The estimator said he would make a follow up call and he didn't. Project manager said he would call the week before and he didn't. The project manager said he would be there the day of the project and he wasn't. I was told that nails would be left and nail holes would be filled. Some nails were removed, and some nail holes were not filled. They said I would be shown the paint color before it was put on the walls and I wasn't. There is paint on baseboards in a couple of places. For the price I paid I expected closer to perfection, and I expected them to do what they said they were going to do. Update- I dusted my blinds this weekend, first time since the painting. I have paint on my blinds. Curious because the estimator said they take blinds down but gave the disclaimer that they aren't blind installers. read more

Just had our exterior house painted by Imperial Painters. This was a really smooth process. I requested a quote over the weekend & I was contacted first thing Monday morning to set up a meeting with Ryan to come out and discuss our job with him. The meeting was set up for a few days out, really quick & Ryan showed up on time and answered all our questions and gave us a quote within a few minutes. We were then contacted by Christian who set up the crew. We were lucky to get the best crew headed by Sergio. It was super hot out but the crew worked hard all day. They did a fantastic job & cleaned up afterwords. Christian kept in contact with me throughout the job to make sure we were satisfied with the work. The job in total went for 1.5 days. As far as pricing not cheap, but well worth it. Definitely would recommend. read more

I love Imperial Painters. What an awesome group of cool, talented people. I worked with Alyssa, Wilbur, Manny, and Christian, and everyone was so cold at their jobs. They advised be on color placements because I was so unsure of myself, and the results on my 1899 home are just beautiful. It was not an easy job--the house is super tall, I used 5 colors, and there's a busy street on one side. Nevertheless, they were equal to the task. I will absolutely hire them again for the garage job after I have the siding repaired. read more

We cannot rate them higher than two stars. The wall and ceiling paint transformed the ugly walls into a very light, bright, house. The painters were dependable, showed up for work daily, and yes, painted the walls and ceilings throughout the house. Our walk through was at 5pm. We walked around the house and were so pleased with how the paint opened up and transformed the look of the house. Let's just say a 5pm walk through was the biggest mistake ever! What a surprise we had the next morning. Why? Because the best light in this house is in the morning starting around 9am. We have been picking, wiping, and removing paint splatters everywhere! Floors, cabinets, stove, fridge, sinks, counters, door handles, floor vents, windows, etc. I even had to take a bakers scraper to the white counter tops, as the counter was so full of splatters it felts bumpy! We loved Alyssa, and chose Imperial Painters because we felt they would do the best job based on our conversations with Alyssa and Spencer, but we are very disappointed in the lack of care for the hard surfaces in our home. Oh and lastly, one of the painters trucks leaked oil so bad we had to buy Krud Kutter and Simple Green and spray the street and try to wash it away over three days. We will still have spots of oil to look at for years to come. We didn't notice it while they were working because he parked there every day. So, being that we had never hired professional painters, we learned some very valuable lessons, and to be honest, we will probably never hire professionals again as a result of our experience. read more

I was on a tight timeline and they were able to get the project completed on schedule, even with a few additional surfaces that we added on (doors) after the initial estimate. The paint job looks really good. The price was reasonable and the crew was friendly. I do think they could have been more thorough in cleaning up after the job was over and protecting some of the windows; I was surprised at how much paint spray I've had to clean up and how much additional masking tape I've found in random places and had to remove. Also, the paint lines in the master bathroom where the wall meets the baseboard were a little sloppy. The foreman said that he'd come back and fix it for me, no charge, a couple of days after the job was over, so I can't be too critical here, but I also think it should have been done right the first time. I'm happy with the job overall and I'd likely use them again; if it were possible, I'd give them 4.5 stars - but since it's not, and there are a couple of things that could have been better, 4 stars it is. read more

We needed to paint our entire home per HOA request. We went with Imperial Painters because the woman who came and gave us a quote talked all about their specialty in attention to detail and promised it would be done in 2 days. 8 days of working 8am - 5 pm later and the house was a disaster. Sloppy work, tons of missed spots, overspray all over our roof and driveway, paint spilled all over our lawn and back deck, the front and back doors looked like they were painted by a toddler, they painted our metal storm door so now it chips off if you bump it, our garden was completely ruined, and they ran out of paint 3 tiThey painted our garage door shut so when we went to leave for work in the morning it ripped off huge chunks of the garage siding. If you choose Imperial Painters, make sure you are supervising every day and are incredibly clear about the standard you expect and explain you'd like them to not damage your house - apparently that wasn't obvious. But even with clear communication, you may still be disappointed by them. After the foreman Christian continued to break promises and wasnt showing up to supervise his workers, I fired them and set out to finish the project on my own. The owner was finally called and she gave me a small discount and offered to spray paint my roof to hide the mess and re-stain our patio ceiling. I agreed to those terms and we went our separate ways. This company over promised and under delivered. Hope you aren't as disappointed by them as I was. read more
