They took over the spot that was formerly Sanitas Brewing when they closed a few months ago. Nothing really has changed, so it's nice to be back! Location is prime right off foothills and Pearl. Their menu is quite creative-whereas Sanitas had mainly the same beers week to week, Pattern Break seems to be trying to introduce some very creative brews. I started with a half and half of their Mexican Lager & Grapefruit Radler. They had a great balance and crisp taste. My friend got the Mai Thai Lager off their "Mischief Menu", which had more cocktail-type beers. They were very tasty concoctions! Next up I had to try the Horchata, which had a very unique taste and cinnamon sugar rim. Bartenders were super nice and I really enjoyed chatting with Calvin and Jonny and was so glad to be back in a favorite spot. Had a great chill atmosphere just like before!

Don't be tricked like we were by the Mai tai lager being listed as "with nuts", it uses an almond syrup so that just warns people with nut allergy's not to drink that one. I preferred the horchata, my husband preferred the Mai tai. Both were excellent, but I thought the Mai tai tasted more citrusy than like an actual Mai tai. The horchata tasted spot on though- I would get that all the time. Highly highly recommend and will absolutely be back to try more beers.

Good beers, a nice variety and I really enjoyed the amber IPA, a lovely west coast, pleasantly bitter - Called "Firefly." Our server was fun and attentive. Inside is a little tight, but they did a wonderful job designing seating to make it feel spacious while accommodating lots of people. I had Moondoor Dunkel because I love the dark beers. It was a nice Dunkel. The taproom space was very loud. There is no sound dampening at all so it was really hard to carry on a conversation. It was too cold and drizzly to sit outside as we would have moved otherwise. We sat near the door to the brewhouse. There were employees periodically entering and exiting the door. Whenever that happened there was a very unpleasant waft of off smell. It did not smell like wort or fermentation but more methane like. We finished our beers and headed out.

Sure it's not WeldWerks crazy but it's certainly more adventurous than a lot of breweries offering wise. Was a nice day so the patio was lively. The old brew house has now been converted to additional seating and it can also be rented out as an event space. They've added a permanent food truck in the middle of the patio. Burgers and salads but some nice side options as well. Four or five tables for seating directly across from the truck and some lower seats to lounge or chill as if you were around the campfire. Not needed for this year's mild winter but patio heaters too! Inside you've got bar seating. Plenty of tables both high and low. Even a quieter "kids nook" with some toys and a number of books. Huge perk as a parent is that BOTH bathrooms have a baby changing table! Small thing but a rarity these days. Especially having one in the men's room at all. Game and novelty vending machine adjacent to the brewery merch. They have a large number of board games for rent as well as hosting a number of game nights. Great space and vibe. A very mixed crowd of people and pets. Didn't mention this before but dogs are allowed inside AND on the patio. Long overdue for a return but really glad we stopped in today. Last time Odd13 was doing their own thing. During Covid they were bought by 4 Noses and now that's the whole Wilding Brands (Stem, Station 26, Denver Beer Co, etc.) They did have a few 4 Noses beers on but I'm glad to see they still have a healthy Odd13 selection. My objective to speaking with the manager (Lisa) on Monday was about a server who disrespected my…read morerequest on Saturday to open separate tabs for the guests at my table. She snapped at me and said one tab for the table was all needed for the table. I kindly requested more firmly that I'd appreciate my guests open their own tabs. The server replied sharply that their policy required only one tab to be opened and upon closing the tab I could split the tab with my guests. In that moment I chose to preserve the atmosphere in front of my friends , family, and my 3 grandchildren and let it go. Upon calling the manager on Monday, I spoke with Lisa. I was caught off guard with her defensive nature saying, I was wrong as I should have asked for the manager. Again, you think I wanted to create that type of energy in front of my friends, family and (ages 7,11, 13) my grandchildren. We were there to celebrate my nephews birthday and to listen to J Blackburn. The whole situation was offensive. The server may have the authority to manage the tabs but not to define my worth and certainly not the authority to diminish my voice (as you did as well upon my phone call). Must all be part of your protocol. I made a reasonable request and the server chose to decline it. I believe my request should have been honored - although the server who may have been busy, overwhelmed decided to follow what she believed to be easiest on herself in that moment. And Lisa, your defensive nature during our phone call didn't help. As you reviewed my bill with close to a 12 beers you again caught me off guard with your defensive nature. Lisa, sadly you never communicated you understood my position as the customer making a reasonable request, and again made sure to defensively communicate we received 2 free refills of soda (for my grandchildren) and the Arnold Palmer refill I was drinking being the DD. I was not questioning the outstanding service I received from the server who collected my final bill - I am mainly stating you have a server on board who communicated horribly and rudely as a server. You have to know exactly who I'm talking about as she stood out as a disgruntled server. That is not my opinion but of those at my table. Lisa, you ultimately never credited the dozen beers (or partial credit) that I clearly did not drink nor was anyone left at my table when I paid my bill.
