I've heard about this place many times over the couple of years I've been coming to Quartzsite and I finally made time to have some breakfast here. The food was good and there was plenty of it. Not the best place ever eaten but if you're doing laundry is a good place to go have a bite to eat this place is just OK in my opinion.

You gotta eat here. The sausage gravy is the best this side of the Mississippi. The Quartzite Benedict is my recommendation. Will fill you up and keep you fuelled for the day. I had the prime rib and garlic mashed potatos. The prime rib was very good. It was so flavorful and moist. The garlic mashers were great with it too. I then had the apple crisp which was great. They use the freshest ingredients, which contributes to everything being so good. They always have friendly, fast service too. The coffee is free with every meal which is nice. Give this place a try when you are in Quartzsite for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed. read more

This cafe was better last year. Going downhill in food quality & quantity while prices are too high for lunch. Southwest beef grill has very little meat and skimpy on peppers. Taste was good though. Side of potato salad was good but serving was tiny. $12 too steep. read more

5 stars!! The kids all give 5 stars! What a wonderful experience we had for breakfast! The pancakes were perfect, thick, fluffy, chewy... the best I've had in a very long time. The corned beef hash had the right amount of crispness to it, just the way I like it. my youngest daughter enjoyed her omelette. My son said his chili omelette was really good. There were absolutely no complaints from any of us. THE BEST part is how amazing our server ( I think she is also the owner) was. She was so welcoming and so attentive. Our kids picked Quartzsite for their spring break vacay spot and they all had so many questions. She took the time to answer all of them! We left full and educated. We talked about what a great experience we had there all weekend long. This will be our spot whenever we return! read more

We are at Avi and just had a patty melt. Nothing to compare with the Eatery's. My Granddaughter Christy said that the Eatery's patty melt is the best....everything is first rate at the Eatery. The service is excellent. read more

Looking at the other reviews here one would get the impression that the Main Street Eatery is "Fine Dining" and is worth 5 stars. By Quartzsite standards it probably is! But if you broaden your scope a bit I think that might be a tad high. We have eaten here a number of times and have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The other reviews are correct in saying the service is good and very friendly. The food itself is decent and freshly prepared but not 4 or 5 stars. We were there last week on fish 'n chip night and it was disappointing. The French fires were good as was the coleslaw. The fish however was overcooked and tough. I understand they were busy as Quartzsite is starting the Silly Season but that is little excuse. We will eat there again because it is one of the best of the choices in town but not 5 stars. read more

In Quartzsite, this is an awesome place! Just had wonderful breakfast. Free coffee with your meal. The special today was Biscuits and Gravy with 2 sausages and an egg. My hubby said They know how to make gravy! Was delicious. I had eggs bacon and hash browns. Cooked perfectly. The food was to us really quick. The owner Michelle was also our server. What a sweetie! We took a chance on having Breakfast here on our way from Phoenix to Los Angeles and discovered that this unique Family Owned Business was perfectly set up with Great Food & People. Very Clean! It also has the convenience of Showers & a Laundry Mat for those extended travelers that Camp out with their RV's during the cooler months. We will definitely be back!! read more

This place was great. We were on our way out of Tucson and decided to stop in Quartzsite to get some brunch. I loved that it had the feel of a diner. OK - I'm a snowbird for the first time in Quartzsite and been sampling Fri Fish Frys while here over the past 5 months. This is the best in Quartzsite, especially heath wise - it's baked Alaskan Cod and totally Delicious! Pretty awful. Stopped here for lunch on our way from AZ to CA because it had 4 stars on Yelp. Limited menu. Unappetizing burgers. Side salad was served with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, 2 hard boiled eggs & a pile of slightly moldy cheddar cheese. You're better off going to McDonald's up the road...and I hate McDonald's. Two stars for friendly staff, zero stars for food. I ordered a bowl of chili and it is straight out of a can, with some cheese and onions sprinkled on top. The mushy kind with questionable beef and brown sauce. We also ordered a few other items, but none of the food here is fresh or homemade. Food is OK. I ordered the ground beef with grilled onions and mushrooms , salad and grilled vegetables. All was good except the vegetables. Be warned, their version of vegetables are more grilled onions and sliced bell pepper. What ever happened to REAL vegetables such as zucchini squash, carrots, broccoli?
