My surgeon recommended Shaira at Solo Wax for the lymphatic massages and the maderotherapy. She also treats seromas and adhesions which are very common after surgeries. The entire staff is discreet and the premises are pristine and safe. I came in, in extreme pain from the surgery, bloated with excess water, and Shaira made the bloating go away. Within three months of daily visits, I was not bloated and my lymphatic system resumed working. She also incorporates cavitation ultrasound therapy, and it made a huge difference. She also monitors the wounds and ensures they don't get infected. She is a licensed nurse in the US and in Europe, so you are in good hands. The maderotherapy is to break down the adhesions that may form when your tissues are healing. It works. I couldn't bend or stretch backwards, and Shaira fixed it so that now I can do yoga or even reach out to upper shelves or just stretch in general without pain. I love the waiting area. It is this neutral minimalist clean palette that just calms you down. You want to be there all day. No pop music, no staff members gossiping or talking smack about clients. Just pure calmness. As soon as she's done she disinfects the area and takes out the trash. The waiting area is plush and comfortable. She stated that the dingdong that sold me the package had copied and pasted the WRONG phone number and that she (the manager) would refund the payment to my card. She also told me I WOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING BILLED AGAIN, BUT GUESS WHAT I GOT TODAY? A text notification from Chase that I had been charged AGAIN. When I called EWC and explained the situation AGAIN, the dope at the desk hung up on me. I made it very clear that if I needed to go in there to see the manager in person, it would be very serious, as I understand the law and can speak quite well. Now, I have to wait for this nimrod to call me again AND file fraud charges with Chase. You can get a solid wax, but the stress of this place doesn't even warrant it. There are TONS of other salons that perform the same service, are easier to deal with, and have professionals running things, this just isn't one of them.
