The kennel seems to be run by teens with little experience and not much knowledge of pet care. We always used to tune into the pet cams when we were traveling to see our baby and verify that cleaning and care were actually taking place. When we picked up our baby at 2pm there was dried food in her bowl and the kennel looked like it was not cleaned. It has been two years since the pet cams have been working and It gives me an uneasy feeling that this is intentional. We are actively looking for a new kennel and highly doubt we will use this kennel again.

They worked with me to find the optimal location for him in the kennel where he wouldn't have to see dogs and cats. They spent time with him every day and sent me frequent pictures and updates. Bunny diets are not easy but they followed my hay, pellet, treat, and salad feeding instructions so he didn't have any GI disturbances. Everyone I met was so kind, from the staff to the manager to the owner. They all really obviously care about animals and seem to like their jobs. I don't like to leave my bunny behind and avoid it if possible. But sometimes it's unavoidable and I'll be way less worried doing so in the future, knowing that this kennel is nearby.

As a matter of fact, he stayed on the phone with me for about an hour before I had to run and take care of dog again (this was a few days before we had to put him down). I was so heartbroken, my voice cracked a few times at the thought of losing my heart dog. But Roger stayed on regardless, empathetic because he, too, has been in my shoes multiple times. I still would recommend Roger. My dog's illness is still unknown, it could have been cancer or colitis that was unmanageable. The diagnostics were so inconclusive that we couldn't tell. But he did live until 11, which tells me the genetics are pretty on par with good bloodlines. Dog cancer is a norm in purebred dogs, so honestly that never frazzles me. But my GSD's genetics were still better than, say, a run of the mill American-line GSD or even a Goldendoodle. I should note, I have always been on top of my dog's health and diet, so that could have been a contributing factor. But you should be this way too, regardless. Thank you Roger, you and Dorothy always had my back and cared for Albi like I did.

I cannot believe that Oberon was the first one with Cancer & magically Rainee, also Roger's breeding was the second Cancer death ever in his lines. 2 Dogs with completely different types of Cancer, both from his breeding. If Roger was sincere, he has my cell phone. Why not call me directly... he called me when he was looking for a buyer for a male & female who did not work out for a buyer, to see if I knew anyone. And I did call people for him. This was before we lost our GSD to Cancer. I will not go into the rest of story. We are Not believing that lightening strikes twice in the same place, but has never struck any other of ROGERS Dogs. Sad that Roger could not do the kind thing & call us. If it was really Cancer one time in 27 years, I believe he would have called & even discussed his guarantees or opinions. Now with our Rainee dying of Cancer last year, I did not even bother to call Roger. I loved both of these dogs & don't regret buying them, but suffering through losing two wonderful dogs to Cancer deaths at 5 years old & 8 years old is horrible. I was once a fan of Rogers, but I am sorry to say that is not the case these days.

The grooming is equally challenging and you better have all your records and say nothing other than "my dog is fine" or they'll refuse service. And yes, they have refused me service after I drive an hour to get there. Everything this place offers you can get elsewhere better, including your local veterinarian and ordering online from Chewy. Avoid.

We scheduled an early morning appointment for 1 of our dogs, and were assured that our dog would have his haircut and they'd let us know when he was finished. We stayed out in the area, to pick him up when he was finished, but we never got a call. We went into the store to see what was going on, and found out that they had "overbooked" grooming appointments, and had never even started his haircut. They put him into a kennel while he was there, and they never apologized for what happened. We were extremely angry, and when we spoke to the manager, she didn't seem to care at all. We will never take our animals to get their grooming there, and have stopped shopping there as well.
