And the cost is always deductible for the following year. We make an appointment on a weekend day each year and make a half-day of it. After our 9am appointment this year, we had breakfast while we waited for the computer entry and filing, picked up our info again, and were home by noon.

Pretty good accountant with reasonable rates…read more While I don't particularly love the location- the office is in the funky Grand Mall in Grand Blanc- the important things here with an accountant are competency, trustworthiness and decent rates. I'm pleased (so far) with his services. He's done a good job on our taxes now for two years straight after I found him through a recommendation after I bailed on my longtime CPA in Flushing because they fouled up a tax return. Mr. Kubik managed to undo the damage done by my former CPA, and didn't charge me more for the snafu. While the cost of different tax returns will vary, our taxes cost about $150- not too bad.

He didn't ask any questions regarding deductions or any other information. He had everything done in about 30 minutes and sent me on my way. I had not received my 2nd and 3rd stimulus checks because they were sent to my old address. I told him about this and he put down on my tax form that I received both checks. He also misspelled my last name on all of my forms which ended up causing me not to receive my full refund.
