I was given a gift certificate for a pedicure by a friend as a "treat yourself" day since I just had a baby. Not realizing it only had a 6 month window before it expired, my time almost ran out and I went in on the day it expired to see if I could schedule an appointment. The woman who helped me would NOT make eye contact with me and she grumbled under her breath that i could make an appointment but it would only be worth a percentage of the original value. Um, ok. I made an appointment for the following week. After discovering I could not make the appointment, I gave it to my friend to use, explaining to her that she would have to pay a couple of bucks. Well, she went in and explained the situation and the gal said they were "non transferable." REALLY?!?!?? NO WHERE on this generic gift certificate did it state any rules. I am saddened by the rudeness and lack of professionalism this establishment displayed. They think because they are the only game in town, they can act like this?! Terrible. Don't flip people off while driving a company truck. It's bad for business. Oh well. Namaste.

Upon arrival, they always offer a beverage from their long list of options (and I of course always go with the wine). She gives an amazing scalp massage and has the touch of an angel. They carry a wide selection of high-end products, which makes it nearly impossible to leave without buying something. The products sell themselves, so you never have to deal with the dreaded pushy salesmanship you find at other salon establishments. I have entirely upgraded my hair care routine thanks to the help and knowledge of the stylists at Lit! I adore the Kevin Murphy product line, and have also become obsessed with the scent of the Oribe products. They keep the Oribe hand soap and hand créme by the bathroom sink, so make sure to stop in for a little hand treatment before leaving. As someone who is very picky about wanting a natural cut, both stylists took the time to walk through various options and make me feel comfortable.
