I tried this salon after moving back into the area. My first appointment and experience went well. I came back for a fill in and unfortunately had to leave mid way through. The picture above is after my fill in was finished and the tech was going to apply the color. While she was using the nail drill she wasn't paying attention with her head entirely upward while talking to a coworker and she hit my cuticle and cut it with the drill. She used her finger and wiped the blood, then applied an unknown solution to the area - again with her finger, I was terrified I was going to catch an infection. I asked for an almond shape and the picture above is after two attempts of me asking if she could please smooth out the nail and shape it a little bit rounder. I then left after the second attempt at showing her that the nail was misshapen. I then had an entire nail fall off approximately a week after my fill in while grocery shopping which has never happened to me since I have had acrylic nails. I then started going to a different salon weeks later. When we removed the color and exposed the nail there was a green discoloration underneath the acrylic nail they glued on. This happened to be under every single nail. The nail tech couldn't believe it. I had never had such a thing happen to me and was mortified. I really wanted to love this place but be careful! Called for a last minute on a Saturday afternoon for a full set & they fit me in within the hour. Sat with Tina who listened to what I wanted (mostly rectangle but just thinner a bit at the top) love the way they came out. I didn't get the name of the tech who did the design unfortunately. Everyone in the salon had masks and there were plexiglass dividers between each station. They also gave me two files in a sandwich bag to bring back when I return to do my nails (think I was charged 5$) which i thought was a great touch and was more than happy to pay a bit more for the security of knowing the tools were my own. They told me that the person who was going to do my nails was with someone else and I should wait. 3:15...3:20...3:25...I asked if anyone was going to do my nails and was told my person was still working with someone else. This has been a long time coming but yesterday was my last time coming to this salon. It started off wonderful 4 years ago. Prices were good, workers were amazing and you felt like a valued customer. After COVID, the place just slowly started to go down. All of the wonderful workers slowly started to leave. And the owner, I felt, slowly stopped coming in and you started to see her mom all of sudden. Every time I call this establishment , no one answers the phone. Granted I made all of my appointments online, but sometimes I have to call. I always thought they were busy until I witnessed the phone ringing while I was getting my nails done and no one would answer it.... EACH TIME IT RANG. Finally, they muted the phone, couldn't be bothered. This has happened every time I went there for the past 6 months. Now the past 3 months, every time I go there, the mom is sleeping in the pedicure chair. Yes, every single time. Phone is ringing but she is sleeping. I am not at the point where I am like I cannot believe this is happening. And I have watched the place go from being completely filled, to no one at all being in there when I get in there. Well... my last appointment was the icing on the cake. I sat next to a woman that was getting her acryllics cut off and they were flying everywhere! It hit me a few times and it hit my nail tech twice in the face. Who wants someone's nail clippings flung on them? I just wanted to get out of there at this point. Being that I was so close to this woman getting her nails done, her conversations with her nail tech were hard to not hear. She wanted a UV gel but was told that dip powder is what she wants. She asked a lot of questions but her nail tech didn't answer one of them (she was on her phone talking to someone the whole time she was doing her nails so maybe she never heard a question) The woman kept asking if she can pick a different color and her nail tech said no you want this one. I was very shocked at how this nail tech helped her client. At the end the woman said I need to wash my hands and the nail tech said NO, lotion first! The woman said no, lotion after and the nail tech said NO. The woman looked at me and was like this is crazy. I knew in that moment.. I was completely done. Second time here, this time instead of getting a gel manicure and pedicure I decided to come back to get a full set since so many rave about this place being the best. I used their online appointment scheduling tool to book an appointment with Tina H. who had promising positive reviews about her work. I arrived 3 minutes prior to my appointment, and was greeted by a woman in the front on a Wednesday evening.. after about 10 minutes she tells me she's going to take me. I asked her if she was Tina and she told me no, she responded Tina has someone and will take too long. I told her I specifically set an appointment with Tina online, she stated Tina had a walk-in client and I told her I referred to their strict rules online about no walk-ins and that's why I, myself set an appointment to comply. She walked away, and asked me to walk down to Tina's station where another young woman was asked to get up midway thru her service and give me her seat with Tina. When I sat down I showed Tina the reference photo of what I wanted on my nails. She proceeded to do my nails, and I felt EXTREMELY rushed. To the point where when I was paying she already had her coat on to run out the door. I went to tip her and she was already outside on her way to her car. I've attached photos of my nails after 1 week. They aren't the prettiest set I've gotten, for someone who never gets acrylics (first time in 9 years to be exact). I can easily say this place is at the bottom of my list when it comes to the MANY nail salons in Woodbridge, NJ. FYI.. they charge you an additional $5 for a "nail kit" even if you have no intention of returning, in effort to avoid using the same nail files and buffers on clients due to Covid. I find it to be impossible to replace nail dremels on the machines they use to file and shape nails and they aren't making you pay for that? They also only offer you loyalty points if you pay with cash, and surcharge you $1 if you pay with card. Which is not legal, I've been in banking 6 years, you cannot subject your clients to pay for YOUR POS system fees. read more

My friend introduce me to this place before Covid and I was extremely pleased with how my nails looked. It's a beautiful salon with TVs to keep you entertained. Now during Covid they are open again, O've been there twice during Covid so far. They now seem to let customers wait inside, I prefer to wait in the car. There needs to be better control of the crowds waiting as the seats to wait and there people standing by the window/register area inside. I was disappointed when I went to my nail appointment, because the tech was finishing up her customer to see me but she didn't sanitize the area before seating me. They should be sanitizing seats, hand/arm rest, the UV area, everything before seeing the next person. I wasn't comfort with that. Safety over everything please. From now on I'll just have to let them know this and stop them, as I'll wipe down the area myself before taking a seat. This is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Dropped in on a saturday around 3pm good thing I got there when I did because people were calling and coming in. So I know this place gets a lot of business. I was recommended this place from a co worker. What I liked first about the place is that the owner of the establishment was very welcoming when I walked in. I requested what I wanted and they took me right away. I wanted to try the dip powder because I heard good things about it. When jenny's husband decided to do my nails I was immediately relieved. From the reviews a lot mentioned jenny, which she did my design and she was very detailed and she was very nice as well. My experience there was great , I had no complaints. Watched some movies while you get your nails done so they keep you entertained. What I also like about this salon is that the nail techs and management connect and interact with their clients which I barely would see when visiting nail establishments. They definitely seem to care about their clients and make sure they leave their salon happy and satisfied. I will definitely be back to get my toes and eyebrows done soon as well. Also try to go on a weekday but I definitely got lucky but I wouldnt mind the wait either. The nail tech , jenny's husband I forgot to get his name but he knew is stuff and suggested the dip powder as well to help my nails grow. Great personality and good vibes. I went this afternoon for a Mani-pedi. I walked in and didn't have to wait at all! I'm indecisive and don't get my nails done very often. A young girl at the front and Ivan (who did my mani-pedi )helped me figure out what I wanted, even down to matching the color to a dress I'll be wearing to a wedding this weekend ! I took my shoes off only to realize I had a muddy paw print on my foot, how embarrassing ‍. Ivan jokingly teased about how I also had dog hair on my pants. Lol. He was very friendly. We chatted for a bit then I let him do his work and he let me relax . The atmosphere was welcoming. The salon was a normal salon , nothing over the top. I didn't have being screamed at by my nail tech on my bingo card but here we are. I've been going to John for months and he does a wonderful job... but today when I asked for chrome powders... he snapped. I didn't like the original chrome he put on ONE finger to try so I asked to try another. The second one was the same when he put it on the one finger as the first so we tried one more. As I was about to ask him to put it on another finger because I liked it... he told me that "if you don't f%cking like it go elsewhere. This is the third powder you made me try and I'm DONE. Open your f%cking eyes at the color." Berated me, cursed me off AND slammed things down on the table. It was appalling and disgusting. Two women stood up and told the owner that if she lets her employees talk to people that way- they don't wanna be there and they'll never be back. They also then proceeded to charge me full price after I was treated that way and let me know he won't be fired. Take that as you will. read more

HOWEVER Don't bother making an appointment, or being a loyal customer. 2 times ago had an appointment waited 35 minutes, ya know stuff happens. Last time I waited over 1 1/2 HOURS. I made the mistake of making an appointment for today, showed up 5 minutes early, 45 minutes later they soaked my nails which I NEVER DO, scraped most of the polish off and my girl is just starting to polish the woman she was working on. I've been coming to this nail salon for about six months. I took a two month break due to $$ no big. Every time that I have gone, Jenny @ table 4 has done my nails. I highly recommend reserving with her. She is a fast and clean worker. She is also very detail oriented. When I come for my appointments, I just bring a photo and she makes it look exactly like my reference. The very first time I came here I was greeted with a warm welcome by most of the staff. I was offered wine and asked to wait a small amount of time (but I didn't make an appointment so that was on me). Every staff member is always happy and smiling, they have always made me feel welcomed. Although I love Jenny's work, you could go to anyone and your nails would still look amazing. I just started with her, so I prefer to stick with her. Today I went back after two months & Mickey did my nails because Jenny was not there. However, I was not disappointed. I left very very happy. Overall, I would 10/10 recommend to anyone. I have gone through so many salons I thought I would never find a good, safe and clean place but then I came here and I fell in love. Came in for a gel pedicure and dip powder for my hands. The pedicure was extremely rushed and honestly my feet weren't horrible, but my heels don't look any different than not having it done. I also had asked for gel and she put regular polish on and then had to remove it I told her I asked for gel. She removed the polish while I had my shoes on and got it all over my flip flops. The powder dip was really nice, but pedicure was not at all relaxing. Also, I don't know how sanitary the place is, because they use the same drill bit t ok everyone and they look dirty. I have been to this location maybe 3 times and today will hands down be my last visit. It is actually unfortunate because they did a good job on my gel manicure the guy really took his time. Any other gel manicure I have gotten in the past was not as meticulous as this one. The manicure alone was going to have me coming back again and again. Until the end of my pedicure, I always bring my own polish for my pedicure, Sally Hansen Miracle Gel with the topcoat. Please keep in my that this polish does not need UV light so it is not considered gel polish. (Also I have gotten a pedicure here in the past with the exact same polish and to add insult to injury the lady broke the brush off my $9 bottle nail polish, so called cleaning my brush for me, which I did not ask for! ) They did not offer to discount anything nor apologize, so I should have learned my lesson then. Anyways back to today they lady who I assume is in charge blew the whole situation of of portion (yelling and screaming at her staff (some her own family) & taking very loudly and rudely to me about this not so gel nail polish) and told me if they put the topcoat on which is just a thicker clear polish. They are going to charge me for a gel pedicure. So an extra $15 just to put on a topcoat! They must be crazy that doesn't make sense to a fool. It's my polish and does not require a UV light or any extra steps. I kindly left tipped the staff because they did do a good job and took my polish with me and applied the topcoat at home for FREE! I will NEVER return to this nail salon again nor will I RECOMMEND them to anyone I know. read more

They're fast, neat, and their products are great quality. They don't charge you extra if you want to change the shape of nails even if you came from a different salon.
