We knew this time would come and of course it was after normal vet hours. We called CRAH and the young lady who answered the phone was very informative and helpful as we described Buddy's condition at the time. When we arrived at CRAH we walked through the door and were greeted by a team of professionals. Yes, very professional and on it! I remember someone saying "is this Buddy" the moment we walked in and I hardly made it to the counter when another team member took Buddy from my arms to examine him. I am so thankful for Dr.Wiacek. She listened to our concerns and all our "great cat stories" with compassion and patience to help us make the best decision for Buddy's care.

Love Love Love them! But they are so busy, when I desperately needed vaccinations, spay surgery I had to find a back up plan. VOILA! New Pittsburg Vet Clinic. Alyssa is the Office Manager and a highly respected peer in my dog obedience competiton family of friends. Alyssa warmly welcomed me, and there is no looking back. I can pop in, and put one of my dogs on the scale at anytime. This is part of my dog training protocol, to acclimate dogs for being excellent little model citizens when we visit the vet. Dr Wiley has been great, and beginning of 2023 the addition of Dr. Laura Conley. We love the veterinary team at New Pittburg. They have been very accomodating during the past three years with me and the various situations that come with dog ownership and responsiblity.. New Pittsburg Vet Clinic treats me and my dogs with professionalism, respect, and compassion. We heartily recommend them to all of my dog clients. I took my cat to Mairs Vet Clinic about two months ago to get him checked out because he had some blood in his stool and he was drooling a lot. I wasn't sure if the drooling was an issue but I wanted it to get checked out. After his appointment, we were told all is good and no one informed me of any mouth issues. I thought it seemed odd, but trusted the doctor to tell me what they found as most people trust their doctors. Since switching vets, I had been thinking about bringing my cat in for his mouth again because I still felt like something was going on. When switching vets, I had to get his previous records from Mairs for my current vet. Remember how Mairs didn't inform me of any problems or concerns with my cat's mouth? When I got his records, I saw that Mairs had listed his oral health as abnormal. They mentioned gingivitis, plaque, suspected resorptive disease, multiple missing teeth, and a recommended dental. THEY TOLD ME NONE OF THAT. My cat's oral health is so bad that he needs all of his teeth removed. I'm so furious with Mairs and DO NOT recommend going to them. Do your babies a favor and take them somewhere you can trust. Not only that, but they fired my MOTHER as a client, because of MY personal review on this situation. Instead of making it right after costing me thousands of dollars, they can't handle a bad review based on legitimate malpractice, and fire the relative of the person who wrote said review. What a joke.

Always compassionate and always thoughtful about every path to keep a pet healthy. We just had to walk through our young cat getting lymphoma and the vets there did everything they could. In the end, they compassionately helped us with the end of his life. We are so thankful that they always take our calls, always have medication ready on time, and love our animals as much as we do!

Forward to today, ( 3 days before his booking) they decided to call me and tell me they cannot accept him because he doesn't have his vaccine even though I cannot physically get the vaccine for him. I called another time and specifically said I was calling about euthanasia for my cat, and then when I was answering the ladies questions., She cut me off and said, I'm not trying to cut you off but what do you need from me because I have someone else on the other line. Not very compassionate when I was already upset about possibly having to put my cat down. Then most recently I called to let them know that I couldn't catch my cat for the appointment, and the lady said., OH, weeell... that was an extended appointment so that might have a fee attached. Her snarky tone sounded like I had done something wrong, and I told her it's common for people to not be able to catch some cats who get scared about going to the vet. And I said I didn't know anything about the extended appointment or any fee. She again said in a snarky tone that it's in all the paperwork and all over their website. I just looked on their website, and I see nothing there about a Fee. It may be under one of the line tabs, but that feature is currently not working. she hung up on me when I said something to her about her rudeness, and when I called back and asked if she could have a vet call me back, she said no, that she is not going to have a vet call me over something like this. she also told me that if I wasn't happy there that I should go back to the place where I was going. The paperwork looked like a forgery. Name scratched out and rewritten in one area, address scratched out in another, no accession number from Coggins anywhere on the cert. These are all huge red flags for any horse traveling through FL Ag stop. Didnt realize there were all these problems until horse was part-way with the shipper. When I contacted the clinic, they refused to give me a correct certificate. Unbelievable conduct from a veterinarian. Office help was totally uncaring to the position this put my shipper in. They can hold you for hrs at the Ag stop and make you pay for bringing a vet on site. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.
