We usually see Dr. Butera, who is great, but on this day, Dr. Butera was not in so we had to see Dr. "Toni." Before this vet even came in the room to my cat, the vet tech said bloodwork was needed. I said, no, she's dying, I just want her to get relief to get her to home euthanasia. Nope, the vet came in the room and raised her voice and I politely asked her to lower her voice Said she will be treat without blood work. I felt I had no choice and was held hostage to get my cat treated, so I agreed. Well, bloodwork came back okay. She then gave a steroid injection and antibiotic injection. We took our kitty home an she made it just a few more weeks and today we took her a new vet. This new vet really examined our cat and informed of many more things going on. The decision was made that today was the day we let her go... What I didn't say, is that I did call and speak to the practice manager. She took notes and said she'd get back to me. I did ask for a refund. Well, she called me back and no refund because I agreed to the bloodwork. I said you are not listening to me. I had no choice. Well, I'm no longer going to Mogadore vet and I'm telling anyone I can how poorly I was treated. Seriously reconsider getting vet care at Mogadore Vet. They are all about the money and not compassion.

She was having seizures I might add. She had also not eaten in 5 days. She would not open her mouth to the medication. I tried calling and asked to speak to the Vet, which they said he was unavailable. The receptionist/assistant was extremely rude to me showing no compassion. Out of desperation, I called another Veterinarian to which I explained what was going on. They saw her immediately and determined without hesitation, that she was very ill, which I already knew. They were very helpful. Unfortunately, I lost my dog. She went through unnecessary pain due to Mapleton Veterinary Clinic. If you're looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable office to bring your pet, I wouldn't come here.

She lived to be 15 yrs old and when she passed on July 31 St 2025 . I took her to the Veterinary on Whipple NW to have her cremated . At least they shown me compassion and understanding .

We also went through a terrible accident with our dog and had to put her down but the whole office was so sympathetic and even sent us a card. You can tell that they truly care about animals and give you the best medical knowledge. I've never once thought I was being sold anything I didn't need. In fact, Dr. Wade suggested once to hang on to some eye ointment just in case my cat needed it later. They are very fair with prices and I'll never go anywhere else!
