I don't know what has happened in the last year! I did business with them last August; spent over $200 in having plexiglass cut for my display for my small soap business (JnJFarmKY.com) I get off work and home then clean out my wallet at 3am today. I pull receipt out and notice an additional $7 unknown charge. I look up their hours online and set two alarms to be up at opening to get this taken care of. True, my bill was only $40 but that's not the point. I'm a small woman-owned business and I'm being taken advantage of. I show up at 8:05am. No one there. There is a couple at the opposite end of parking lot saying they're waiting for the opener. I ask for a manager's name....Oh, I'm just the bookkeeper. So there is no manager. I don't handle that. That's not what I asked, who is the manager....she just walked away. 15 minutes later this gal hops curb speeding into the parking lot, parks RIGHT up front; in customer parking. I posted a picture of all the employees who parked up front so customers get to walk to get in the building. This gal FINALLY opens the door. I ask to see a manager, she said she's the only one. Fine, what is this $7 charge on my bill. It's a service fee. Where on bill does it say service fee? We always charge that. The bill shows what I bought, obvious tax AND an unknown charge, it looks like you're stealing from me. She said nothing is marked on bill. I posted bill, no you tell me...what does it look like to you? They just up and charged me $7 or is it a service charge? I said I want it gone, she said it's a charge for cutting the plexiglass. I wasn't informed and I'm not paying. She blinked then walked away and saw a guy walking in on crutches and starts asking him how he's doing. Now I'm still standing in the showroom floor! I raise my voice and say I want my money back, I refuse to do business with someone with such questionable charges and poor customer service. I'll find someone else to do business with. The guy looked at me and shrugged and limped off, book keeper behind window said we do need to inform people of these charges and the gal FINALLY said fine, I'll get your refund. As I walked out the door, the gal at the front desk said "Good Luck on finding someone to do business with." I was shocked..... As soon as I got home I found Woodbridge Glass, they charge $2 more per sheet, no "service charge" AND Majestic told me it wouldn't be ready until tuesday....Woodbridge glass will have it ready TOMORROW after 2PM!!! read more

Likely the worst customer service if any business I've dealt with in years. They are likely to be bankrupt in a year! It has taken a month to replace a small, simple window. They've changed the appointment several times, do not call you bank when they promise, and change their story with each subsequent conversation. They first told us we had to pay cash up front before the "parts" could be ordered to replace the window. We mailed a check, abd two weeks later initially said they had never received the check. But "oops" they had already cashed the check! Upon pointing that out, the receptionist conceded she didn't know what the status of the work was and would call back. She did call back with still no information on the date of the repair and a host of excuses. She then let it slip that all the installer has to go is come out and quickly cut a piece of glass to make the needed repair. Would have been nice to have gone that then on his last visit, the one that was delayed twice! And wouldn't a glass company carry GLASS? Still waiting on the job to be completed a month after our initial contact, two weeks after the first tech visit ant at least four contacts later. Today we were told that the previous serviceman told them the job was already done. Later, they called back saying they couldn't find our house on Longview Drive (which is in Woodbridge). That's because we live on LongWOOD Drive in Stafford. Of course the fact that they've already made one visit might have been of help. These people are pathetic! read more

We had a beautiful window put in a about 3 years ago in our kitchen. Unfortunately one of the side panels has a brown discoloration coming in between the panels probably because of the seal. I just called to find out that Majestic sold their business and I will have to pay the new company to correct the imperfected glass. I was very pleased until I now. read more

I have been sending clients and friends to Majestic Glass for over ten years. Always been top notch until this time. I see on here where they may have been sold. Makes sense. The estimate was like herding cats to get and only after many calls did it come to me three days after promised. Ordered glass and hardeare fixes for close to $1,000 and my home seller paid up front. Two weeks and no word so I call. No one call tell me anything but "Kevin eill call you back." Wait 4 or 5 days and call again. Kevin still calling but I guess my phone doesn't work too well..... Finally after almost a month I get someone who seems to know what he is doing. Agrees it is taking a long and will get answers. He does and calls me back within an hour. Because two windows were arched eindows it is taking longer. I was promisef the moment they arrive, install will be scheduled. Wait a week and no windows. Few days latet told they eould be here Wed, Thurs or Fri. Call Thurs and they are there but Kevin is not and he schedules eveything. Finally after multiple calls to get a time I am told "it will be next Tues (5 days aftet they are in the shop) before they can get to me. All paid and waiting over a month, delaying a home sale by weeks and they are too busy to get to me! Then Kevin says "we may not have the parts needed in stock and might have to order them." Over a month waitng he is just seeing if they have the latches we need replaced, a month after we paid, a month of non retutned calls and excuses and he dosn't know if they have 3 common tilt latches in stock...... Finally install windows and the three latches. But they replace one with new, replace one that is the wrong side (right hand on left side) and leave one broken one. I could understand if they were all over the house but it just happens they are all in the Master Bedroom and Bath. Three or four feet apart. Buyer looks at them and says not acceptable. I go look and go through the roof. Called 8:30 this morning for the owner. He is just walking out the door and doesn't have a moment for a customer. Crystal listens to me and promises to convey the issue and the owner will call me. 8:30 AM. Call Crystal at 2PM and she is suprised no one had contacted me. Puts me through to Kevin who says he just heard about it a few minutes ago. With no explanation of why they could not handle the task and a tech will be out shortly. I call back and tell Crystal I still want to talk to the owner. At about 4 I check the job again and it has finally been completed about 40 days after the first call. Crysyal calls me to confirm the work and is suprised no call from the owner so she gives me his number. Of course no answer. Left a voice message and an hour later still waiting. And now 9 hours after asking to speak with him, still waiting. Guess there are so many customers that they don't need referrals or long time repeat customers. read more

I have had Mike and his crew do both small and large jobs for me. They do wonderful work, quickly and professionally. The price is very competitive, and the personal service is commendable. I'd easily recommend them to anyone in the area. Mike even went out of his way to help me select the windows and doors that worked for my house -- certainly not trying to sell me the most expensive, but recommending what would work based on how we use various rooms. I've had them replace windows, replace doors, film windows, and today called them to replace a shattered patio door. I had my Shop-Vac sitting out, and Mike even vacuumed up the glass I had missed. read more

Don't do business here. I brought the furniture that the glass needed to b fit into. They did the measurements. Later I picked up the glass and it was too large. They refused to recut the glass and refused to issue a refund. When I refused to leave they called the police. The policewoman said she knew I was right but could not force them to refund my money or recut the glass. read more

Majestic Glass is under new management/ownership but still hasn't changed; their customer service is TERRIBLE! See my earlier review. The $1,000.00 window we bought from them last year has turned opaque because the seal is probably broken. They refuse to do anything about it. I MOST STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU SEARCH ELSEWHERE FOR A REPUTABLE GLASS COMPANY BECAUSETHIS COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF! (and BTW, if you do call them (don't please) make sure you speak with someone who understands and speaks ENGLISH!) read more

If you could give Negative stars then they would deserve -100 do not I repeat do not ever do business with them all they have done is change the company name so they wouldn't have to pay past due bills! We did some work for them a year ago and they NEVER paid and now when you call they just laugh at you and hang up. Worst Company to do work for or work with!!! read more

Majestic has closed, but the business has been taken over by some of the former employees (now called GH Glass and Mirror). We recently had them replace two very large glass windows in the roof of our sunroom, and they were friendly and professional and seem to have done a very good job. I was surprised by how quickly the glass came in (much faster than a previous replacement by Majestic), and the price was better than the Majestic price. Will definitely use them again. read more

We had a glass table top made at Majestic. Not only were they priced well below their competitors, but they also made a replacement better than the original. They used our broken glass as a template and it fit perfectly. We will be talking to them in the future when we do our bathroom remodeling and I would highly recommend this professional company for their great service. read more

The frame less shower enclosure that was installed by Majestic Glass was even more beautiful than I expected! The person they sent out was extremely knowledgeable about the different options available, much more so than the other glass companies that came out. I can say this confidently because the layout of our bathroom made for a difficult configuration. With the toilet being so close to the shower other companies said we would have to use a slider (which I didn't want) but by using a door that hinges on a fixed panel of glass they utilized the space we had to work with and gave us a door opening which was more than adequate. I would happily recommend them and take any opportunity to do so. read more

Not sure how this place stays in business. "Working" with them was a total waste of time. Had an appointment for an estimate for shower glass. Specifically asked for an afternoon time window since the bathroom was getting granite counters installed in the AM, and it's a tight space. Got a call the morning of the apptmt that they had to come in the AM. I explained the situation, and it wasn't ideal, but they came and measured. Then I had to follow up several times to get the quote. So I get the quote- and then I get a call back that they need to send someone else out to re-measure - with basically no explanation as to why. So then we schedule another appointment- the guy who shows up can't explain to me why they are back. Agin, I have to call several times to get the quote. When I get a call back, I'm in the car, so I ask if they can email it to me. I get an email with a photo attachment of a piece of paper with a bunch of messy, handwritten gibberish on it. I call back to try to confirm pricing- it looks like the frameless shower is actually cheaper than the framed one, which doesn't seem right. The woman I talk to insists that's correct- and says she'll have someone call me and explain it. TWO WEEKS later I get a call back, bringing the length of time I've been trying to get a quote to @ month. Needless to say, we went with someone else. read more

I can't rate this company on their work, but their CUSTOMER SERVICE is HORRIBLE like other reviewers have stated. I sent them an email message on a Wednesday regarding having someone come out to complete an estimate for my cracked windows. No one responded, so I called on a Thursday to try to make an appointment. The person who picked up knew who I was right away when I describe what was wrong with my windows. She replied, "I got your email message and I passed it along to our scheduler. He will give you a call today...umm wait...not today, because we are about to close. So he will call you tomorrow." I thought that was odd, because If I am talking to a person now, why can't you pull up the schedule on the computer and make an appointment? Why are you answering the phones if you don't make appointments? Customers shouldn't have to go through a two step process to schedule an appointment. I call then I have to wait for someone to call me back to make the appointment? Who does business like that? Anyway, I said this was fine and that I looked forward to hearing from someone the following day. Guess, what? No one called me on Friday!!!! I don't know how this company stays in business since they don't like to respond to requests for service. I read their other reviews before I called, but I thought I would still give them a shot. I should have just listened to what everyone else on Yelp was saying about this company, because it's 100% accurate. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don't even bother. What a waste of my time. read more
