The rooms were Tuscan style architecture, which didn't get me too excited, but they were clean, and the bed was cozy and comfortable! The king bed room is quite large, and we got a room on the 5th floor with one of the best ocean view possible!! The beach and views were nothing short of amazeballs, but I recommend going to a different beach if u want to wade in the water and do shoreline body surfing. The beach has too many rocks that could slice you up pretty badly! The hotel doesn't have self serve parking, so you are required to valet your car. The hotel is very close to many ships and restaurants, so you don't really need a car if you don't plan on exploring outside of the main city limits of Puerto Vallarta. Hotel staff are all very pleasant and accommodating and do their very best to ensure you have a wonderfully pleasant stay!!

Eduardo and Antonio are excellent bellboys who remember returning guests and are extremely helpful. Aqua fitness was especially fun with Brianna and Gabi. The spa services were super-pricey but thankfully we were able to use some resort credits there. Pressure was way too soft for massages though, except for Petra who was very skilled. Swedish massages were a joke--just felt like lotion was being lightly applied to the skin. Beach massages for a fraction of the cost are truly the way to go! The hydrotherapy area is lovely, however, and Roberto is amazing on the men's side. Ernesto was super-helpful at water sports. Creperie should definitely open at 3:00pm vs 5:00!! Housekeeping is very thorough. Hoping Saturday fireworks will return-we really missed seeing those! The staff are very appreciative of cash tips throughout the day (we bring LOTS of $1s and 5's even with all-inclusive plan). Cons: Some maintenance issues were frustrating--broken elevator one day, air conditioning needed attention, as did broken makeup mirror. Planned power outage for 5 hours was very inconvenient. Hairdryers are weak, as is dryer machine for laundry. These need updates. And Check-in always takes way too long. Nonetheless, we really love this resort and hope to return time and again.

I was traveling there for a wedding and had requested months in advance to be placed in the wedding block as well as on on a higher floor, but was placed far from the wedding block and on the first floor instead, which ruined a big part of the trip. When I asked about switching rooms, the front desk hinted that paying extra would "fix it," which felt extremely unprofessional. Very disappointing. I would not stay here again, and I would strongly caution others considering staying here.

Pools were nice, heated, and empty. Open access to beach as well as provided chairs directly on the beach. Another huge perk of this spot is they have an all inclusive bar right at the pool which makes it so easy to get more drinks. A perfect stay if you're looking for a relaxing vacation. Note - I got our reservation through Costco Travel and it was supposed to include $200 per room that could be used for premium items. I forgot to ask about that so lost out on that credit so be sure to ask when you arrive about resort credit if your reservation includes it.

The hotel is super clean rooms and grounds. They have a bar but it was never open when I was there. There are lots of chairs and lounge chairs near the pool area as well as a little bookcase with books for trade. The hotel has a locked gate at night and a guard around. Rooms are cute with little deck. Rooms also have a Microwave and a little fridge. They offer very clean towels and soap and shampoo. I had my room cleaned each day. Will stay again for sure.

This place was great and we would totaly come back but the reason for my not so perfect rating would be because I got food poisining from eating here for breakfest. Again I was very lucky that our room was right above the cafe so I was able to get back to my room fast. If youre looking for a good marina location and at amazing prices, look no further. Easy walk to Romantic Zone. - Clean, simple room. - Good service. - Good restaurant. - Check their website for rates but also check other travel sites like Priceline and Agoda for better rates. Negatives: My room had a view of both the ocean and the Malecon. It was the least expensive room offered. It was noisy late night since the bars were still open next door. In the mornings about 7am the same bars would play music as they cleaned and prepared for the new day. If you are a light sleeper I recommend upgrading your room selection and not booking a town facing room. The hotel is oceanfront however it does not have a beach. You have to walk 200 ft to the next door property to access a sandy beach. The current is pretty rough and not recommended for kids, in my opinion. Overall: A good place to consider staying and I would stay here again for a couple of nights.
