Great older motel. Awesome service and amenities. Super clean and comfy rooms. Places like this are getting hard to find.

This charming motel provided friendly service and a clean room at a reasonable price. Quick drive from here into Salt Lake.

Great deal for the price which is cheapest in town. Tv, GREAT shower pressure, two sinks. Cozy and warm.

It's located next to a large indoor mall and other restaurants. I arrived from Honolulu at 10am. The hotel was empty. They would not allow early check in, and I'm a Hilton gold member. That was disappointing. I also did not receive any mywaybenefits. The room was very dated and dingy. The shower had very low water pressure. The TV was super old! The AC at night would go from super freezing cold to boiling hot, resulting in not the best rest. The staff did not seem to want guests there.

This isn't a dead mall rather pretty much the whole space is used which is incredible this day and age. I found the hotel to be slightly dated, but not so bad that it deterred staying here. Warning to people who like a soft-medium mattress, these beds are not for you. They are solid firm mattresses without much give. They stack four thin pillows for you, I brought my own so that helped but I was awake so often to flip over because of pain they didn't really matter much anyway. Access points are at convenient spots around the building right next to the parking area. I appreciated that we could cone into our building close to our room at the opposite end of check in. They have daily cleaning services, if you don't need it that day, be sure to hang the tag on the door so they don't wake you up. I do appreciate the complimentary coffee and tea across from reception and also the cleanliness of the hotel in general even though things do need some tweaking like the squeaky luggage carts and the carpets need to be restretched in the hallways. I think they are trying to bring a great guest experience, so I'm going to leave my rating at a 4, unless something happens that affects that rating while I'm still here.

The person who checked us in said "I'm in your parking spot, but you can have it when I leave at 10pm tonight". We didn't say a thing, what we were supposed to say? 2) When we walked in, immediate stench of odor, reminiscent of a run down old folks home. 3) Entire room was dirty, dusty, cobwebs, including the jetted tub that smelled musty. 4) The pillow on the bed (see photo) inferring they don't launder their comforters, gross. 5) Breakfast was average; microwaved precooked bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and French toast. Not terrible, not $225/night quality. 6) Guest book in the room with rules & places to dine around town is outdated; Iggys? Hoppers? Both out of business for several years now. 7) No where to put your suitcase or belongings, not even a luggage rack to keep belongings off the floor. Smaller place, free parking and decent breakfast! It's just the principle of paying parking fees and a Holiday Inn Express that bugs me, it not like so fancy Hilton hotel on SF or something. So, this location is is just off South Auto mall drive just off the 15 freeway. I did notice a Texas Roadhouse steak place nearby! Easy to get to and park for free! Check in was fine and we all got our rooms just fine. All the keys even worked! My room was on the first floor, I requested that. The WiFi worked as that's the first thing I do when I get to my room is log the sucker on. I can do my work and run my crew that way. The room AC was good and the bathroom was clean and had good hot water pressure for those long hot shower that my little water tank at home can't give me! Everyone else said their rooms were fine. Coffee was available in the lobby all the time, so that's good, but I still miss my Starbucks coffee. Breakfast was fine, exactly what we expect at Holiday Inn Expresses, and those cinnamon rolls are fantastic. I think we'll be happy staying here rather than one of those other locations. The staff here at this location was nice and friendly and efficient.

The breakfast is nice, tho once again the pancake maker wasn't working. Hot water for cocoa wasn't filled, that sort of thing. Little things. My big issue is that I called in advance to be sure the hot tub was working. After a 10 hr drive a gal needs a hot tub. They assured me it was. When we checked in I asked again and was assured it was working. Hubs went to soak and came back to tell me nope, hot tub not working. So I hobble down with the grandkid for him to swim and I check out the hot tub. It's hot: but I go to turn the jets on and the knob and plate literally fell off into my hand. I brought it to the front desk and let them know that indeed no jets were working in the hot tub. I'd leave it at that but as we're soaking and kids swimming, maintenance came in - this man caulked/glued the plate on. So..: no intention of actually fixing the jets/timer - just cover that up.?! And still tell ppl you have a hot tub? Ok then. So we likely won't stay here next year.
