Took our almost two-year old husky here for his yearly check-up and shots. Scheduling was a breeze. The staff was very friendly over the phone and was transparent about the costs. We arrived on a Thursday morning. Ample parking available behind the building. Poop bags and trash cans were available in the parking lot. We were immediately greeted upon walking in. We were about 5-10 minutes early, and they let us know that they were getting a room ready for us. The wait wasn't long at all. The clinic was clean. The techs were very professional and knowledgeable. They explained what to expect from today's visit and that Dr. Goodwin would be seeing us. Dr. Goodwin was wonderful. She, too was very knowledgeable. She was very familiar with huskies because she grew up with them. She answered all of our questions about husky care as well as pet insurance. She was very honest about them. We had a great first experience with Main Street Vet Hospital. Prices are in line with other clinics. We are glad to have found a good clinic to take our husky to!

Hello All, My black lab woke up not feeling well, he's great now. This Vet was amazing, the tech was amazing, just a real good place. The Doc actually cared about my pup! And price was amazing, not that that matters at all. Couldn't be happier! Thanks guys!

As good as it gets in this area... the best. The LKN area can offer up some pretty high end options for healthcare and pet care... shoot, even plant care. MSVH does a phenomenal job of providing the best care with the best experience. My dogs have been going to MSVH for a few years now and the experience has been above and beyond what previous vets have provided. Don't get me wrong, every vet I have been to has taken great care of my dogs but Main Street just takes the cake. The staff are phenomenal, making sure your pets feel safe and comfortable while they are being treated. They also do a great job ensuring owners feel comfortable as well, educating on you on the treatment options and providing best practice judgement. There are many great options for veterinary care in the LKN area but if you want great people too... check these guys out.

    Seriously, this is stinkin precious

{{Update}} I really have to thank the wonderful staff for allowing me to drop Sugar off at 5:55pm when cut off time is 5:30pm a couple weekends ago. I was stuck back a really bad wreck & had called to let them know I couldn't make it but they told me if I could get there by 6 to come on, if not just bring her the next day. We were very grateful. Very pleased that they don't like letting pets hang out up front, they immediately take you & fur baby to a room. Definitely cuts down on anxiety for my Sugar. The staff was amazing, Sugar loved them & they loved Sugar. So glad we found this place since we just moved here.

I can't say enough about this place. The staff is wonderful, doctors are great and my dog loves everyone here. I highly recommend this team for your pet's care.

They literally saved our cat's life with emergency surgery. Main Street also nursed back to health our rescued German Shepherd who came to us underweight and infected with heart worms. Not only is this the most reasonably priced veterinary hospital in the area, it also has compassionate, skilled staff. They are wonderful people and great veterinarians.

That's usually when our dog seems to have issues, too, when our usual vet is already closed. No matter who we have seen--or at what time--we have received exceptional care at NMAH. So far, we've seen Dr. David James, Dr. Paul Kritzinger, Dr. Schaff (now retired), Dr. Kimberly Renehan, Dr. Rachel Spickler, Dr. Katie Blackard, and Dr. Anna Shaffer. The doctors are extremely thorough, and we always leave feeling like JoJo has been well cared for. They are also great about emailing us visit summaries and aftercare instructions, and they share details of our visits with our usual vet to ensure communication of her treatment plans. My foster pit was with them about 12 years ago, and even then I saw the depth of their commitment, compassion, and integrity. They advocate, problem-solve, network, fundraise, transport, foster, and emotionally carry cases that most people would walk away from. They step in when animals are overlooked, misunderstood, or discarded, and they do it with care, patience, and respect for both the animals and the humans involved. Rescue work is exhausting, thankless, and often met with criticism rather than support. Some people that frequent the spot, let their dogs become aggressive and don't curb or police them. Others , are blindly yapping away when their animal is pissing and crapping in the play area and fail to clean it up like you are supposed to like us responsible owners do. Most people are friendly but, it is mainly for more than one person. They have TV's but, there is so much activity where they are located that it is hard to focus. If you are alone it can be boring except for the fact your dog is enjoying it (which I guess is the point!) The bar used to be hit or miss but has improved. While a I know this isn't a place you should be going to get tipsy even , I mean I get it , it's a dog park but when I have ordered a shot or two of whiskey with my beer , I was really ripped off more than a couple times by two specific people. The bar manager is great and I think she corrected the light pours, which is great because the alcohol there isn't cheap. I'm not ragging on the bartenders though - all of them are nice and polite. I have only limited experience with the Doggy Daycare and while I don't know what actually goes on back 'there' my dog seemed to be happy when picked up. I will say one of the young ladies who normally checks me in young, with mid-length blonde hair was not very friendly. It was like 8AM and it's Doggy Day Care and isn't cheap , probably be a bit friendlier to the customers. Other than that , it's a decent place to enjoy an afternoon with a beer, or not, while your pup plays and socializes with other dogs. Just wish some owners would be more attentive of their dogs behavior - most are! Recommend checking this place out.

100% 5+ star review for Banfield-Cornelius!!…read more We'd been customers/patients of Banfield for 20 years, with multiple pets; most recent location for 10 years exclusively. We'd followed a beloved vet from one location to a new stand-alone. However, she left that location unbeknownst to us. We stayed on board there, but realized over time the care just wasn't the same. We were ready to sever our connection with Banfield once current wellness plans ended. Fast forward to last week and today. One of our pups had her routine dental last week, and then a week to date swelled up like a puffer fish. I called our usual location thinking that since they'd done her dental, they'd want to see her for reaction. Only, they offered for us to drop her off or to call another location. We were absolutely not interested in dropping her off given the acute situation. Perturbed and concerned, I called another location equal distance from our home. That's when we became acquainted with Dr. Vasquez and the wonderful techs at Banfield-Cornelius (Jennifer this morning!). They saw her Wednesday and assumed/treated for what presented as a possible bee sting. But, the site continued to grow to an alarming point, prompting me to call first thing this morning. Jennifer heard the fear and concern in my voice and said "bring her in now". Dr Vasquez and the team were absolutely amazing with us and our girl. A massive abscess did in fact form on her neck. Aggressive treatment plan, but we left with hope. Even though our appreciation was expressed directly, I cannot share enough with the world how wonderful and caring this staff is, especially when having first hand comparison with another location. We are now forever Banfield-Cornelius customer/patients. Their level of care and concern is unmatched. Thank you just isn't enough .

He started panting and shaking-shivering Saturday and I called and was told to just monitor him last night I had to rush him to a urgent vet because he was shaking-shivering and panting really bad and making a crying noise..... the Dr at the Urgent Vet let me know tht the dosage given was too high and she examined him and he had neck pain which she believes could have been done the same day his leg issue happened so they gave him a sedative and muscle relaxers.... So today I called my Banfield location to speak with a Dr and was told she was busy at the moment but would call me today/tomorrow, I asked the nurse why would I be given such a high dosage for my dog she said she doesn't know but tht he should have been given 1/3 of the 75mg.... I said 1/3 would be 25mg and thts what I told the nurse I had at home she said she will have the Dr call me with answers I asked her to ask the Dr what are some side effects due to him given high dosage she said she was unsure but the Dr will be able to answer.... This is totally unacceptable because if a full body exam was done Thursday when I bought him in the neck issue would have been addressed I will never use you guys ever again and I have been with you all for 8 whole years!!!!!
