This place is exceptionally dirty, unorganized, and has no rhyme or reason, and I wouldn't have it any other way! It is a thrifters dream. Don't wear something nice, you will get dirty. If you have allergies, take a Claritin before hand. It is worth a visit, trust me! They have furniture, China, glassware, lamps, art, kitchen stuff, old nuts/bolts/fittings, old tools, and more. They have a little bit of everything. It's a labyrinth of small paths, dead ends, strange rooms, all full to the ceiling with stuff, literally stuff hanging from the ceiling.

Per their contract, Aunt Bees had 30 days to provide an accounting of everything sold and provide payment to us for 60% of the total proceeds. We did not receive payment within 30 days. We were in continuous contact with Aunt Bees and we received numerous excuses for the delay. As of today, we still have not received payment and all calls, texts, emails are now going unanswered. They sold our property and kept the money, they stole from us!

The estate items were from a multi million dollar property with very expensive furniture. The clientele we needed to target was discussed prior to the sale. We discussed targeting people who could afford to purchase high end furniture (ie. people who owned summer lake homes or who were building a new home). Most of the items came from Restoration Hardware, Arhaus or other high end stores and we needed people that were in the market for such items. Kathy assured me that she had the clients that were in that market and not garage sale and thrift store people who wouldn't be interested in these high end items. Unfortunately most of Kathy's clients were not in that demographic and never even heard of the stores mentioned above. The majority of the people who showed up were senior citizens expecting a garage sale or thrift store items that could be purchases for a few dollars. So very few high end items were sold, even at 60% off of the purchase price. Kathy actually bought most of the cheaper items herself that she priced down. Kathy''s employee actually damaged a $4000 leather chair and two night stands. There was no remorse or not even an apology. When I asked if she had insurance to cover the damage she said she did not. The entire experience was just totally unprofessional. They were very rude and not at all respectful of my expensive furniture. Sales receipts were just scribbled down on a pice of paper. Which I asked for a copy of the last day of the sale, but didn't receive until two weeks later when it came in the mail with a money order attached. Just a totally sketchy operation. I had the damaged chair repaired and asked to be reimbursed but was basically told it was my problem to claim it on my homeowners insurance. I recommend getting a certificate of insurance from whomever you hire. Besides from general liability for any damage they caused Kathy's employees should be covered by workers comp insurance through her company. God forbid one of them gets hurt while moving your furniture, you would be responsible.
