I had a couple of walls in mind, and Zane came to take a look and give me an estimate. He noticed some sloppiness in the work others had recently done on some renovations, but was willing to fix the parts that would affect his work; e.g., linear corners where paint and dripped and bled onto the adjacent walls. He provided me with an interior design paint colorist, Kristen, as part of the project cost. Kristen is simply amazing. She understood what I was trying to accomplish with the color I was looking for, and made several recommendations, while talking through each one to help with a decision. In the end, she showed me such a great palette that I decided to do an additional room. She did not in any way suggest that I do this additional work; I just found such great colors that I wanted to complete my main floor right away. I still have some painting upstairs that I'd like to do, and I will definitely call Kristen back to help me with the colors! Zane gave me a fair estimate, and had availability for a team to come very quickly. He was willing to work with schedule of the contractor staining my floors so that they could do the right work in the correct order. APS was able to come to do the work with less than a week's notice. Amazing. The team was fantastic--communicative, knowledgeable. They did a great job. In the end, I noticed some minor flaws in one of the rooms, and they worked with me right away to come and fix it. I didn't pay the balance until they had completed the work to my satisfaction, and they did a truly nice job touching up my areas of concern. APS is professional, knowledgable, responsive, and just plain good at what they do. I will have them back to do all my professional painting, both inside and out.

So, Zach comes over to see the paint job we needed on the upstairs. When he found out that our daughter passed away two months earlier, he got quiet - and later left promising to get us a quote. Well, we hear back a week later that their entire team wants to paint the upstairs as a gift from their company to our family. I almost couldn't speak on the phone. The finished product is absolutely stunning. From the beginning, Eric and his team stood apart from every other company we contacted. Eric spent approximately 45 minutes carefully walking around our home, evaluating the condition of every surface, and explaining exactly what would be required to achieve the best possible result.
