There are a few things that I loved about seeing Foram: (1) effectiveness. I had a number of ongoing, lingering dance injuries from overexerting myself over the years and never really adding enough flexibility, and Foram was always able to pretty quickly relieve pain in my movements and get me back on the dance floor. (2) Flexibility and adaptability. When I started PT, I had a thumb injury, which she quickly worked on. As time would go on, other issues would come up such as strains in my back, old issues with my ankles and knees, etc. And I would come in, tell Foram what was bothering me the most, and if it was something different than before, then she would focus on this. This might seem obvious, but at different larger PT shops, it was very hard to get treatment on something other than the initial diagnosis from the first reference. (3) AMAZING personality. Sometimes PT ended and if she didn't have another patient waiting, we'd be sitting there chatting about dance or travel adventures well past the session ended. Within a few weeks I was walking again but the best part was Dr. Patel was very focused on balancing snd strength training of my whole body so that I didn't end up with other issues by overcompensating weight and muscles in my body while healing. Dr. Foram took a very medical yet holistic/whole body approach that I really appreciated. Plus she is very friendly and makes you feel at ease making me look forward to physical therapy. Growing up around physical therapists (my mom is one and owned a large clinic for many years) I have seen the difference between those whole really connect with snd our effort into healing and helping patients, and those who do not as well.
