Yelp reviews brought us to Main Street Eatery, for good or bad. We were seated after a short wait, we got waitress service after about five minutes...service got better from that point on. I ordered the Chili Size (Chili Burger) with tots. The food came out very soon after ordering, I wish it took a while longer. Everything was basically room temperature, the burger, tots, and chili which isn't desirable to me. The chili was canned, the burger did not taste very fresh (a little off) and the tots were lukewarm with an undesirable flavor from the oil they were cooked in, Overall, besides the waitress service, not a great experience. I have eaten here many times and this review covers them all. This is a great place to come and get a home cooked meal like mom used to make. It has a simple menu and the food is very comforting. I have never had a bad meal here and the service is always good. I do have a favorite breakfast meal called the hobo and if you want something different you should try it. The service is quick, the food is good. What more can I say other than if you are reading this you should give them a try. They are usually only open for breakfast and lunch with some dinners here and there. read more

Fast food gets really boring really fast, especially on road trips. Thank goodness Main Street Eatery isn't located too far from the freeway. This cute mom and pop shop serves a variety of good eats ranging from different types of burgers to sandwiches to salads to breakfast items (only available between opening to 11am). I stopped here yesterday (Tuesday of Thanksgiving) at around 1pm. You're suppose to seat yourself, but the staff came by quickly. Michelle was very patient and courteous, turns out she's the owner and shared her story of how Main Street Eatery opened! I'm surprised that this use to be a hot dog stand! I ordered the 1/2 veggie quesadilla with a side salad. The portion was huge, I ate 2 out of the 4 slices and boxed up the rest. I liked how real mushrooms and bell peppers were used and the entree tasted similar to home-cooking. Many places use canned ingredients, but at Main Street Eatery, you get the real deal. Restrooms are inside the laundromat next door, but they also share a door so you don't have to go outside. Ample parking, I'll be back again if I'm passing through. The place is the best stop in Quartzite for solid home cookin'! It's our favorite stop when traveling between AZ and CA. The food is great the service is ALWAYS friendly and you may wait to get seated, but your food will be served in a timely fashion and always good and hot! We tried this Restaurant today. The staff is very friendly and on the ball. Checked on us several time to make sure we had anything we wanted. Sooo disappointed. Used to be a decent cafe. Not anymore. Today I ordered the "Taco Salad" $9.95. It was on a small salad plate, no taco shell. I like this place I go there often when I'm in Quartzsite. the breakfast is good so is lunch, never really had dinner there . but they often have specials like turkey dinner that's pretty good. Often the dessert is good. The people here are really nice never seen a grumpy waitress and often you get free coffee. read more

Passing through Quartzsite, my expectations of finding a decent restaurant was about nil. And entering the parking lot shared with the town laundromat didn't exactly help matters. The decor of the restaurant is nothing to write home about but it's very clean and the service we recieved was very good and friendly. And the food wasn't bad either. Well priced too. It's a bit weird being told to get to the restrooms you enter the laundromat and head toward the showers. Showers? Hm....interesting, but it was better than a truck stop at least. read more

For Quartzsite this place is 5 stars!! Plop it down in any normal big city and it would probably be 2 or 3 star... but since we are talking about Quartzsite it is probably the best in town!! This is a funky little mom 'n pop diner type place attached to a laundromat. The place is clean!! Our server was really friendly. We ordered 2 different types of grilled cheese. They were decent but a little too greasy. I think they use a lot of budder at this place! The French fries were good. We tried a bread pudding for dessert which they say is homemade. It was tasty and only $3.50! This is a good place to stop on your road trip to/from Arizona. It is a great place to 'people watch'... definitely a different world out in Quartzsite!! read more

Nice clean place with a great breakfast. We used to stop off at Tonopah, but decided to drive a little further. The staff was hospitable and the breakfast was very filling. What they need to work on is their coffee, which could be less watered down. If you have to use the restroom. it's in the other side of the building past the laundromat. read more

Great customer service. The bacon tasted like it was smoked and it was soo delicious!! We ordered pancakes, French toast, a tuna melt and a combo called "The Quickie". It as all soo yummy. The pancakes were buttery and hands down the best syrup ever. Our food was served within 8 min of sitting down. We had time to peruse their small store...with proceeds going to local charities. Stopped here on our way from Tucson to Bakersfield. What a nice place! Everyone was friendly and the food was good. We ordered the Chili Dog with onion rings and the BLT with fries. At $8.50 the hot f di of may seem to be expensive but it is a large, nicely prepared dog with really good chili. The iced tea was fresh and they gave us extra tea to-go. Traveling from California to Phoenix, stopped here for breakfast and so glad I did. I love local independent diners and this place did not disappoint. I had the Hobo breakfast and it was delicious with gravy over scrambled eggs and sausage. Our server Michelle was very polite and explained exactly what a Hobo breakfast was. I went to this place a second time and it's just as great. This is basically the only place I will eat when I visit my grandma who lives in Quartzsite. I had their lemon cake for dessert. So so good!!! We were just passing through and found this retro diner on our way to Sedona AZ. It is an older eatery so don't be shocked by the decor. The food is wonderful and so is the service. We split an Ortega patty melt that was soo good! My only complaint is the fries looked like they came out of a frozen food bag. The patty melt was worth the stop! Look... Its clean. Its close to the freeway. Food was fine. Classic diner/coffee shop. Went for lunch. They stop seating at 1pm! We sat at 12:40 so we were good. Chili was good. I liked this place and enjoyed my meal here. The server was very friendly, we were rolling through town after driving all day around Yuma and the Kofa Wildlife Preserve, and all we'd eaten for breakfast was a bacon and egg burrito, so by the time we arrived we were starved. We saw signs saying fish fry, so we rolled on in. We both ordered the fish fry, and even though I'm sure it's not there every night it was pretty good! The fish was good, fries had a good taste, the tarter sauce was good, the shrimp was good, the cocktail sauce was horrible but everything else worked well! I'd replace the cocktail sauce with something less stronger, but who knows, maybe it doesn't get used much? Not sure how often there are fish frys here.
