After getting a brand new car, I cannot trust washing my car just by any place. I was worried about scratches by just going to the regular drive in ones. But since I got this membership this month it's been my fourth visit. I honestly love that they have respectful workers and they make sure I am completely satisfied with their service. They are on it when I tell them when they didn't do such a great job with vacuuming. They are patient when I needed them to dry my vehicle better. Overall $17.99 a month for a bronze wash to decide if I want to wash daily or whenever I want to and then having them vacuum my vehicle is a plus, especially with the chilly weather we are having this Dec. month. They do unlimited car wash packages, detailing etc. I though this place was a hidden gem but since this month they have been busy and now I see they have lines waiting to get their car washed. I believe business is booming here and it's getting better and better as for customer satisfaction. read more

Sprayed something sticky on the touch screen and it quick working. When I talked to the manager, he denied and looked at me like it was my problem. Had to take the car home and clean the sticker stuff off the screen. A shame. This place used to be top notch. All kids running the place and does not appear to be under the management of an adult with experience running a business. read more

Recently visited right Christmas. They were super busy and the wait was long. I figured it would be worth it. I purchased the gold wash ($20.95). I was very disappointed in the final result. My windows had streaks and water spots on the inside and outside on every single window. My lower half of the doors still had dirt. I came back several days later to take advantage of their rewash guarentee. Every single employee was very friendly and had no problem with the rewash. The dirt was taken care of but the water spots were still present on every single window. I asked the person drying and he said that it was the water they used. I couldn't believe that was acceptable by management! I gave them three stars (instead of one) because of the great attitude of the employees. read more

Eh, mediocre at best. I've literally never had a bad car wash so I thought spending $50, plus supplying a $10 tip would have equated to the best car wash ever. Everyone was very friendly but I drove away disappointed. Once I hit the road, I realized my windshield, as well as my driver's side window and mirror were covered with water spots. I had to use my windshield wipers and fluid in order to drive home safely. When I got home, my back windshield was dirty and covered with pollen and my mirror casing was covered in dirt. So basically, I paid $60 for a vacuum job and some vanilla scent, probably not worth the drive to return. read more

Came in with my 2 year old to get my car washed before a road trip. Explained the outside wasn't a priority, but another family will be riding with us so I really wanted the inside to be spick and span. Was recommended the Gold Wash, went ahead and paid (tipped the vacuumers $2) took my sons car seat out and waited about 15 minutes. There were 2 other cars there. After it was done I went out, and the very polite person who showed me to my car waited while I installed my sons car seat again and told me to let him know if anything needed touched up. After I got the seat installed and my toddler wrangled into the hot car I didn't really look at the car before I took the keys, tipped the man $10, blasted the AC and drove off. The things I noticed as I was driving and when I got home really bothered me and were as follows: 1. My steering wheel and dash were very obviously not wiped down, nor were any of the doors or handles. 2. The whole center console was untouched. 3. The space between the seats and the center console were untouched. 4. The trunk (which I had taken the time to remove the stroller, the diaper bag, and all of the things from) was not vaccumed. 5. I noticed no "fragrance" difference whatsoever although I requested the "new car smell option" Overall, it looks like I drove through a car wash and my car was haphazardly vaccumed. Which I feel like is exactly the services I received. Oh and my tires are shiny? I think that's all. I understand it was hot, but I feel that the services offered, promised, and paid for were not what I received. It was around $25 before tip, ($35 after tip). I gave 2 stars because everyone was very polite and friendly. I've attached a photo of the center console. I wish I would've taken one of the steering wheel before I baby wiped it. read more

I am usually pretty happy with my car washes here. They vacuum your car prior to running it through an automatic wash and finish it up with hand dry and any extras you pay for (i.e., tire lusters). They are very efficient and the wait is never terribly long. 90 percent of the time its young adults or teens that works on your car. I think they do a great job for the price. If you want more detailed cleaning, I suggest you take it to a detailer or do it yourself. read more

I think that I am done giving this place the benefit of the doubt. After joining their Car Wash Club, and on two separate occasions watching other cars come and go while mine remained untouched, I finally got fed up, got my keys from one of the kids and drove off without getting it fully cleaned. So much for being a "VIP". In a nutshell, there is NO MANAGEMENT here, no one running the show. Lots of young people working hard, but not smart. There is no set priority for cleaning cars. No one in charge of assigning vehicles. No one available if you have an issue or concern. A call to the location resulted in me canceling my account with no resolution, no apology or attempt to save my business. An email on the corporate site has gone unanswered. I'm not sure what kind of experience the other reviewers had, but mine was beyond excellent. I went for an interior detail and car wash and Clyde was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He even helped me find a plug to charge my phone and let me sit in my car while he finished up because I was cold. I work in sales so I drive sometimes 150 mi/day. That being said, I basically live in my car. Considering that my car was a landFill of filth, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the car. I had never been to this establishment before today. I used their detailing service (the basic detail package for cars only) for $149.99 and took them about two hours to complete with appointment. I didn't know what to expect, but they did a great job. My car wasn't that dirty on the inside but the rims were caked on with brake dust. Now my car looks show room ready. I was looking to get my car cleaned after a beach weekend. Normally, I clean my own car, but after a busy weekend it's the last thing I wanted to do. Ran up here because it was close. I was the only car in the lot, and it took them a little while to realize I was waiting. I did the silver wash, which wasn't extensive by any means. Lance did an amazing job paying attention to detail and going back over what the other guys missed. He was the only one that actually seemed to want to be there and do a decent job. This place has really hit rock bottom. Used to be the absolute best in the Hampton Roads area. The people were courteous, quick & thorough. Now it's absolute crap. My last visit got me 2 washed tires (I have four), and the back area of the Pilot wasn't touched by the vacuumers. My truck sat at the end of the wash line for over 5 minutes. When it was pulled onto the lot, it sat for another 7 minutes. When the detailer started, he pulled the tag off the window, wiped the front glass and rear windows (inside & out) and then the windshield. He slicked the tires and then raised his hand. What he didn't do was open the hatch and clean any of the back glass. (Keeping up? Now the entire rear has been missed.) The dash & console completely omitted, door frames - untouched. He gave the excuse of "We've been trying to play catch up all day. " When I asked to speak to the manager, J.B. said "You did only get the Gold Wash." The Gold wash includes Windows. J.B. said "I'll give the benefit of the doubt of my guy." I said to myself "I guess the customer isn't always right." J.B. replied "Yep." I didn't get anywhere worth what I paid for an "auto spa" here. I first pulled up to Majestic and after sitting in line for roughly 10 minutes I was greeted by a guy wanting to sell me a car wash package that was around $40. I seen what he was offering, and I said "I want a package that will remove all the road tar, and bug guts, off my truck, and somethin.g that will have my interior looking as close to new as possible." He showed me a package that came out to be about $65 so I said "that's fine as long as all that stuff gets taking c,are of" he told me a wash that is that detailed will take roughly 45 minutes. I came back an hour later, to find my truck parked on the side. As I walked up a young kid said "your truck has been ready for half an hour". I did a walk around with the kid on the exterior and there was still an apparent amount of bug splatters and road tar. I pointed it all out to him, and asked him if he was aware of the package I purchased and that they were supposed to clean it all off. He said yes he was, and would clean it off. I showed him where the seats didn't even get vacuumed out, or the dash board area, and map pockets. The kid said he would have the truck ran through again, and redo it. It would take another 45 minutes for the truck to be done. At this point I asked to speak with a manager, but was told by a cashier inside that there wasn't one currently there and the closest thing to a manager was detailing a car in the garage. So it was exactly 45 minutes on the dot, that the kid came in to get me and say my truck was done for the 2nd time. I showed him the same things again with he tar, bug guts, and interior vacuuming in the seats. He said "sir, all we have are these rags that we use over and over all day. Give us a break" I left my name and number with the cashier and asked for the manager to call me to work this problem out. NOT ONCE have I received a call back from a manager or anyone representing Majestik Auto Spa. Their automated car wash is crap!! Next time you are there and walking down the aisle, look and see how many of the washer nozzles are not spraying any water or soap. The so-called tire blasters have been inoperative for over a month... All they do is sit there and wave back-and-forth at the tire as your car drives by. On the rinse cycle, 8 of 10 of the rinse nozzles are broken. What is the worst though is the smell of the "recycled water" they use to "clean" your car with...it smells like a septic tank...and this is what they are cleaning your car with!! I asked the cashier about it and how often they change the water...she said she did not know and that the smell was gross when the breeze blew the smell back her way and she had to smell it all day. Back to the cleaning... My car is 3 months old...it still has the new car smell. After a recent long trip up north for a week, I took it here for a quick wash...I looked at my car when it came out of the wash bay...there was still dirt and road grime all over the front. When I mentioned this to the guy who picked up my vehicle, he said that's normal but he'd clean it with his towel!! In other words, he'd "rub" the dirt and grime off in his towel and then rub the dirty grimy towel all over my car. Now, I did question the manager about all the non-working sprayers & he basically said they were waiting on parts and that they could only replace parts on rainy days...in other words, not stay late to fix broken parts or do maintenance on their equipment. Makes me wonder; with all that dirty, smelly, stinky, sewer water, maybe that is a cause for all of their clogged nozzles. Bottom line, the owner of this place does not give a sh@# about how clean your car is vs. how much money he's making (the place has a steady stream of customers in the weekends). No maintenance is done on their equipment and your car is getting a half-azzed wash with water dirtier than a septic tank!! read more

I got the ultimate wash plus my 2 front seats shampooed today. Great job on the outside and cleaning the interior, plus my seats really needed to be cleaned and now they look brand new. The reason I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the confusion on my way in. I followed the arrows to the entrance of the car wash where employees were vacuuming and driving other cars into the wash, but no one acknowledged me or gave me any direction on if I was in the right place to order and pay or not so after a few minutes of sitting in line, I actually had to wave down an employee to make sure. Visited today and purchased the bronze wash. Understand it was really hot but... opened the hatch of my car and it didn't even look like it had been vacuumed. Showed the young lady and she said she would vacuum It again. After second vacuum she told me she couldn't get the sand up in the crevice it around the pull to the tire compartment. Really ? Then showed her the trim had not been wiped. She just looked at me. Checked the back seat and the floor board still had dirt that had not been vacuumed out. My car was not filthy but needed a good vacuum. It is a 2019 BMW. Windows were streaked. Dashboard still had dust. Screen for Mac was not even wiped - still had fingerprints. Asked to speak to the manager. He came right over. Told him my issues and he said ok. I said "ok". He said well I can't make you come back or stay. Great customer relations. My truck was pretty dirty inside and out, so I stopped at this place to give it a try and caught the manager special for 32 bucks inside/outside cleaning. They vacuum cleaned it and ran it through the automated washer and then they finished up by hand. The whole process took about 30 minutes I thought it was very well run as it was a pretty busy day. My truck shined again and the inside was reasonably clean but could've been better. I did take a closer look at the outside I wish they would've there just a little bit better job on removing the bugs. Overall I think I got what I paid for, I stop again probably because here in Elizabeth City we don't have any service like this. read more

I had my Pilot and my Husbands Tundra washed, wipe down and vacuumed. When I check out the inside and asked them to get a section that was missed the guy huffed at me and rolled his eyes. The girl working on my car barely did anything on the inside. My 7 ur old could have done a better job. She threw massive attitude when I asked to open the trunk. Took my car here for a quick wash, was in and out in 20 minutes. Went through a car wash, they wiped the exterior and the rims. The inside was vacuumed, dash was cleaned and interior windshield was cleaned. This was all included in the bronze package of $15.95. Super happy! read more

I am usually very happy with this car wash and attendant cleaning so I tried a full car detail ($160) yesterday. When I picked up my car there were caked on dirt spots all over the hood. I showed my detailer the spots and asked why he did not remove them, especially since the detail included a wax applied with an orbital. As he began to give me excuses, I used my wet finger to remove several of the dirt spots. He said he did not try to remove them since his allotted time was limited. The inside windows were all smeared and I had him redo the inside front windshield. He couldn't even get that right. The leather interior had wet smudge areas that were not wiped down. He said they used Armour All on all leather interiors. Several other areas were glossy wet and not clean. read more

We were in and out in 15 minutes and my SUV looked awesome. The inside was pretty filthy with sand from the beach, but once we got it back you wouldn't have had any idea how much was in there. I think it a great place for the price and location. I took one car here for a hand wash and one for a standard wash. I thought the work was good and the young men and women there did a good job even as they were closing. Perhaps the only issue is the HORRENDOUS line and wait time. Probably a good idea to set aside a few hours to have your car or truck taken care of. Time for the owner to pony up and buy a bigger lot away from the shopping center!! read more

Updated review 4-2-17. The previous review regarding the maintenance of their car washing equipment has been resolved. Went by today and found the equipment all working perfectly. They did a great job cleaning my truck. Previous review. I agree with all the Joe J commented in regards to the upkeep of the washing equipment. It's been three months since Joe J comments regarding the broken wash equipment with many rain days to fix the broken washer sprayers, passenger side wheel scrubber that is laying on the floor, bad bearings in the 2 back and forth washers which barely work, all 4 spinning bristle washers have missing or broken shocks and hardly moves , 9 of 10 non functioning clear coat sprayer heads, and clogged drivers side wheel dressing sprayer. As a business owner myself, your equipment is what makes your money. Having the glass to watch the process allows those watchers to look at how you take care of your money maker. From what I see you are about making the money and letting your equipment struggle to do a half a**ed job cleaning the car. Which is over priced for the substandard service I pay for a managers special every time I come in and after what I saw today, I'll give it a month and one more try before I find another place to clean my car. For those patrons that regularly get your car washed here. Spend a few minutes looking at how the equipment is working. Maybe if enough of us complain the owner will get the message and start caring about his customers investments that we pay him good money to clean. read more

Terrible service. Asked for an emphasis on interior and got nothing even upgraded to the most expensive wash and got a terrible interior job. Looks like some one was cutting wood in the shift boot and cup holder. Door sill was dirty as hell. All the mats were just tossed in. When I asked the person that washed it he looked at me asked what I wanted him to do.. I don't know. Maybe clean it up? Dash still had dust mounds. i had a very bad experience with my car wash there... my car was still dirty my center console was covered in dirt... if i'm paying $25+ to get my car clean i expect it to come out clean the rags they used to wipe my car dry were left of top of my car this is ridiculous.. i paid for tire shine and i did not get it.. you need to teach your little high school boys how to wash cars correctly... the next time i come in i WILL need to talk to a manager. my carpet... yeah was barley vacuumed at all it looked the same when i picked it up as when i dropped it off. the stoner are not doing their job read more

I think the employees should be trained on putting a little elbow grease into getting the cars cleaned. I had a grease line across my hood that the attendent told me me it was a protective bug shield. I came home and wiped it off with a towel. Invisible bug shield is now gone.
