I took my mom on her birthday to get a pedicure so we decided to try this place for the first time. As we walk in no one asked if we needed help or what we came in for. The girl in the front was slouching with using her phone. I had to basically say is someone going to help us that's when she asked what we wanted done. The vibe was horrible, we didn't like it at all. She did get seen right away after i said something it was just the customer service that's so bad from all of them. We felt out of place and unwelcome there. We are most definitely not going back and i wouldn't recommend this place at all. They need to really work on customer service and professionalism. My sister had asked for the coffin shape, and her nail tech did not file her nails evenly on the sides. My nail tech was shouting and laughing across the salon to her coworkers, but did not say a single world to me except for "color?". She also did not shape my nails evenly so I had to fix them at home. When I came back to remove my nails, a different nail tech was shockingly rude. This place honestly is the worst. Everyone literally is rude. You get huge thick shaped nails, colors comes off, the environment is uncomfortable. I asked for a marble design and hated the way she did it, I asked her to just please removed and she was so rude. Tina is her name. I also think it's dirty, pedicure chairs are uncomfortable. After I visit yesterday, I've decided to not come back here. I went to get a fill after getting a full set a couple weeks ago. When he started filing away the previous color I had, he immediately starting bashing my nails saying that my nails were too thick, big and the color was too light. I was completely insulted and found this to be unprofessional, considering the person who did my nails last time was actually doing someone else's nails directly behind me. Then, he starts cutting my cuticles (which I said I didn't want) and cuts one of them too deep. While he was using the file drill, he stops paying attention to talk to another coworker and accidentally hits my other hand. When I flinched because it hurt, he smiled and slightly giggled, not apologizing whatsoever. I typically like my nails to be oval shaped, which to me means straight on the sides and round at the top, kind of like a running track if that makes sense. I also tend to like my nails on the thicker side because I bite my nails and find thicker nails to be more resilient to biting. I told him not to file the shape at all and he immediately files them so they're almond shaped. When I complained that they were too pointy and repeated how I liked the shape I had before, he starts laughing in a way that I found to be extremely condescending. He humors me by adding more acrylic at the sides, but I left with a more pointy, tapered round shape and thinner nail than what I came in with and what I wanted. I asked for the holographic nail powder, which they call hologram and costs an additional $20, and was immediately confused by the sheer, frosty polish used underneath the powder. I know you can use whatever color underneath the powder depending on the look you want, but I said I wanted it under black so the rainbow effect stands out more. I ended up with a frosty, sheer silvery color so the holographic effect isn't as bold as I wanted. It looks fine but it's a little lumpy on my thumb and pinky fingers. At this point, I was too stressed out from everything going wrong that I didn't have the energy to complain about the lumpiness, the color or anything else. I really just wanted to leave and I know I would have spent more time in the salon for him to fix it. I still find what my previous review to be relatively true. They do a mediocre job on my nails for the price, my nails could be shaped better and they're sometimes too abrasive with their tools. The people there have also been relatively friendly and nice to me, except for the person who did my nails most recently. However, I have decided to go elsewhere for my nails because of my negative experience yesterday and the accumulation of mediocre past experiences. I feel like if I'm going to spend money on my nails, I should leave the nail salon feeling good about my nails and experience, which I haven't experienced here at Majestic Nail Studio. read more

Thankfully I can say the shop, staff, and service all left me with "my" new nail spot. Located in the Starbucks strip mall across from Shoprite, I didn't expect the store to be as large as it is. Over 20 chairs going at once between manis and pedis. Holy mackerel! I sat next to a woman who followed one technician here, and has been a faithful customer for 12 years. Yes her manicure looked great. I loved the back massage my chair gave me while my feet soaked and scrubbed. The color I initially chose came off the brush faded and much lighter than it should have, and my tech was a doll asking what alternate color I'd like her to grab. Round two executed perfectly. $20 for a pedi (soak, scrub, shape, paint), $25 for a deluxe pedi adding in leg exfoliation and moisturizing, $30 majestic experience gives a mud mask and oil massage. Despite the size it does get crazy busy and crowded. Appointments aren't a bad idea. read more

The nails weren't perfect but k went in on a Saturday with no appointment. 5 days later a nail lifted and popped off. I came in today 6/6 with 2 nails missing and I showed Cindy and popped one in front of her. I was asked if k could come back which I could not because I live far, my next available day to come in would be a Friday and I feared more nails will come off. I was told there was nothing they could do for me but try and glue a nail back on until I could come back. This is so unacceptable and I will let everyone know not to come here. This is not my regular nail salon, nor will it become my regular. First, I had an appointment at 9:30am with Kevin. I called and said I would be a little late due to traffic and got there at 9:40am and he began with a new client. Acceptable, considering I was late. I waited a few minutes and they offered to do my pedicure first. I got a REGULAR french pedicure, no gel, nothing. Then I waited about 20-30 minutes for Kevin to be done so I can get my hands done. When Kevin was done, I told him I wanted a REGULAR french manicure, which he said he doesn't do, so yeah, I waited for no reason. Then I got sat somewhere else for another person to do my manicure, which I then asked to pay, since I did not want to mess up my hands by reaching for my cash afterwards (since the lady wasn't helping me with any of my stuff like other places normally do) and she told me it was $50!! I had a REGULAR french manicure and pedicure... I HAVE NEVER PAID SO MUCH FOR THAT IN MY LIFE. My nails now are chipping and it has only been three days... I understand regular polish does not last very long which is why IT IS NEVER THAT EXPENSIVE. There was absolutely no effort in doing my pedicure or manicure, mediocre job, DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $50. This used to be one of my favorite nail salons, but lately..... their customer service isn't up to their old standards. I went 3 weeks ago on Saturday with an appointment for 9:30. I got their on time, & Tammy was fixing another lady nail, which that's fine. She was already rushing, probably since it was busy, but once again I had an appointment. I was there for a filing & to get my nails fixed since they were lifting. She was done at 10 ..... when she started around 9:35. Completely rushing. ( my lifting wasn't fixed & my nails came off a week later) When usually she would take 40 mins to an hour. She wasn't even done painting my nails till she made me move to the other chair for my toes, where she finished my gel polish. This place is a complete HOT MESS!!!!! They absolutely SUCK at doing nails. I got my nails done yesterday because I'm going on a trip && I wanted a fresh full set && pedicure. Yeah..,,....,needless to say my freaking nail cracked and the polish chipped on another nail.
