Pulled apart the burner and sensor, replaced a nozzle, and fired it up. We had hot water. Cleaned up the space, answered all of my questions, and was okay with me watching him work. Excellent! This company is awesome if you live in Turner or around Turner.....you call they come.....we are on…read moresomewhere around our 10th fill up most times they come same day within hours of calling but on the few times that they did not come same day they were here within 24 hours or so from the time we called...the drivers are awesome this last time they delivered my wife called at 8:00 am while I was at the Dr.....I was going to shovel out the path to the oil tank when I got home from my appointment....i got home at 9:05 they had already delivered the oil about 50 minutes after my wife called...the driver was very understanding climbed over the bank and filled us up....you most definitely cannot go wrong giving them a try....looking forward to being kept warm by them for many more years....

I recently ordered 170 gallons of oil, and their online portal quoted me $471.24 (which works out to about $2.77 per gallon). That seemed unusually low compared to the local average of $2.99-$3.09, but since their system confirmed it, I placed the order. When they delivered, they were only able to fill 134.8 gallons, but instead of honoring the quoted rate, they charged me $3.09 per gallon -- over $424. This was a huge discrepancy compared to what I should have paid based on their own quote (about $373). When I questioned it, I was repeatedly told the system was wrong and was essentially dismissed. Even a manager implied I was "confused," rather than acknowledging that their online pricing system gave inaccurate information. Mistakes and glitches can happen, but the way a company handles them matters. A respectful resolution -- even honoring the day's posted price of $2.99 -- would have gone a long way. Instead, I was told my confirmation screenshot "meant nothing" and that they would not stand behind their online system. Because of this, I can't recommend ordering from them. Their online pricing is not reliable, and their customer service is unwilling to work with customers when issues arise.

They refused to give me any contact information. My daughter moved into a home in January of this year, when she flew from Oregon to Maine to live with her father. Prior to January, they were living in my home under my care. These young girls are not seasoned renters; they are barely adults who were trying to build a relationship with Liliana's estranged father. What followed was a tragic and destabilizing series of events. Her father was arrested in March for domestic violence, and his wife moved out shortly thereafter. My daughter and I were both assured by him that he would continue to cover rent and utilities, as they had only just arrived. However, after his arrest, the court barred him from returning to his home. My daughter was a witness in the case. Since then, they have been left alone to manage the aftermath of his legal and financial abandonment. They are not responsible for the electricity as they were living WITH others. They are not responsible for HIS bill. All previous usages should be billed to the account holder. Especially since they have been told he was going to court to come back home. These young women are now scraping by with minimal income. I'm helping them as best I can with food and gas, but they simply cannot afford to be saddled with someone else's unpaid utility bill, especially one incurred before they ever moved in. But CMP put all of the usage in their name and now have slapped them with a nearly $400 bill! I asked CMP with sincere urgency and compassion to waive or remove the back charges from their account. They are not the account holders for the period in question, and holding them responsible for his bill would only further penalize them for circumstances they never asked for. They did not care at all and basically just shrugged their shoulders and said, "Oh well." If anyone has the board of director's contact information please send them this review. If only you could leave zero stars…read more I have never dealt with such an inept power company. Their systems are antiquated and constantly down. Their brown outs cause damage to electronics and their employees are slow to respond to power outages. As a result, I'm going full-solar just in order to keep from freezing during the winter. Do yourself a favor, don't move to Maine. Do yourself another favor and don't ever become a CMP customer. I must also mention the 40-50% rate increases while the service goes south.
