This is a newer location that used to be another diner prior to them taking over. They have another location in town, but wanted to check this one out! The restaurant is family-owned and operated. We were seated right away and a young girl took our drink order. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. I'm a creature of habit and ordered bacon, eggs and hash browns with sourdough toast. Everything tasted great!

Stopped by for the opening of the new Mountain Quail Café in Quartzsite, and they absolutely nailed it. The remodel looks fantastic -- bright, clean, and welcoming -- and the staff made me feel right at home. I've been eating at their original location for years, so I already knew the food would be good. The Smashburger I had was delicious and cooked perfectly, and their menu is massive -- you can find just about anything you're craving. Anna was my server and she was awesome. This new spot is right on Main Street near the Fresh Jerky place -- definitely worth checking out! OPEN 7 Days from 7am to 7pm.

Cheeseburger with tots. Pretty tasty.

Basic all American diner with all the fixings. Really sweet waitress. Not bad atmosphere. Nice and cool inside. Food was your basic foods. Not bad. If scrambling for something to eat since there really isn't a lot to choose from, hit em up. My companions had the omelet and the other had eggs with corn beef hash. No.pics but hearty portions.

Hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli and cranberry sauce.

Coffee was good, besides not getting a spoon to stir my coffee, that's okay. Coffee was great nonetheless. Breakfast was really good too. HashBrowns was cooked to perfection. Eggs were cooked well too and toast was delicious for sourdough, except I would have liked more butter, but that's okay too. This place is located right next door to a Mc Donald's- (Dick move on corporations) I suggest you give this place a try while driving through Quartzsite for breakfast. A local mom and pop shop that deserves support for a tasty meal.

I was so disappointed today and it pains me to write this review. But unlike other times, this…read morevisit will be our last. There was only one server, Josh, running the entire front of the house by himself. Apparently this is customary on Wednesdays. Before he could seat us, he had to clear off a table. Several tables were just in disarray and when people came in, this poor man had to scramble to clean something off. I went to the bathroom and one stall had absolutely no toilet paper or covers. And one dispenser had no soap. The bathroom was just yucky. When I came back, we still didn't have menus or drinks. When our food came, we asked for condiments that took too long that we ended up taking them from another table. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The cook gave me a stale biscuit that just ruined my meal. I couldn't eat it or ask for it to be remade because Josh was too busy to check in on us or refill our drinks. I told him when he came to pick up the plates. He apologized, but he didn't remove it from the check. I paid $10 for a meal I couldn't eat. We got a piece of pie and the taste was kind of weird...like it had been freezer burned and then defrosted. The whole experience was disappointing.

Looking online it seemed this was the only place open so I wasn't expecting much still happy to go somewhere. I was pleasantly surprised. The vibe was family-friendly in the restaurant side and just had an all around comfortable feeling. I sat at the bar and was greeted by sunshine in human form. Marsha is what customer service is all about. And the BLT I got was delicious! I always stop and do the tourist thing when driving through and now I will make this gem a must do everytime. Thanks Marsha!

The pizza was just okay, but the service attitude was extremely bad I will never come again!…read moreHere's what happened: 1. The server seated us at a two-person table that was very wobbly. At the time, I didn't think much of it, but looking back, it felt intentional. 2. We arrived at 12:45 and ordered a medium-sized pizza and one Coke. After she brought the Coke and water, we waited until 1:20. I asked another server about our pizza, and she said she would let our server know. After another 8 minutes, our server came over, expressionless, placed the pizza on the stand, and walked away without saying a word. At that point, I thought maybe she was just busy, so I didn't think much of it. But when we finished eating, my husband went to the restroom, and I got up to pay. I was looking around for our server when I saw her walking straight toward me with the bill and a plastic takeout box. Without saying a word, she placed them on the table and left. It felt incredibly rude. Now I feel like she was inexplicably rude to us the entire time, and I suspect it might be racial discrimination. Either way, I will never go back to this place!

I made a "sandwich" with my bread, sauce, tritip and coleslaw!!! Yummers!! We kept commenting on how good and hot the fries are! After spending a hot day on the cool river, soon after lunch, we were excited to have this planned for dinner. We arrived 20 minutes before closing on a Saturday night and Michelle graciously seated us and fed us some fabulous food! She's a gem! We are so thankful for her kindness and patience, plus the great food didn't disappoint! We walked from Days Inn and appreciate how close by it is! If driving to eat there I noticed it has great parking! It's a very clean restaurant, yummy tasty hot dinner, great cold beer, and authentic kind staff! Thank you for the surprise one of a kind, "hole in the wall" special Blythe dining experience! Make sure to stop by coming or going, plan to eat here after spending a day on the river, or swing by to support some great people. Your full belly will be thankful you did! We feel great after eating at Rebel BBQ and appreciate the quality of the food. I'm very sensitive to non home-cooked meals and am grateful to not be suffering from usual eating out "bubble guts" ! Hahaha. Thanks again Michelle! Until next time!! Wooohooo for Rebel BBQ!!

Sadly once again I got burnt by bad BBQ and I regret even stepping foot into this place…read more I should have been forewarned about this place as soon as I got inside the restaurant. First off the place was empty and secondly none of the food looked inviting. The only reason I picked this place was based on the good reviews but I should have looked at the worst reviews first. This was just plain garbage and an insult to anyone believing they are selling authentic BBQ. The St Louis style ribs were dry and uneatable. Their garlic bread basically was a stale hot dog bun and the coleslaw was the only thing somewhat decent but bland. The only thing decent in this place was the service but that didn't save it!

Everything was tasty but I would make a few recommendations:…read more One is change the fake butter flavored spread or whatever it is that is used on the texas toast/sandwich bread - it cheapens the quality of your "homemade" food. Second, check the salad mix for rusty/brown/wilted bits - it totally killed the excitement I had to find your ranch dressing is yummy (i.e. not that cheap weird tangy crap many restaurants use) and my salad had ham bits but then it had like a 1/3 bad lettuce that I had to remove. Lasty, even though it's the end of the day and I know you are tired - front of the house customer service is equally as important to me as the quality of the food. It's imperative to be pleasant always and not make the customer feel like they are putting you out or burdening you - smile more at the very least - make me feel welcomed and want to back. Okay, sorry... one more - no one wants tomato slices as their only side veggie option - they were mealy, went straight in the trash, and that's just wasteful for your pocket and mine. There is no shortage of mixed veggies (frozen or canned) and I would be more than satisfied to have that as an option with real butter applied. That's just MHO - maybe the town likes tom slices and I'm way off... idk - I just didn't get it and I'm not a fan of that veggie option. Now the goods - prime rib was very flavorful (not quite med-rare as requested but the flavor made up for it), fish n chicken tenders was a good portion (though I don't think I was supposed to get 2 fish/2 chicken filets - it was still yummy along with the tarter sauce, and the salad with ham bits made me very happy... plus the ranch was quality (tasted like the good Ole hidden valley ranch dip packet w/sour cream which far exceeds that other bottled junk including the bottled version of its own, lol). Ambiance was fine for a diner but could benefit from a sprucing up to more match the feel of the outside of the building. A spring cleaning and a fresh slap of white paint to pick everything up inside. I like the little "gift shop" in the middle giving more privacy between tables. Overall, Steaks n Cakes is a much appreciated option in Blythe where a lot of quality dining options are lacking. Thanks y'all!
