Great spot! My husband ordered the bacon Swiss burger and I had the Reuben, both were delicious. We both ordered fries, which came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The quality of ingredients really stood out, from Redmond's Real Salt on the table to the fresh produce on the burger, the flavorful sauerkraut on the Reuben, and even the salad bar, which looked fresh and high quality. Clean dining area and bathrooms, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be stopping here regularly when driving through Brenda on our way to Wickenburg. read more

I'm going to leave another review for Buckaroo for my last one was pre pandemic. This winter season of 2022, they have brought back the all you can eat salad bar & if you want 1/2 sandwich to go with it it's $12. They have a new burger that compares to a western bacon burger its called a cowboy burger, but I'm not 100% on the name, because it was suggested but not on the menu, I'm sure if you ask what's the new burger not on the list is called I'm sure they will tell you. I must add they have a little butcher shop meat section and the New York steaks are pricey but delicious worth it for an indulgence if you can afford it. The staff that work there are very nice & always willing to help. They have a small selection of beers and wines in a box and it's not disappointing for there is something for everyone. Winter season is their busiest until May, I must mention they also have Amazon recieving lockers outside the store if you need something delivered if you're living on BLM land or want something delivered discreetly. I gave it 4 stars due to the dirt parking situation, uneven & people come in quads kicking up dirt from the surrounding areas. read more

I sincerely recommend Buckaroos because of their food, service, and ambiance. The food there is to die for they have a lot of food to chose from like ice cream were they have a good amount to chose some and they add new flavors to them to spice things up and the scoops are giant just one = a full bowl, a cheeseburger for your kid(s) (if you have some) or for you, and sandwiches like A LOT they also make all your food with car! and there service is a little long like 15-30 minutes but only because they want to make it with love and care and there really busy so that just shows how good they are! We found this place via Google Maps just down the road from an RV resort where we were staying for the night. This was one of two places in town for food. The sandwich shop is located inside the Country Store (which is a cute little store with just about all the quick necessities you might need). The sandwich shop was a nice little find. Very friendly people and good fresh food. I ordered the salad bar which had a very nice variety of ingredients to choose from. All very fresh and delicious. My husband ordered the Turkey Cobb Sandwich and it was delicious as well. Lots of meat and good fresh veggies. He ordered the French fries as his side. They were fresh cut potatoes and very tasty. I would probably ask that they be done extra crispy because the cooler they got the more limp they became. I'm guessing a bit longer in the fryer would not only reduce the 'limp' but also add to the taste. All in all a very nice place to visit and catch a good lunch/early supper. Driving from Phoenix to Cali... Avoid the chains and check this place out. About three miles off the highway is the general store. Super friendly and the sandwiches are great. We just did the farmhouse turkey with slaw (made fresh this morning). Definitely a hidden gem. read more

It is summer and the store has a few items on their shelves, however there is no fresh meat or produce! And the sandwich shop only operates during late fall/winter months. The lady working the store was very nice and helpful. So, if you are like us, stuck while our 5th wheel is getting repaired (it has taken two weeks and we can not separate it from our truck), this store is the only deal in this town. read more

Their Philly Cheese Steak is unbelievable great sandwich 5 stars for it. I wished store would provide more convenient hours to shop. 9-7 just seems strange but seems to work for them. Driving by, we saw a full parking lot, and pulled in for lunch. Buckaroo's has a great menu and all of the food is fresh, incuding the salad bar. In the middle of nowhere, you find a great cafe. Stopped in on my way to Phoenix via Hwy 60. Ordered a Rueben. What a great sandwich! Service was good, people were friendly. I got it to go. Had lunch in the Pistachio Grove in Salome. Stopped on a whim during a road trip - ended up with the best burgers we've ever had. I had the mushroom swiss and my SO had a Double Bucker with bacon. Freshly made, great tasting quality patties with delicious toppings - even the pretzel buns were worthy of note. The fries are fresh cut in front of you, and dare I say trump In N Out's fries. We can't wait to go back, those burgers have stayed in our minds. Truly a gem and absolutely worth your time. read more
