A few days before Christmas I went through Mainland Car wash in Texas city on Palmer HWY. The young man that used a brush on my car before entering the car wash hit the antenna & broke it. I went to Ford & ordered the part, which was $109.00. Ford told me it would be an additional $298.00 to install it. I went back to the car wash & spoke to a man & was told he was the owner. He copied the receipt & I told him I'd be back after the part arrived to see what he was going to do. Today he told me the car wash was sold & the new owner doesn't want to do anything. I will NEVER go to Mainland car wash again. I DO NOT recommend this car wash. I went there because they do the inside. Well they didn't even do the inside windows & I didn't realize until after I left. This new owner is not a very responsible business owner. Enter st your own risk!! WILL NEVER EVER GO THERE!! I had to get a last minute oil change, meaning same day, and I been to the oil change place before so I thought why not. The payment processor was down, so we had to walk next door to the car wash place to pay. No big deal. This is when I realized I should go ahead and get my car interior cleaned and detail since I have time. The ladies who help you decide were amazingly nice. I told her what I was looking for, she told me which package to sign up for. Very easy. This guy came with a green shirt while I was moving my things in the truck, hopped in the driver seat (while I was one foot in and one foot out of the car) and said he have to move my car up so they can hurry up and start. I told him hold on before he take off in my car and drag me. His response- "Well hurry up and get in then" Okay, still I did that. I noticed they were doing a basic clean and missed a few spots. They were literally done in 3 minutes no exaggeration. So I asked the same guy in the green shirt did I have the right package based off what I wanted. He immediately start yelling at me and told the lady I want all of this for $29.99 Now let's back up. Because I got an oil change at the place, they give you $16-$18 off. That's not me wanting anything special, I didn't even know about it. The people told me to show them my receipt and the lady told me that. So it's not MY FAULT that you have a deal to make the car wash only $29.99 Okay, so then as he was yelling I told the girl I will pay for the package that includes making sure no dirt is in my car. So if it's $80 it's fine. He was overly rude. The lady said why are you mad and yelling at her, she didn't do anything. Guess what, he kept going!! I called my fiancé on FaceTime and start trying to record cause by this time i fee threaten cause he's a man, surrounded by his people and workers, and he's following behind me as I'm walking to talk to the lady who placed my order. I asked can I speak to the manager to pay for whatever I want to pay for, he yells he's the manager. I said okay, then he yells, "MY WIFE IS THE OWER! Now I'm upset and hurt cause I'm getting treated poorly, and I say to him if you are so bothered about yal about to close, why would you accept my money and me as a customer? He still yelling. I asked them for a ATM machine so I can still tip the people who did the 3 minutes of work, they didn't have one so I went to the Bank of America right next to it, pulled out $20, came back and asked them to brake it into 4 $5 bills, and tipped them and left! When I tell you I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! Never get an oil change from that place because we had to pay inside of there, and I will tell all my family (I'm from the area) to NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE! The manager could've easily told me whatever he wanted without being in my face. What was more disappointing is he assumed because I had on a pull over and a hat that I wanted to be cheap? He kept saying what I wanted for $29.99 when I kept telling him I want the package that will clean the rocks and gravel out of my car. They started by brushing my dry dirty car... scratches obviously. The brushes inside the was didn't even touch the car. The roller dryers scratched my car. And it came out still covered in soap. They refused a refund. read more

I use to come here all the time and the people that worked here were very nice. Now most people are rude. The Hispanics talking mess in Spanish thinking I don't speak Spanish. I guess I looked a little white today.When my car was finished in the drive through car wash the guy that's suppose to move it just sat there with his head down while the next vehicle behind mine was about to run into the back end of my car. I had to run over there and say something. Then he jumped up and ran to move my car. For 30 bucks I could have done everything myself and maybe even saved some cash. And last thing. Be weary of Mainland Carwash: Manager is extremely rude. I had a monthly subscription there at the car wash and the workers took off the emblem that was on the car with the adhesive tape they use. I talked to the dealership to get a quote to fix it and the manager said he was not going to pay for it, and that it was an issue with the dealership. This is a 2019 vehicle. If I could give these people negative 1 million stars, I would. I have NEVER been so disrespected by a car wash business before in my life! I came to get the Best Wash (with coupon) and when I got there, I had to wait for an extremely long time to get my ticket. Don't get me wrong, I know that it takes some time to get vehicles in and out, but the fact that the guy who was giving the tickets to OTHER customers that came AFTER me ignored me is when I HAD IT. I had been waiting along with another guy for at least 10-20 minutes. A few other vehicles that came after me were serviced, even though I was there waiting patiently. I tried to get the guy's attention, because I was confused as to why he serviced others BEFORE me even though I was there first. He finally after the 4th time that I called him to get his attention, looks in my direction. But he WAVES at me and proceeds to do nothing. He didn't even come over to my vehicle to answer my questions nor help me get my truck washed. At that point, I had lost my patience and proceeded to the conveyer belt. What's hilarious is that when he saw that I proceeded on to get my truck washed, THEN HE NOTICED ME. He and his co-workers told me to reverse out, though NONE OF THEM HELPED ME. I took my business, cash, and vehicle elsewhere. NEVER AGAIN, will I stop by to patronize this car wash. Take it from me, take your money somewhere else. This car wash is ridiculous. I bought my car to get it detailed the lady said it would be about a hour. I came back and they couldn't find my keys nowhere. They said the keys was at the jail with a worker that went to jail.. the manager was not apologetic at all I waited a extra 30 minutes for a police officer to bring my keys. the general manager would not give any higher managers name and number .. this is really sad.. the idiots running businesses read more

You can't beat this place! If you shop at Kroger, they always have coupons on the receipts that cover full oil change, top off all fluids, free car wash, vacuum and hand dry. They are fast and friendly and a job well done! I will be back! read more

I took my 2016 Silverado there to get washed and they left a window down when they sent it through. Than they sent it to "detail" and barley got the water up. Absolute horrible staff and horrible service. I don't recommend them at all and would give 0 stars if I could!!!!! read more

The guy named Daniel that wrote my ticket was very unpleasant and rude. When I didn't want to get the higher price package here for an attitude, and when I went to ask him a question he acted like I wasn't talking to him for about 20 seconds then when he did answer it was rude. I thanked him and he never said a word or looked up at me. My car was done very well and I was extremely pleased when my car was finished. Have just returned from being told that in order to wash my Navigator, I would be charged an EXTRA $15.00 in addition to the cost displayed and advertised, which with the coupon I was using from the Galveston Daily News for $12.99. I asked the Drivweway "Manager" why I was being charged extra and he said because I had mud on my tires and wheels. I agreed that because of the recent rains we experianced there was some additional dirt on the vehicle, but I never get a discount for bringing in a car that is less dirty than the average or is just dusty. I have been using this establishment for many many years, and have noticed recently a decline in their quality of work, so I will no longer go back to this car wash....and businesses in Texas City wonder why they are loosing out to League City!!! read more

Best car wash and hand buffed wax! They even cleaned the inside of wheel wells. I couldn't ask for better attention to details.

The manager of this location is horrible and they have really bad service. All the workers there are little kids that don't know what they're doing and constantly damage the cars. They damaged the emblem on the back of my car because they taped the back windshield and then ripped it off carelessly and now I'm having to take them a invoice from the dealership to repair the damage. However, the manager is saying that his workers didn't do that when they clearly did because he admitted it the last time I was there and he argues that the warranty should cover it. The warranty does not cover that and I gave him the invoice and he's saying he's not going to pay for it so now we will have to go to court and take it to the district attorneys office to try and figure something out because it's not fair that it got damaged under their care. He already has countless cases of damaged cars and previous cases of harassing or assaulting females and being arrested so this is not a place you want to be giving your money to because their customer service is horrible!!!! read more

They did a horrible job vacuuming it out and i have smudges all over my windows. It took them over an hour to the inside but it was done half ass. I will not ever go here again. read more

Service was so bad its not even funny. Make you get a $30 machine wash before you can have your car vacuumed out for an additional $30 that includes washing windows, mats, and vacuuming. What you get instead is an argument when you don't want the wash just the inside done. And if your a woman they are disrespectful too. They wanted to charge me an additional $7 to vacuum even though its part of the Superior Interior ($30). Charged twice to vacuum. Once completed my windows were not even done and the 2 teens said the old guy (mexican that was rude to me) told them specifically NOT to clean my windows. WTH? Childish workers and on top of that they lost my car mat that came with the car - has the Vibe logo on it and particular holes to fit in the car...expensive to replace and the floors were still dirty. They said I only came in with 3 mats and that I had to prove I came in with 4. I told them I could go down the road to Jeff and Hughes and get a wash and detailed out for only $25. I only went there because it was close to where I was meeting my friend for dinner. The lady looked at me and said...'maybe you should have gone there.' Wow...
