This is a very fun store and the owners are lovely. I really enjoyed my experience here for sure. Where they fall short is in the quality of their fragrances. Many are clones of clones and really don't last long. They are also just okay at best. WOW! Today we walked into Maison d'Orient and was greeted so kindly by Sarah. My husband and I wanted to find a sent that we would enjoy together. We are celebrating our 15 anniversary and wanted lock in this time with scents we would remember. I have been looking for also a personal sent and did not know what I really liked. Tip: At first I thought the store closed early, but I later found out that when it starts getting dark, you have to ring the bell (on the right side of the door). This place is a secret gem! There are so many fragrances, you're sure to find something just right for you. The woman who helped me provided excellent and personalized service; she asked what scents I liked (and also advised not to smell everything because your sniffer will be exhausted). They advise to keep coming back vs try to smell everything in one visit. Solid advice! The prices are reasonable, and they gave me some discovery sets so I can explore at home to see what works best for me for next time. As someone whose purchased a fragrance out of panic, realized it's not what he wanted, and didn't buy another for the next five years; this store had everything I needed to buy not ONE, not THREE, but TWO new scents. And if you know me, which I hope you don't because that would be weird, this is some kind of accomplishment. You get a booklet of sampling tabs. And PENS to write down which scent you just sprayed. I've been to plenty of Sephori and I always have to ask for pens.. They have descriptions of top notes, mid notes, base notes. And if you are anything like me, you don't know what the differences are and you'll ask them. And they'll tell you. Because they're helpful. With a smidge of salesmanship that I've classified as "gentle and warranted". My wife says this place was a steal and that nothing smelled generic and that she loves it. I happen to be blessed with a good nose, and let me tell you... This store is an example how misleading Yelp reviews can be. Who rated this store, their personal friends? They make their own perfumes, and they are NOT very good. They just blend three notes and think it is a good perfume. And no, don't tell me that perfumes are a matter of preference. Even a kid could mix three notes randomly and come up with an equivalent result. Their ONLY success factor is sales pitching and marketing, and the fact that they charge $120 per bottle so people will think it is a real perfume. Why didn't they invest a few thousands to hire a professional perfume maker? They do not seem to sell any real brands by the way, just their own. You cannot design your own cologne! Don't know why they advertise this. This is false advertising . They need to take that off.

Avoid this bottle. The atomizer comes broken. Took my wife to find a new fragrance and oil. The oils are good but this bottle Zulfa its atomizer is no good. Took it back to get it replaced for a new one and it was exchanged. We were given a new bottle and later that evening my wife was going to try it out and when we opened the box again the atomizer was no good on the 2nd bottle. We went back again and requested for a refund or exchange for a different more expensive fragrance and the older lady in the back refused. They exchanged it again but this time we checked the atomizer before leaving the store. 1 hour driving not once but twice to the store at this point we really didn't want the same fragrance anymore just to avoid going through the issue a 3rd time if the atomizer breaks again. The young lady who helped us pick out the fragrance was very nice and very helpful. The older lady that came from the back who refused what we suggested was not too nice or helpful. We left the store disappointed. I was planning on buying more fragrances from them online but after this. I will no longer be making any purchases from this store. I was looking for a specific type of perfume shop in Las Vegas and I came across Maison d'Orient. I read some reviews and found it interesting. On my day off I drove down here (close to Eastern and Sunset) parked and went inside. To my surprise they had a huge display of perfumery. I was overwhelmed to say the least. A lady named Asma (Owner) and her husband Awais greeted me right away. They were calm and relaxed. They asked if they could help me and could see I was overwhelmed with what to look at and smell. They asked me a few questions about my preferences and then they started to really help me find scents that I liked. They have an enormous amount of fragrances. Now, keep it n mind, these are Middle East perfume brands. Many of which are original scents and some clones. As we went along smelling different fragrances I really got into a grove and narrowed down the ingredients I liked. The couple was super helpful and I ended up with some beautiful scents at fantastic prices. This is not your typical Macy's or Nordstrom brands. Not by far but they have lovely fragrances for all different tastes. Some strong, some light, some flowers and others citrus. They had some clones of high end niche brands that were spot on and caught my nose. I ended up with about 5-6 different fragrances and also got an incense burner with some different incense (they have that too). Did, I mention they are happy to give samples. They have samples of all kinds of line ups. Not cheap small samples but large size sample PACKS. I mean u could use these sample packs for 3 weeks. Overall, I was delighted to hand them over my money and walk out with a giant bag of products. They will also pack up purchases as gifts if that's what you're shopping for. They also have an online store and can ship. I'll be back soon as I have some more fragrances I want to pick up that I sprayed on as I left and now I want to add them to my collection.
