My poor terrified cat and I waited 2 hours for this woman to say: I can't examine her. She's hissing and may scratch, bite." She refused to do any type of tests on her and said "try and antibiotic" for my cat peeing outside the box. This was not my cat having an infection. This woman is too cheap to hire help in her own vet. I would recommend going to a vet who doesn't complain about their customers and is nice when you ask for help. This was a waste of me and my cat's time. She was NASTY!

Half the year my husband and I live in New Orleans and while my vet at the Cat Practice is lovely, care there is much more expensive. The prices the 85 year old lady quoted are reasonable, expecially considering she wanted her cat that had never been seen before, to get emergency service. You couldn't call a pediatrician off hours to see your child who had never seen him/her before; if it's really an emergency then you take them to the emergency room. Sorry; I'm feeling a bit indignant anyone would demean my beloved vets and staff!

The staff kept me up-dated & called when he was ready to come home. He was 11.5 lbs! The total cost was half of what I expected, a big bonus, and they put in him my cat crate for the ride home. The woman who dropped him off brought him in a cardboard box! I have since taken him back for his 1 year check & vaccines. Their staff members are kind, low key and efficient. They are not judgmental (at least in person, I couldn't care less once I leave) and the techs are super helpful. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
