This place never disappoints! It's one of those place where you wait for them to slip up but they don't! Consistency and fresh ingredients keep me coming back. I'm new up here and I have to drive 20 minutes to enjoy my grub with my lady who teaches. Eating there is very much recommended! Their tomato soup is smackin too. Yes food smacks not slaps! Top fat boy tips, get the Dutch crunch bread! Amazing! I would like to get some and make a Cuban sandwich with it. They even have plenty of parking on the street for a big rig. I was very excited about this deli because of the reviews. However my visit was a disappointment. 10/17/23 about 2:30 I stopped in- not busy with five people working. First off the music was very loud which made it very hard to understand the soft spoken young man taking my order- I also felt as if I was an inconvenience. Second it took ten minutes to get my sandwich after ordering- only one other customer walked in after me. Lastly the biggest disappointment was upon getting home and opening my sandwich it didn't have two of the main ingredients (you also can not see them make the sandwich) I ordered the Hang 10 which on the menu says it includes cream cheese and avocado which my sandwich had neither. The two stars are for what was on the sandwich was tasty however I am in no hurry to return for a $14 sandwich to have to "check" the order. I understand mistakes happen but darn. read more

Main Street Deli have the best sandwiches around! The bread is always fresh there unlike those other mom and pop shops. I hate it when you pay $15 for a sandwich and it scratches the roof of your mouth. I like the Red Bank and Shasta sandwich. I live in Anderson and I make the drive to Red Bluff just for the sandwiches and it's worth it. So disappointed. I have heard so many good things about the quality of sandwiches but that was not the case today. We ordered the Red Rock roast beef on dutch crunch and the turkey special with cranberry/ cream cheese spread. I was looking forward to a pre thanksgiving treat. This sandwich was served hot, so I was expecting grilled bread but instead an inedible soggy heap of sliced bread, hot lettuce, raw bacon. I had been wanting to try this place out for a while since I'm a huge foodie! The guys are handsome and polite however it should not take 30 minutes for a sandwich, 1 sandwich! They lack motivation, direction and energy!
