There is a massage place on the back end(not open that I could see) only noticed when I passed it going to the restroom. She had the airplane chicken and I had the Surf & Turf. Both were well prepared and delicious. I had a Summer Shandy & my wife had a Trash Panda(their version of a LI ice tea. Service was good. While expensive(over $100 for two w/ tip), it was the first "nice" dinner we've had during our vacation. Worth a stop. read more

My husband and I came to have dinner asked host what her favorite meal was she recommended the chicken parm. My husband had that and I had the fried chicken both were delicious. My husband had just been up to Canada fishing and asked the chef if he brought him in a piece of salmon would he cook it for us. He was very happy to do it for us. My husband and I tried Rogue tonight and it was fabulous. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. The bartender/waitress was friendly and attentive, which really added to the evening. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it felt cozy rather than crowded. They were offering a holiday menu, and everything we ordered was excellent. We shared the Honey Brussels Sprouts, Beet Salad, and the Beef Stroganoff--each dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. We'll definitely be back! read more

I highly recommend this restaurant! We went there for our 26th wedding anniversary and the hostess(and I believe may be the owner) Carol was exceptionally amazing to us! From the time I made the reservation to the time we left she treated us like VIP's. Not to mention the vibe, the energy, the live music and last but not least the FOOD! I'll be going back for the sweet and salty board alone. Also I was shocked at how attentive our waitress was-I would barely set my empty glass down and she was Johnny on the spot there to get me another one. My first time eating here and I wasn't disappointed at all!! I had the Ribeye Steak with mixed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. It was cooked to perfection with lots of flavor, tender and juicy. My sister had the fish and chips with coleslaw. She enjoyed her dinner and tried my steak and loved it too. We didn't have reservations and got seated right away then it got busier so I would recommend making reservations. I thought it was a nice touch when the owner (Carol) went around and checked on the diners to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying the terrific food. I surprised my husband with a little getaway to Lava and made a reservation at Rogue Restaurant after reading all the rave reviews, and wow, they did not disappoint. Take my advice and make a reservation, especially if you're visiting on a weekend. This place is hoppin'. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the kindest woman and seated quickly. Our waitress was warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely. Now, come in knowing this: the food is to die for, but there will be a wait, and it's 100% worth it. Your server won't let your drink run empty, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, and patience is rewarded here. We ordered the pot roast and the salmon. The pot roast was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the salmon was cooked to absolute perfection. I'm really hoping we can get in for brunch today, but I didn't make a reservation... rookie mistake on my part. Don't pass this place up. We had a great experience here. The food was excellent across the board, everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Portions were generous and you can tell care goes into the dishes. After searching the area and the restaurants in LavaHot Springs , my sister and I were beckoned to turn back and continue on into Rogue. The staff are very warm and welcoming, all the from beginning to end. The atmosphere is mild, with popular retro music playing in The background, not too quiet, but not so loud it's annoying and can't hear the person across the table from you. Service was superb but the food was absolutely exceptional and the highlight. We started with a charcuterie board called sweet and salty, which I highly recommend. It had a perfect blend of sweet pears, cranberries, honey, walnuts with Brie cheese and charred french bread and garlic chips. My sis and I both ordered the rosemary crusted salmon had a perfectly seared crust on the outside and buttery smooth, delicious inside. The vegetables were perfectly seasoned and cooked with just the right amount of firmness. I asked for salt before trying them but it turned out it didn't need it! In fact nothing on the plate needed anything added! The Rissoto had a wonderful creamy texture that was rich and decadent. I've never had a more delicious risotto in my life. Our cocktails, while really delicious were slightly outshone by the outstanding service and food. We are only staying tonite but surely on a return trip this will be our go to dining establishment. Friends brought us here to dine and it was a great experience. You gotta try the Rogue Burger, I did and it was epic! One of the better burgers I've ever eaten. Burger pattie, chicken breast, fried egg, bacon, choice of cheese and other trimmings. Serious eats but very good. My wife had a pretty simple dish of grilled chicken breast, real mashed potatoes and veggies which she said was very good!! Ambiance was great they offer alcohol. Don't usually do reviews but I'm so glad I stopped here. What an experience, I'm from New England so when I was recommended the Chicken Parm I really was not expecting anything extraordinary. It was!!!! As was the hanging bacon and decadent dessert. Everything including the service, Bar top, and small town center ambiance was top notch. They were really so nice there. I've been on the road in 7 states in the last three weeks traveling the country, have had a lot of great meals but this was Top Tier so far and so so unexpected. read more

I really loved the decor, made me feel right at home, and each time we went, lunch dinner and brunch last weekend, the flavors made us begging for more, the brussel sprout app and the steak tips app were amazing! I heard this was a very good restaurant, I read the reviews so I made reservations for my husband and son in laws birthdays. We were seated and after drinks were ordered the waitress proceduded to tell they have no firecracker shrimp, no pork chops, no steak which we're all the main reason we went. Feeling trapped because we had drinks coming we ordered food, I had the grilled chicken which was extremely dry, my husband had the rogue burger which the chicken was cold the bun was stuck to the plate. My daughter in law had parmesean chicken with very strange pasta noodles not very good. The waitress took all our plates and silverware then offered a free dessert which was nice, but no silverware to taste it with, good thing though it was terrible (except the brownie) I think it would have been a better birthday dinner if we would have walked across the street to the chuckwagon. Carol, we're not informed when we sat down, we tried to be kind to the waitress because it was not her fault, we were given no silverware just one pair of tongs for four people.
