I wasn't going to post a review of Majestic Painting because I thought they only did an OK job. I am posting now because I keep getting solicitations to post a review including this most recent one below: "Hi [Customer Name], We hope you're thrilled with your recent experience with Majestic Painting Company! Your feedback is incredibly important to us ...". For full disclosure, there were solicitations where my name was used. Majestic's crew painted our houses exterior. Overall it was an adequate job. We solicited quotes for exterior and interior paint. We had them do the exterior job but will not ask them back for the interior paint. Pros 1. Significantly lower price than any of four other quotes I obtained. 2. Adequate job. 3. Willing to retouch areas when pointed out Cons 1. Low attention to detail including painting over visible dirt and leaving multiple notable blobs of paint. 2. Trampled front planting beds. 3. Relatively loud music played rather than painters using headphones. 4. Poor clean up. 4. No one from Majestic including the project manager actually touched base with me about my thoughts on their job read more

I can't recommend. My husband Paul and I chose Majestic Painting to paint our home inside and out because we are planning to sell. Our realtor recommended them to us and while they weren't the least expensive we decided you pay a bit more for quality. Here's the facts: We were quoted 3-4 days MAX with touch-ups. We understand things can happen though and expected minor delays. What we didn't expect was being promised two teams (as in, I have email receipts with the scheduled appointments booked) but only one team showed up. MOST of the time the "Team" consisted of one man being left alone in the house, and that ONE man couldn't communicate with me or my husband because he didn't know any English at all. It was awful. How do you leave someone here who cannot communicate in any way with your customer? We later came to find out that man was unfortunately only an apprentice and didn't know how to do many things he should have. This resulted in: None of the holes being filled in before the painting happened. Once someone we could talk to showed up he assured us that they would patch the holes AFTER painting so you couldn't tell. I will let you judge via my pictures whether you can tell. Worse still, the job took EIGHT days, and this morning we woke up to paint PEELING AND CRACKING all over the house. We don't think they applied enough paint, and if they did, perhaps the wall was improperly prepared. This makes no sense less than a week after painting otherwise. We were shocked to see them not removing light switches, or even properly masking them. We even mentioned it when they were here. I'm only leaving two stars because the exterior of the house looks beautiful, but the interior is just awful. Really. We tried talking them into a discount seeing as we didn't get what was promised but they didn't even bend that much. Disappointed. Check out my pictures to see what I'm saying. Walked away at 11th hour. Not responsive. Avoid this poorly run family business that operates to support their family more than their customers. We were scheduled to have our project start in less than two days, and they pulled out because we asked for basic information, including: a time range for when the project manager will show up at our house (we work and need to be available for the walkthrough), how many people are assigned to the project, and if they've purchased materials to complete the project (lumber even for baseboards is expensive and not readily available). Why did they pull out? Because their precious brother-in-law (sales rep Erik) was upset that we asked for information. The current market favors vendors over customers, and on top of that Majestic Painting Company treats their customers like garbage. Don't waste your time. read more

After checking with others we hired Majestic Painting to paint our house. Not sure how long the paint will last before peeling because of how cold it was as the crew painted over the days when it was less than 40 degrees outside. Looked around the house and the crew dumped paint waste at various places around the house including on the street by the crew's van door. There was also a bright yellow liquid in the snow right by their van. This is what our painting job was like that cost us thousands of dollars. read more

This company did an excellent job! The crew was very hard working and courteous. What I loved most was that Erik, who also gave us the estimate, actually came and walked the house with us to find any mistakes etc. He was GREAT! I have had a couple of houses painted and that kind of customer service was never offered. The price was right in the middle of the bids I had taken and I really felt the value was amazing for the job. I will be calling them next year to paint my daughters house! My realtor Wendy Fisher hired this company to repair some stucco cracks before the closing on my home - they came did the repair and inadvertently left the outside water hose on - which caused water damage in my basement - but they came immediately and repaired the wall and flooring before the closing without charge. I would highly recommend this company - very fair and responsible. It was wonderful to work with them.
