meal. read more

100% yes. Came here for breakfast with my boyfriend and his parents on a recent visit to Rhode Island. Tremendously cozy interior, coffee in abundance (just the way I like it) and a breakfast sandwich special that was just dang special. Total dude sandwich but I dug it (and ordered it) just the same. Your usual bacon egg and cheese on a bagel with a sweet, tangy, runny maple sauce (mixed with honey mustard I think) which got me hooked on first bite. Obviously that sauce was star of the show. In addition to being a warm, cozy breakfast, lunch and ice cream spot, Knight Farm is also a seasonal destination for fruit picking, fresh cider and a good ol' fashioned hayride. I give Knight Farm MAD PROPS for seating my large Italian family on a Saturday morning without an issue. I mean, we were rolling 20 deep, including 2 kids and a baby. They set up tables in the roofed seating area in the front of the restaurant, with room to spare. Even with limited staff, the waitresses got our coffee & drinks out to us with the quickness! We must've cleared out all of the food in the kitchen, we were all sharing and passing around our plates because everything was so darn good! Coffee refills were flowing, plenty of napkins, plenty of elbow room, everything was great! I usually come in on a Sunday with my fam and do up some specials like stuffed French toast or omelettes and the kiddos love the chocolate chip pancakes (big surprise). Service is always kind and always greet you with a smile. This establishment is CASH ONLY, which is a bummer for those card carrying folks such as myself. They do, however, have an ATM on site, if you can't get a friend to spot you for your meal. ;-) read more

Used to be one of my favorites but the food served on my last visit was inedible...and I am not a picky eater. Hash and potatoes were so salty I had to mash with my over easy eggs to get it down. I would've sent the food back but the wait time for food in the first place was so long I wasn't ready to spend hours there to get a decent meal. The staff is very nice and that will make up for a lot but this food was just terrible. read more

I really wanted to like this place since it's such a nice drive to get to, but it was really difficult. First the good. The waitstaff was extremely nice, and the restaurant was clean and quaint. Now the bad. The service was abysmal. We sat down, got coffee after about 5 mins, then 10 mins later, we had to ask for menus. Looked at the menus, took about 20 minutes to get our order taken. After being there for about an hour and 10 minutes the food came out and it was decent at best. To top it all off, they don't take cards and you have to use an ATM in the place that charges $3 per transaction (plus if your bank charges you). The prices were a little on the high side, but would be warranted if their food was good. read more

We decided to come here on Saturday.. We were taking my mom out for her birthday! We say down right away and the waitress came right up to us, she was very friendly!!! The menu has all different options.. We ordered and the food came out pretty fast it. My parents ordered the red, white and blue, which was stuff French toast topped with fresh blueberries, bananas and strawberries!!! They loved it.. I got the hungry man( I think that's what it was called) my boyfriend had an omelet and my aunt had the fluffiest pancakes ever!!! My uncle had the same as me I think everything was fabulous!!! For being on a farm, the menu lacked real maple syrup and fresh fruit/veggies (minus 1 star). I was looking for a good country breakfast experience so I figured I would check out Knights Farm. Maybe it was because I came in later (1030) but I thought my breakfast was terrible. My homefries did not come out with my meal so I informed them of this and they were very quick on getting them to me however they were warm at best and were so hard to chew I had to give up on some pieces. I had bacon and eggs and my bacon was like eating gravel. I was worried about my teeth actually, it was that hard. I believe in second chances so I will try them one more time on another day and I will follow up on this review. I gave a two star still because it was clean and cozy. read more

Cute spot, but very over priced, $3 and change for a orange juice, specials are $10 a piece for just the meal, add a drink and you're talking a $13 or so breakfast. For a family of 5 that's crazy. Although it states credit cards accepted on the menu, this restaurant is CASH ONLY. It's not stated on the menu nor on the entry door that it's cash only, there is an ATM on sight however it was out of order and we had to go into town to a bank to withdraw money and go back to pay our check. Last thing that annoyed us was there is no kids menu listed, but the table next to us must have been regulars and ordered from the kids menu, I asked our waitress about that and she had no answer as to why it's not listed, although she was a teenager, it's her job to know and inform your customers. I just moved to the area. I stopped in one morning with my son, thinking maybe they might sell muffins or something, and was pleasantly surprised to find a warm, inviting little restaurant! They serve breakfast and lunch. So far, I've only had breakfast there and the food was excellent. Prices are very reasonable, and the waitstaff are super friendly. It is very clean (I'm super picky about that) and simply a great place to enjoy a meal alone at the counter or with friends at a table. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. I'll tell you, this place doesn't get only 4 stars because of the food or the prices or the staff. Each of those items were spot on during our recent, first visit for breakfast. The food was flavorful, abundant and hot, the prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly and courteous. Thankfully, we had enough cash in our pockets to cover the tab as we didn't see any signage which indicated it was a "cash only" establishment. We checked on our way out in case we had missed it somewhere; we hadn't. There was no sign. I'd only suggest a little but of decoration on the walls, perhaps. Love it here! Decor is very basic but don't be fooled, the food is much better than some very popular RI breakfast places. Do yourself a favor and try one of their specials, they are really creative and yummy. My favorite was the crasin white chocolate chip pumpkin pancakes, YUM. My husband always goes for the huge, delicious bowl of oatmeal with all the fixings. This is our go-to breakfast spot and so far hasn't failed us yet! read more

I went to Knights for lunch and apple picking with my 2 kids. We saw people sitting on the patio and there were a few open tables. I asked to sit outside and was told that they were not seating people outside due to being short staffed. They brought our drinks right away, but I had to ask to place our order (10+ minutes later) only to find out that they only served breakfast items on Sunday. This would have been good information to have upon sitting down. Back to square one.At one point the waitress says that she isn't familiar with the menu. By the time we got our food, it was over 45 minutes since we walked in (and 3 parties seated on the patio!). The food was fair at best. A friend joined us and asked for a slice of pie, which took over 10 minutes to bring out. Don't get me wrong, it was good pie, but 10 minutes for something no one has to cook?! We paid and decided to go apple picking. Not much organization there. No staff in the orchard, just near the register inside. $20 to pick a SMALL bag. The only staff there was the hay ride driver, and he said that he knew there were different types of apples in the orchard, but couldn't tell them apart. The trees weren't planted in any sort of order like in other orchards, rather, the trees seemed to grow wherever they wanted to, apple varieties mixed in together. We were not the only ones surprised with the state of this farm. I definitely will not be returning. read more

Hadn't been in years but remembered it as good place to buy apples. Not any more!!!. They didn't have any McIntosh apples out in bags so my husband asked if they had any. The clerk offered to fill a bag for us and did. Charged $10 for eight very poor apples. No flavor and most had bruises or bad spots in them. Even when I made apple crisp to use them because nobody wanted to eat them raw they didn't taste good. Also decided to try their cider doughnuts. They were good but small for the price--$8 for six small doughnuts. We won't be back. read more

They always have interesting specials (this wkend it was peach stuffed french toast and coffee cake pancakes. But I resisted and had a veggie omelet, no toast no homefries).
