This place never disappoints! It's one of those place where you wait for them to slip up but they don't! Consistency and fresh ingredients keep me coming back. I'm new up here and I have to drive 20 minutes to enjoy my grub with my lady who teaches. Eating there is very much recommended! Their tomato soup is smackin too. Yes food smacks not slaps! Top fat boy tips, get the Dutch crunch bread! Amazing! I would like to get some and make a Cuban sandwich with it. They even have plenty of parking on the street for a big rig. Absolutely delicious deli! Their "Baja sauce" adds so much flavor and the meats seem to be high quality cuts. Friendly staff and many options for customization. The shop is a little small for dining in, but the environment is welcoming and relaxing nonetheless.

I was very excited about this deli because of the reviews. However my visit was a disappointment. 10/17/23 about 2:30 I stopped in- not busy with five people working. First off the music was very loud which made it very hard to understand the soft spoken young man taking my order- I also felt as if I was an inconvenience. Second it took ten minutes to get my sandwich after ordering- only one other customer walked in after me. Lastly the biggest disappointment was upon getting home and opening my sandwich it didn't have two of the main ingredients (you also can not see them make the sandwich) I ordered the Hang 10 which on the menu says it includes cream cheese and avocado which my sandwich had neither. The two stars are for what was on the sandwich was tasty however I am in no hurry to return for a $14 sandwich to have to "check" the order. I understand mistakes happen but darn.

I had Main Street Deli cater my daughters volleyball tournament. We ordered a variety of different sandwiches. All of them were delicious, even 7 hours later. The service was great and the sandwiches were exactly what the reviews all say, EXCELLENT. read more

Was in there today to get a sandwich and the girl working was wearing gloves and kept touching her hair. Not only didn't she touch her hair once but it was multiple times. Did not change gloves or bother to wash hands before making another sandwich. When I asked about changing gloves she just smiled and rolled her eyes. Wow!!! I've been meaning to check out Main Street Deli since they opened. First the restaurant was clean, neat and organized. The staff was super kind, cool and accommodating. I prefer real sandwiches with real, thick cut meat and that's exactly what I received! I enjoyed the MSD: Hot Chicken, Bacon, Pepper Jack Cheese with Pesto and the garlic sauce. Delicious! Best deli!!!!! Easy parking, friendly (greeted me as soon as I walked in the door) fast service. Fresh Dutch crunch and sour dough, the bread was still warm! Perfectly crunchy on the outside, easy to bite into and it wasn't overpowering the rest of the goodies they put on their sandwiches. Ample serving size, had leftovers for the next day and it was even great then! Did I mention The help was super friendly and fast !!! I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner. It will definitely be my go to! Oh and I was pleasantly surprised by the surprise chocolate chip cookie inside the bag!!! That was smart because now I will absolutely buy cookies to ad to my meal! If you're heading up I-5 to points north, or in the other direction to points South, when you hit Red Bluff, drop off at the Adobe Road off ramp, go a block west to Main Street, turn left for another block and stop at the Main Street Deli on the left in a little strip center. You won't be disappointed! Great sandwiches, great staff, great food. Family business run by a young couple who are dedicated to their craft and have lived in Red Bluff all their lives. this place is by far the best place to eat in northern california. the amazing staff and very friendly owner made my experience at this little hometown deli a 10/10. the ladies and young man working there seemed very close and their interactions with each other seemed like they were a family. i asked one of the girls what their name was and shout-out ashley for the amazing recommendation for the number 9. also a shoutout to the tall blonde (i forgot to get your name) for getting my order out as quickly as possible. definitely will be making a trip to see them again. read more

I got the number 8 Hogsback. Simple yes monstrous sized sandwich. Large menu with many of the classics. On top of the sandwich you also get a chocolate chip cookie. A variety of foundation drinks and canned drinks to choose from including caffeinated beverages such as Fit Aides and Monsters. Great customer service. will be repeat customers. Got the #10 Shasta on sourdough roll and it was a perfect sandwich. Right proportions of toppings and meat and everything was super fresh. Will definitely be back next time we are in town. Service was great too. Cookies are a plus! read more
