Wow , I had the sausage and beef sandwich and we also ordered a spicy Hawaiian Luau pizza. The sandwich was off the chain including the bread that was fresh sour doe baked just right. Friendly staff-Morgan in particular was so patient with our indecisiveness and many questions. The salad was fresh and an ample amount. The spaghetti with meat sauce was very good . We also ordered a personal Hawaiian extra crispy - it was perfect! Just ever so slightly burnt on the edges of the ham - and the sauce was wonderful. Amazing spot!! I stopped in for the gluten free and was amazed at the quality of the pizza and the great service. In all my half-century of life AND working in a pizza parlor, I have never seen paper put under a cut pizza to keep it from getting soggy. When I do it with napkins, my wife looks at me like I have lost my last marble. It was awesome. The pizza never got soggy, plus the fact that it was gluten free (which are usually prone to soggy or undercooked). The crust remained crunchy until I devoured it. Extra points for the staff who were the kindest to an elderly lady dining alone, ensuring that she was taken care, her leftovers kindly boxed and she was assisted to her car. We've been eating here for over 25 years and the reason, great pizza and service !! TBH, I've never had the pasta but I can't imagine it being any less tasty than the pizza. This is not a pizza chain but a locally owned and operated slice of Italy ! Plenty of room to sit inside, booths and tables. TV's to catch sports and a kids room to keep them happy and you broke ! Also, an outside covered patio for the group events. The pizza is wonderful. Ingredients are fresh and plentiful. Brought to your table piping hot with real plates and silverware. A cornucopia of beer and a pop machine in the dining area Luigi's is just a wonderful piece of Red Bluff's history. The owners are community minded and supported. There's always some baseball, basketball or kids group having an afternoon of fun! If you're looking to eat pizza put out in 10 minutes and served in a box, keep driving. I visit Red Bluff 5-6x's a year & I really enjoy Italian food. Not only does this Pizza restaurant make outstanding Pizza the Pasta dishes & Sandwiches are excellent. The sauces they offer (5) for the Pasta/Ravioli dises are really delicious. You can't beat their prices either, $8.50 for a large plate of cheese, meat or spinach Ravioli. Large plate of Spaghetti with 2 large meatballs $10.50. The Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp & Mushrooms was excellent. The Meatball Sandwich was insane. A whole loaf of French Bread with 12 Meatballs/Meat sauce & Cheese, so good. If there is a draw back at this establishment, there is a Video game room & some parents let their young children run wild in the restaurant yelling & screaming & just ignoring them with no supervision at all. We were traveling from Washing to San Diego and stopped at Luigi's for pizza. It was 105 outside, and I'm pretty sure it was dang near close inside. As soon as we walked in, we felt the humid head slap us in the face. I looked around and saw the poor workers sitting in a corner trying to fan themselves cool. It was horrible! We went to sit down after we ordered and I almost wanted to go back into our car, because it was ridiculously HOT. When our pizza came, we began to eat quickly and after a few bites, I realized that the mozzarella sticks were overly breaded, and tasted as they were the frozen kind. The pizza was decent, but it wasn't nothing to write home about. The margharita pizza was over spiced and the meat one didn't have that much flavor to it. We ended up leaving disappointed, tossed the leftovers on the way out and agreed this was not the place for us. It was a shame because the reviews were so good! But it was just nothing special. Very poor quality food and employees were more concerned about their personal conversation rather than tending to customers. We ordered a meatball sandwich and a large combination. They brought us the pizza and when asked where the sandwich was that we ordered the employee was rather rude and told us we did not order a sandwich. So we ordered a second time and once we finally received the sandwich everyone else had already ate their pizza and there our guest sat eating alone. We ordered cheese tortellini with meat sauce and Italian sausage. We started off with a nice Garden Salad. We were a bit surprised when the tortellini, meat sauce, sausage were delivered mixed together on a single plate. The mix of flavors was almost beyond belief. Before it was sold, we were a huge fan of how the pie was cooked. Loved the fresh veggies on the pizza, and the salad was the bomb! Enough for a family of four. It was clean and tasty. Now, dough is bland, sauce was bitter, no crisp at all to either of the two we ordered. Veggies were tasteless and had no color. Dinner salad was a bagged mix, and mostly brown. We ordered the family size, and had only enough for two to eat. (Unless we all had one fork full) The staff was, in my opinion, being very unprofessional when it came to handling items. Those 5 stars are for the Luigi's Special pizza I enjoyed tonight. The blending of the flavors of the plentiful and perfectly cooked onions, green peppers and mushrooms with the pepperoni and sausage was sublime. There are not many pizza joints that can accomplish that these days because they have succumbed to the industrial processed ingredients suppliers. Veggies that are sliced and put in plastic bags in a central location many miles away. Sausage and ground beef that are precooked. A parsimonious sprinkling of the vegetables as if they were more expensive than the meat. Yuk! That is not decent pizza and those changes were not made for the convenience of the pizza lover, but for improving the bottom line. Here you order at the counter and they will bring your food to you. Fill your drinks from the fountain. Service was efficient. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed like most pizza joints. We also had a large antipasto salad to share. Food is great but make sure to leave enough time if you're dining in. We came close to opening time on a Wednesday morning (11:25) and we didn't get served our pizza 40 minutes later at 12:05. The restaurant was empty so they must have prioritized take out or delivery over ours. Given that we're mid-way through a 6 hour drive we do regularly and spending an hour for pizza is not something we'll do again. read more

Love this place! They have an extensive menu with great service! However if u have never been there ordering can be a bit confusing! Especially if their busy! Grab a menu or stand and look up at their menu board and when ur ready to order let the cashier know. Once u place your order you are given A number to put on your table and its SEAT YOURSELF, also SERVE YOURSELF when it comes to soda water and tea. They have a decent beer and wine menu and a small arcade area for the little ones to freak out about and beg for more money to get tokens to play the games they don't know how to play lol. They have a separate dining area for birthday parties etc and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Consistent. Fresh. Friendly. Best Pizza in all of Northern California. No Joke. Luigi's has been a maintain for me and my family since we moved to 'Far-Northern' California. Located in Red Bluff, this place was a spot we stumbled across after a Home Depot run when we moved into our ranch up here. The staff is always super friendly, helpful and attentive to their customers. The dining area is always clean, too, with plenty of bus-staff waiting to clear tables. Lots of TVs adorn the walls, and there's a neat little arcade. The pizza here, is quite frankly, without equal in this part of the state. I honestly believe that you could draw a radius of 200 miles around Luigi's and not find a better pizza. Period. It's that good. Crust is perfect, sauces are balanced, veggies are great, and they are SUPER good about helping you customize your pizza to meet dietary restrictions. If you're Vegan, this place offers some flexibility. My wife and I will always bring a 'fake-meat' option, with/without Vegan cheese, and they will put it on our pizza with their other toppings. They have even cut vegan sausage up for us in slices to add to the pizza. This place is the epitome of flexible when it comes to pleasing their patrons. Our favorite 'sauce' is the 'Sicilian', which is a mix of basil, garlic powder, olive oil and Parmesan Cheese put down under the toppings in place of red sauce. To make it vegan, we ask that they leave off the Parmesan Cheese. Ordering your pizza 'Sicilian Style' will get you this wonderful option; try it once and you'll be hooked. A Yelp tip: if you order a Large or bigger pizza, you can get a free personal size pizza with the order, but you have to ask; they won't tell you, so you've got to ask on your own. It's like getting a free $9 pizza. Awesome approach! In summary, please understand I don't hand out 5 star reviews often; check my other reviews and you'll see what I mean. Luigi's is the real deal.
