Been in Wooster area since 2008 and the places that I liked were: Ark; Cleveland Rd; Mairs Dr Redman's prices increased after a nice remodel, and also, my favorite staff members no longer work there. Cleveland Road, I enjoyed meeting them, but also after a huge remodel (they leveled the old building and built new) their prices went beyond my budget, and Mairs is like FAMILY to me ! Love Love Love them! But they are so busy, when I desperately needed vaccinations, spay surgery I had to find a back up plan. VOILA! New Pittsburg Vet Clinic. Alyssa is the Office Manager and a highly respected peer in my dog obedience competiton family of friends. Alyssa warmly welcomed me, and there is no looking back. I can pop in, and put one of my dogs on the scale at anytime. This is part of my dog training protocol, to acclimate dogs for being excellent little model citizens when we visit the vet. Dr Wiley has been great, and beginning of 2023 the addition of Dr. Laura Conley. We love the veterinary team at New Pittburg. They have been very accomodating during the past three years with me and the various situations that come with dog ownership and responsiblity.. New Pittsburg Vet Clinic treats me and my dogs with professionalism, respect, and compassion. We heartily recommend them to all of my dog clients. We also recommend and love Mairs... but they get VERY BUSY!!!!!! tough to wait 3 months for a spay surgery. We can have two favorites, can't we? Tell them BARB sent you!

Ark's medical staff has treated my dogs and me with empathy and compassion. Charlize and Ezra have received excellent health care. Drs. Wellert, Suttle, and Hoang have all taken care of "my girls." They consistently deliver accurate diagnoses and manageable treatments. Quality veterinary care does not come inexpensively. But having lived with my pets in Oklahoma, Indiana and Florida, I find this hospital's prices compare quite reasonably. From my experience, I completely differ in opinion from the last person to post on yelp. I would not hesitate to recommend Ark to other pet owners.

We paid $200. because they wanted to check him over even though they got the report from his California Vet. Always compassionate and always thoughtful about every path to keep a pet healthy. We just had to walk through our young cat getting lymphoma and the vets there did everything they could. In the end, they compassionately helped us with the end of his life. We are so thankful that they always take our calls, always have medication ready on time, and love our animals as much as we do!

I provided all the medical history needed and although my dog didn't have his influenza vaccine the Vet tech I spoke too told me specifically that they would still board him because the vaccine its self was inaccessible for the next few months and that they were accepting dogs without it for that reason. Forward to today, ( 3 days before his booking) they decided to call me and tell me they cannot accept him because he doesn't have his vaccine even though I cannot physically get the vaccine for him. Shout out to The pet hotel for not having their stuff together. I really appreciate how un organized and unprofessional this company is. 0/10 don't recommend If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Our SENIOR dog made it through the ordeal, but the issue was insinuated that it was our fault. We had dog directions posted online for sign in, gave them a hard copy during the drop off and explained them to the check-in person in detail during the drop off. They didn't read the directions!!!!! Luckily, our dog made it out ok after the vet in the hospital next door intervened. We also asked them to cut our dog's nails.To add insult to injury......$31 to have the nails trimmed! DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY PET HERE! Expensive and awful care. Learn from our experience and don't take the chance with this business.

It's unfortunate that the secretaries are so rude, because the vets and vet techs are wonderful…read more The first time I called the secretary sounded like they didn't want to schedule my pet and were trying to get me to take it to an emergency vet when they had never even seen my pet, and my pet was not in an emergency situation. I called another time and specifically said I was calling about euthanasia for my cat, and then when I was answering the ladies questions., She cut me off and said, I'm not trying to cut you off but what do you need from me because I have someone else on the other line. Not very compassionate when I was already upset about possibly having to put my cat down. Then most recently I called to let them know that I couldn't catch my cat for the appointment, and the lady said., OH, weeell... that was an extended appointment so that might have a fee attached. Her snarky tone sounded like I had done something wrong, and I told her it's common for people to not be able to catch some cats who get scared about going to the vet. And I said I didn't know anything about the extended appointment or any fee. She again said in a snarky tone that it's in all the paperwork and all over their website. I just looked on their website, and I see nothing there about a Fee. It may be under one of the line tabs, but that feature is currently not working. she hung up on me when I said something to her about her rudeness, and when I called back and asked if she could have a vet call me back, she said no, that she is not going to have a vet call me over something like this. she also told me that if I wasn't happy there that I should go back to the place where I was going. What secretary is allowed to say no that they aren't going to give a message to the vet?! this lady seems to way overstep her role and I think she loses clients for the business. Look at the other Google reviews that talk about the rude secretaries. This is sad to me because I really liked both vets. They and wonderful and spent good time listening about my pets
