Stopped in for breakfast when driving to Craters. The ladies were very friendly and gave us great service. We shared French toast, eggs and crispy bacon with 2 extra eggs and a sausage patty and one coffee. It was your typical home cooked breakfast and we ate it all. Price was great. The diner was very clean. I would recommend and would stop again when driving through. read more

What a wonderful little place! The waitress was kind and welcoming. The food takes a tiny bit longer here than in the big city but if you are not in a hurry, so worth the wait. Everything came out warm and fresh. We got the French toast combo and the biscuits and gravy combo. Everything was absolutely delicious. Stopped here for lunch on a drive from Salt Lake City to Jackson, Wy. My wife really wanted a true small town establishment, and we specifically went this way to stop here. Service was very friendly, place was busier than expected for a Monday (photo of space was taken after a large party left). Food was good and the fries tasted home made. My wife had the Philly chicken with fries and I had the Aloha chicken sandwich with tater tots. We won't be driving back this way, but we would certainly stop again! read more

What an unexpectedly delightful breakfast spot in a tiny town in Idaho! We were driving thru on a road trip from Yellowstone and Grand Teton back to California and boy did this place hit the spot. Portions were huge and delicious. Eggs were fresh and we ordered a variety of items including the hot cakes, toast, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. The place is small so when it's partially full, it will take time to get your food. The ladies that run the place are nice and friendly. We were told that Main Street will be closed for construction and no parking will be allowed for a few months starting 7/15/24. However, the restaurant will still be open. So please check this spot out if you can! read more

This is a family run business and we went for Breakfast. They had the normal fare. Nothing to brag about but adequate. The service was fabulous, the locals didn't seem too Happy to have strangers in town however. The restaurant is cavernous with not much ambiance but if you look good old fashioned food it's the place to be. read more

This is small town diner. Yes it's not going to be fast so it's a great place to slow things down and talk about the roadtrip. So if you're trying to get from A to B as fast as you can, don't stop here. If you do stop, you'll have some nice hometown cooking. Kids loved the grilled cheeses. Basic but well executed. From the mashed potatoes to the English chips were good. You are in potato country afterall. One thing to note is any salad, you just goto the salad bar and fix it yourself. We just moved here for work and are staying in a RV park 20 minutes away from town. Ventured out for some breakfast and groceries and decided to eat here. This was on a Saturday morning around 11AM. They were very busy which is to be expected considering limited options in Soda. We had to wait maybe 10 mins to get a table and they warned us that it would take about 40 mins to get our orders. We had nowhere to be so we were fine with that especially since we were seated and given drinks right away. Very clean and cute restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff and food was great. Service was attentive and genuine. They were adamant that I take a to go cup of my soda on my way out after I was already stuffed with my melt sandwich and crispy fries with fry sauce. It definitely isn't inspiring on the outside, but if you're nearby to see the geyser, you should definitely set aside some time to fill your belly at this location. Solid diner done right. read more

Wow if you stop to see the Geyser which erupts every hour on the hour, which is very impressive. Accross the street you'll find Main Street Diner and you realize very soon this is where the locals come to eat. Our waitress Kris was super for making recommendations. Food is so delicious and the staff is friendly. It was fun to watch the locals come in for breakfast too. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because they use margarine instead of butter, and the orange juice was not great. The pancake is delicious and thick. Probably the best place to eat in Soda Springs. Very friendly staff who let my party of 4 enter and order 15 minutes before closing (some places get grumpy about this). A variety of menu items and all that I have tried are good, both breakfast and lunch. They also have a good bottled root beer. read more

I had to wait almost an hour for my food. When I finally got it, it was cold. I asked to have a fresh meal and the second meal was cold as well. Whem I ordered a cup of coffee, the waitress said that I had to wait until the cups were cleaned. The meat in the omlette that I got tasted like dog food. The only thing that I can say good about my experience is that the waitress was pleasant. Skip this place and go somewhere else. read more

Just came from the geyser. 4 of us enjoyed the fresh food. I got the ultimate grilled cheese and a 1-trip salad bar. Both were great. Chef and Cobb salads were fresh and yummy and served on a dinner plate. Wife didn't finish. Halibut fish and chips were great as well. The women working here were awesome, friendly, welcoming and I will be returning for more any time I make it to Soda Springs before 2 pm. This was good for what it is. Cute little greasy burger place in a small town. I ordered the mountain mushroom burger, but didn't even notice any mushrooms till I was on my last two bites. With that said my husband and I still thoroughly enjoyed our burgers. (Hubs ordered the western burger) Good sized hamburger patty and the cibatta bun was super good. Fries were your average good fries but I thought the portion size was a bit meager. All in all I enjoyed my meal but there are definitely some areas I thought could be improved. read more

Stopped in here after camping on or way to Jackson. The diner has a nice clean decor and the staff is friendly. The pancake was outstanding. We also had omelettes which were good. The hashbrowns were a little under done but we didn't specify how we wanted them so I don't feel like that was their fault. We stopped here during our drive from Jackson Hole to Salt Lake City. I ordered the roast beef and mashed potatoes and I was very pleased with my selection. The beef was tasty and tender and the mashed potatoes were amazing (I guess there's a reason why Idaho is famous for its potatoes!) Additionally our server was attentive and kind.
