Nice interior, friendly staff, good location! We came in around 5:20pm and made a walk-in reservation for 6 very easily. It was almost empty when we came but more people started coming around 7. Still, it remained pretty quiet while we were there. Overall the food was good: the menu is expansive compared to a lot of nearby restaurants, portions are sizable, but it is on the pricey side. We got the beef flank steak (under "sizzling plates") with the shoestring fries and mushroom sauce, which was definitely the highlight. The steak-frites had very little flavor, we got it medium-well but it looked well-done. Another review said the steak here tends to lose flavor when cooked longer, so be aware of that. Burger was good, especially the sauce that came with the fries! Wouldn't recommend the pizza for the price, it was only okay but probably big enough for two people. read more

Stumbled in late on a Monday after an 8 hour ride from NY to QC. They were immediately able to seat us outside, among the other stragglers looking for a decent establishment open past regular dinner hours. Their menu is online via QR code, written in both French and English (for those such as myself whose French vocabulary does not go beyond greetings and essential phrases learned from duolingo) We got the appetizer trio and a few cocktails, all of which were good. My family and I were searching for diner, so we decided to check this place out. Immediately upon entering, a man who we're assuming was the owner asked us what we're doing here in an agitated and rude tone. I was confused because it's very obvious that we're customers entering a restaurant for diner. He then told us to leave, kicking us out without explanation or good reason. He definitely could've been kinder and explain why we had to leave. I'm assuming maybe they were full or too close to closing time, but we'll never know because he was extremely rude and kicked us out as if we had insulted the place when we just wanted diner. Took our order because we had enough time to thing about what we wanted to eat in that 15 min. Food came out. Good food thoroughly enjoyed it. We visited this restaurant/bar twice this past week. We left happy and full on both occasions. First, the drink menu is extensive, especially the gin selection. A sign outside said they had 200 different types of gin. That's impressive but it does make selecting one more difficult. We tried a flight of gins, all of which were unusual but great. I had a dry martini (gin) as well. I have no idea what kind of gin and vermouth they used but it was among the best I've had anywhere. My wife enjoyed the french martinis. On our first visit, we just had a couple of appetizers / small plates and on our second visit we tried entrees. Everything we had was good. I really enjoyed the New York Steak. My wife had beef tartare on a marrow bone. It sounded decadent. This was good but we probably would prefer the tartare and marrow bone separately rather than together. Ate here on our last night in Quebec. Very cute place, and our waiters were very kind. The restaurant was mostly empty, but we waited 15 minutes at the door to be seated. When seated, it took over an hour to get our drinks and food. Our soup was lukewarm, and my friend's steak was severely undercooked (blue). Wonderful find! Stopped in on a Monday evening in July, around 8pm, after being turned away from ten other restaurants who were fully booked. We were seated on the patio and felt welcomed and comfortable. The restaurant was full and buzzing, service was a bit slow, but not as bad as done of the previous reviews report, perhaps they are picking up their game for the summer tourist season. We ordered the Livernois Coquille (classic French Coquille St Jacques) and the Korean Short Rib. Both were excellent and we would order them again. Portions were large enough to satisfy and not over the top. What you would expect from a French bistro for a hearty meal. The Coquille had a light seafood taste, the ingredients were distinct to enjoy and brought together baked in a lovely sauce and au gratin. The Korean short rib was a surprise, not a typical Korean cut, rather a big piece of boneless rib flavoured with Korean influences. A melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked, braised beef rib experience. One of the best beef ribs I've had in years! read more

Horrible place would never go back. After a 45 minute wait for food (when the place wasn't even busy), we were then told just 3 more minutes. Alas, no food showed up still after 30 more mins. No updates, no apologies from them. We ended up having to leave after an hour+ wait. There's too many other good food options in the area.
